A ce prix là tu ne trouveras pas beaucoup d'amateurs français, même si c'est deux fois le salaire d'un ingénieur des travaux publics pondichériens, ou celui d'un prof de la fac de Pondy.
Au Lycée Français, on en touche déjà 30.000 en contrat local.
Que faire avec 10.000 roupies par mois, même logé, habitué à un certain train de vie, quand un téléphone portable avec abonnement Airtel pour 3 mois en coûte déjà 4000, quand un livre de poche récent en coûte 250, quand un bon repas dans un resto populaire en coûte au moins 100, et une course en ville en rickshaw, 50?
Ce n'est plus de la vocation: c'est du sacerdoce ou de l'aide sociale.

Actuellement il y a déjà une jeune Française qui a pris le poste, que j'ai mis en relation avec l'école, elle quitte sa onction et nous recherchons une remplaçante ; j'ai déjà eu des propositions mais dont le profil ne convenait pas, voilà c'est tout, ce n'est pas un sacerdoce car c'est une expérience courte, et ce n'est pas du bénévolat non plus ; en outre pour quelqu'un qui souhaite pénétrer au coeur de la vie indienne, je crois qu'il n'y a rien de tel... mais merci pour ces remarques, je comprends votre point de vue.

L'Inde manque cruellement de professeurs de français, pourtant la demande est assez importante.
A Bangalore par exemple on voit de plus en plus de professeurs de français originaires d'Afrique de l'Ouest francophone. De vrais professeurs de français et non pas d'anciens élèves de l'Alliance Française ce que sont en général les professeurs de français locaux. Il faudrait peut-être rechercher du côté de l'Afrique...

Eh bien ça ne me paraît pas si ridicule que ça comme salaire, pour peu qu'on soit 2 à travailler.
Je serais bien tentée par ce poste mais je ne pense pas avoir le profil, je suis prof d'allemand, en licence de lettres modernes, mais je n'ai pas pu m'inscrire en FLE cette année, je m'y suis prise trop tard...
L'autre problème c'est mon conjoint, on serait plus intéressés par un un poste double (il enseigne les sciences physiques).

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour
2) Open a mini supermarket + a modern bakery using the flour for pastries, etc.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
