Ma copine et moi avons pour projet de partir a Montreal en octobre 2008 pour une durée de 1 an et travailler la bas durant cette période.
Nous avons regarder les démarches administratives mais tout ca reste assez flou. Si j'ai bien compris 2 options s'offrent a nous :
_ décrocher un employeur avant le départ pour pouvoir obtenir un permis de travail temporaire
_ faire une demande de programme vacances travail pour les jeunes et esperer etre selectionné tous les 2
Le problème est que les PVT sont complets pour cette année. Nous pourrions donc partir au mieux en janvier 2009 si nous décrochons tous les 2 un PVT pour 2009 ?
Concernant le permis de travail, je suis ingénieur en developement informatique avec une experience de 2 an et demi dans le domaine du jeu video. Ce secteur étant particulièrement porteur au Canada, j'imagine que j'ai de bonnes chances de pouvoir trouver un emploi en cherchant activement de France. Mais pour ma copine ca risque d'être plus difficile car elle mettrait en suspens ses études de medecine (4eme année) et n'a donc pas encore de diplome superieur. Elle dispose cependant d'une bonne experience dans l'aide aux personnes agées mais je ne sais pas ce que ca vaut à l'étranger.
On part tous les 2 ou on ne part pas alors j'ai l'impression que ca complique pas mal les choses puisqu'il faut reussir a avoir les bonnes autorisations tous les 2.
Est ce que vous pensez que notre projet est réalisable et existe t'il d'autres possibilités que je n'aurai pas vu ? Et faut t'il quelquechose en plus de spécial pour le Quebec qui a un statut particulier au Canada ?
Je ne pensais pas que séjourner au Canada était si difficile (je n'ai jamais quitté l'Europe pour de longues periodes)

Tu as tout compris concernant les démarches administratives. Tu peux déposer une demande de PVT dès octobre prochain et partir dès janvier 2009. Ou bien, trouver un employeur avant de partir et obtenir grâce à lui un permis de travail.

Ici, ça s'appelle préposés aux bénéficiaires. Pour exercer de métier, il faut un DEP (diplôme d'étude professionnel) dans ce programme, durée plus ou moins 1 an. Du moins, la plupart des employeurs exigent ce diplôme. L'expérience de travail en France peut être un atout, mais ça dépend des employeurs, pour certain l'expérience étrangère n'a aucune valeur (hé oui 😕).
Sinon, votre projet est très réalisable car il y a grande pénurie dans les 2 domaines d'emploi. Même sans diplôme local, ta copine pourra peut-être se faire embaucher comme bénéficiaire car on en a beaucoup besoin ici!!
Et toi, peut-être que tu arriveras à décrocher un poste chez Ubisoft à Montréal...

Un ami m'a parlé d'une combine qui me permettrait de partir des octobre sans pvt ni permis de travail. Je pars la bas, et fais ma demande de pvt sur place des que possible (octobre ou novembre). Des que je recois le pvt, je passe la frontière américaine et fais le "tour du poteau" pour activer mon pvt.
Il me semble que l'on a le droit de rester 3 mois avec un visa touriste de base, donc ca concorde parfaitement. Mais quels sont les risques si jamais il y a quelques jours de décalage entre l'obtention de mon pvt et l'expiration de mon visa tourisme ? Cette pratique est elle légale ?
Bon ca nous ferais 3 mois sans pouvoir travailler mais ca me parait une bonne option. Bien sur si j'arrive a décrocher un permis de travail a la place, c'est encore mieux.
regle numero tu dois etre patient et bien construire ton projet j ai vecu 2 ans au canada avec mon ex ami de l epoke c etait en 2001 jusken 2003 nous avion fait une demande de resident permanent la procedure est longue et couteuse mais tu peux y rester toute tavie si tu veux et tu prends la nationalite au bout de 3 ans d activites pro.
bref mon ex etait comme toi ingenieur en informatique mais administrateur reseaux il a eu du mal a trouver un job vraiment car les quebecois quand tu vien t isntaller chez eux ont moins acceuillant ke kan tu viens en touriste il fo le savoir.
mais du boulot si cest pas en informatike tu vas en trouver crois moi pas de dematche comme en france tout est simplifier la bas tu commences a bosser et tu peux changer regulierement pas de cdd ni de cdi du genre au lendemain tu peux etre lourder c est le revers de la medaille mais ils embauchent plus sur des criteres de personnalites que sur des dilpomes ca c est bien.
moi a l epoke je n avais aucune specialite j ai travailler comme educatrice de jeunes enfants pas besoin de iplome la ba juste un casier judiciaire vierge et tu vas a RCPEIM c est avenue Papineau a cote du parcLafontaine ils soccupent de te trouver un job la dedans pour ta copine ca pourrait etre pas mal
si vous avez moins de 30 ans demandait le working holidays ca vous permettra de trvailler tous les deux et au canada ils accoredent plus de visa qu en australie ca c est sur tu as tout sur internet et contact l ambassade a paris u canada
sache qu il fit tres froid en hiver ce n est pas une legende mais tu trouveras des fringues la bas tres adaptes et moins cher qu en france pour le logement c est pas evident car montreal est en penurie de logement mais la coloc se fait bocou dans un 1er temp tu as le qaurtier Mont royal rue St denis et outremont qui sont tres sympa.
le cout de la vie pour la nourriture n et pas donner si tu veux bien manger et pour le logement aussi pour le reste c est moins cher mais je te parle dilya5 ans ca a du changer encore.
bon courage dan vos demarches et j espere vous avoir guider un peu mais ta copine pourra reprendre ses etudes demedecine en france apres 1 ou 2 ans passer au canada je te conseille 2 ans ca laisse plus de temps c est un pays magnifique et montreal est sublime tres cosmopolite anime et les gens sont plus ouverts qu en france et pas critik comme chez nous.

Comme dit plus haut il faut être patient pour les démarches administratives sous peine d'être refoule.Pour les diplômes c'est autre chose les diplômes français ne sont pas reconnus au Canada.La profession ingénieurs est réglementées au Canada, donc il est difficile de faire valide ces diplômes français.il faut souvent accepte des emplois sous qualifier pour travailler dans sont domaine.
L'ambassade ne délivre pas de PVT si vous êtes au Canada. Ils sont délivrés dans votre pays de résidence officielle.
Comme touriste, vous pouvez venir pendant 6 mois et non 3. Vous avez le droit de chercher du travail, mais pas de travailler tant que vous n'avez pas votre permis de travail.
