Alors je voulais juste savoir quelques petites choses qui ont surement été dites des dizaines de fois, mais il ya tellement de postes que je n'arrive pas a trouver. Si vous pouviez me répondre ce serait super sympa. Alors:
1- Quand on arrive à l'aéroport, que faut'il faire aux douanes et est ce difficile de la trouver?
2- L'aéroport de Montréal se trouve a combien de temps du centre ville et comment s'y rendre?
3- Est il difficile de trouver un logement et vous semble t'il judicieux de se rendre dans une auberge de jeunesse pour chercher un appart sans vivre dehors (en janvier en plus😕) ?
4- Les agences d'interim sont'elles nombreuses et est ce facile de s'inscrire quand on est pas du quebec?
5- La langue anglaise est'elle fortement implanté?
6- A combien s'éleve les frais de débit bancaire lors d'un retrait avec une mastercard francaise?
7- Délai pour l'obtention de la carte soleil?
8- Je voulais connaitre les quartiers sympas pour vivre a montreal. j'ai entendu parler du plateau (cher), et de rosemont et hampstead vous confirmez?

Euh non, puisqu'il n'y a qu'un seul chemin à utiliser quand tu sors de l'avion 😉 Il faut présenter son passeport et la lettre de l'ambassade pour faire le PVT, ainsi que ta carte de déclaration douanière (on t'en donnera une dans l'avion).
2- L'aéroport de Montréal se trouve a combien de temps du centre ville et comment s'y rendre?
À environ 20-25 min du centre-ville, ça peut aller jusqu'à 1 heure si la circulation est dense. Tu peux y aller en taxi (environ 35$), en autobus, en navette ou en voiture. Voir le site: www.admtl.ca
Les logements ne sont pas très difficiles à trouver, mais éviter de chercher durant l'été, moins de disponibilités. Oui, l'auberge de jeunesse comme solution temporaire parfait.
5- La langue anglaise est'elle fortement implanté?
À Montréal, oui, mais c'est une ville majoritairement francophone. Tout est écrit en français ou dans les deux langues parfois. L'ouest de la ville est surtout anglo.
6- A combien s'éleve les frais de débit bancaire lors d'un retrait avec une mastercard francaise?
Aucune idée! 🤪
7- Délai pour l'obtention de la carte soleil?
En tant pvtiste, tu n'as pas droit à la carte soleil, il te faudra acheter tes propres assurances.
Pour les quartiers:
Fais une recherche sur le forum de Voyage Forum avec des mots clés, cette question a été très souvent répondue avec beaucoup de détails, pas envie de tout retaper! 😉

je sais que ta mille question dans la tete et tu sais pas comment faire une fois que t es la
mais les choses extremement simple.....tu descend de l'aeroport tu suis les gens vers les guichets de douanes on verifie le passeport et tu passe sa prend cinq minutes chrono maximum.. on est pas en france quand meme, et on sait que t as passer les douanes francaises a paris ou a lyon donc tout est en regle.... les bagages on verfie meme pas et en plus ici sont sympa on te recoit avec le sourire et " bienvenu" contrairement a lyon ou j'avais une altercation avc les douaniers parce qu'il y avait le bordel et sa mi bcp de temps l 'avion a mi 45min de retard de lyon....des ke sa decollé sa change tout t es en amerique....
pour l'argent je te conseille de prendre le liquide avec toi et tu change un peu labas avant de venir c plus avantageux, a eviter de changer a l'aeroport c 20% moins que en banque.....tu peux amener jusqu'a 10 000 dollar ya pas de souci au dela il faut declarer...et tu peu ouvrir un compte une fois ke t es la....
ici on laisse personne dehors tu peu trouver un logement facilement et provisoirement un hotel a 2 etoiles a 35 dollar (22 euros) ya pas de probleme et les auberges c partout, une fois sur place tu peu en chercher...
l aero est loin de la ville de 25 km sa prend 20 min en bus qui coute 14 dollar, ou en taxi 35 dollar.
sa depend ou tu veu t installer le chauffeur peu t aider a trouver l endroit, en plus c luivolontier demander a tout les passager ou ils veulent descendre c sympa...j imagine meme pas si sa se fait en france....
bon bref tu peu dcemander d autre explication ya pa de souci j ai adopter l atitude quebecoise et j ai la patience.

Une derniere question: quels sont les meilleurs agences a montreal ou il faut s'inscrire pour trouver du travail une fois sur place??
* Pour le logement je te conseille de chercher une coloc, y en a plusieurs nanas celibataires qui ont des appart et besoin de rechauf vous sortez ensemble et vous partez les frais... sa plaisir a tout le monde n'est ce pas.... tu peux prendre contact par internet sur pls sites de recherche de logement kijiji et autres.
tu vas pas rester dehors t'inkiete... et je pense meme que notre amie haitienne qui t as repondu peut t'heberger sans souci... que pense tu?
* pour le boulot, je ne sais pas si t'as une idee sur ce que tu compte faire ici, mais une fois decider tu auras l'embaras du choix....sur place tu peux trouver facilement et pas la peine de casser la tete des maintenant avec les agences en ligne, parce que souvent il faut que tu sois sur place on voit ta tete et on te dit OK, on donne pas souvent des reponses positives pour les candidatures qui sont encore a l'etranger car on est pas sur de leur motivation, et on vend pas l'ours avant de le tuer comme on dit en France...

Écoute, tout le monde sait qu'au Canada, ce n'est pas les tropiques. Mais sache que 33 millions de personnes y vivent et s'en sortent bien.
Il y a 4 saisons au Canada: l'été, l'automne, l'hiver et le printemps.
L'été il fait chaud, l'automne il fait moins chaud, l'hiver il fait froid et au printemps il fait moins froid! Pas plus compliqué! Tu t'habilles en conséquences et c'est tout, rien de dramatique.
Le plus dur est la fin de l'hiver et quand le printemps tarde à arriver à cause du manque de lumière et de la pluie/verglas.
Je te conseille de t'acheter des bouquins sur l'installation à Montréal (ou Canada, mais attention selon les provinces tout change) il y en a sûrement que tu peux acheter sur le web (amazon.fr). En les lisant tu auras une meilleure idée et tu sauras te préparer adéquatement.

Ok ok merci a tout les deux pour toutes ces reponses je vais donc attendre pour trouver un travail d'etre sur place, car il est vrai que j'avais essayé de m'inscrire par le biais de jobboom ou autre mais a chaque fois le recruteur me répondait qu'il fallait que je sois sur place donc j'avais abandonné l'idée...
Et pour le logement je vois que ca a l'air simple ca me rassure je vais surement opter pour la colocation car c'est le meilleur moyen de s'intégrer et de pouvoir rencontrer du monde et avoir un bon appart pour pas trop cher... Le probleme est que j'arrive en Janvier donc pas a une période ou les logements vacants sont les plus nombreux mais bon je chercherai quand meme...
En tout cas merci bien a tout les 2 pour vos réponses, ca n'a fais que renforcer ma motivation et éclaircir les derniers points obscurs de ce futur grand départ🙂😏😉😉

Damien, pour les colocations je te suggère d'aller dans les universités, il y a des tableaux d'affichages (babillard) avec des annonces d'étudiants à la recherche d'un coloc, tu trouveras forcément. Ce sera aussi une excellente manière de rencontrer des gens et de t'intégrer.

Je suis Français et j’ai 26 ans. J'attends mon visa de résidence permanente pour la fin de l'année 2007, puis je compte m'installer au Québec à Montréal, en Mai 2008.
Je travail à Eurocopter Marignane en France ou j' y suis monteur mécanicien aéronautique depuis presque 7 ans.
J’aurai bien aimé, si tu veux bien, un peu d’aide pour me faciliter les démarches avant le départ et en arrivant à Montréal.
Ma priorité ce serait de trouver un appartement et un travail dans l’aéronautique (Bombardier, Pratt & Witney etc…) en arrivant.
Si tu connais des quartiers sympas et pas trop chers, ainsi que des bonnes entreprises pour travailler, je suis preneur.
