Je suis nouvelle dan ce forum je recherche des infos car je souhaite venir à montréal pour 6 ou 12 mois sûrement par le PVT mais je ne sais pas par où commencer, boulot, logement...
Clair que la priorité, c'est de pouvoir te poser en arrivant, même si c'est provisoire.
C'est assez facile de se loger à Montréal. Tu peux louer des studios meublés au mois, faire de la coloc ou prendre un appart et le meubler mais pour une courte durée, ça vaut pas vraiment le coup.

Une fois installée, tu pourras te consacrer à la recherche de jobs. En arrivant, contacte l'OMI, qui te donnera la marche à suivre et toutes les adresses nécessaires pour avancer.

Dans le dossier PVT, on te demande une attestion bancaire justifiant que tu possèdes 2100 euros, montant correspondant selon l'ambassade à 3 mois de subsistance dans le pays.
Si tu ne fais AUCUN excès, cette somme est suffisante mais tout va dépendre de ta façon de vivre, de ton loyer, prix de la bouffe, des sorties, etc...
Pour les jobines, il y en a, tu en trouveras en moins d'une semaine. Maintenant, dans ton domaine professionnel, tout dépend ( questions d'équivalences des diplômes, domaine très demandé ou non, etc )
Le visa PVT est un visa temporaire. En plus de la difficulté de trouver un job dans sa branche, il faut prouver à l'employeur qu'on a envie de rester au Canada plus d'un an.C'est le principal inconvénient du visa limité dans le temps.
Question argent, je suis arrivée avec 1000 dollars CA en liquide et j'ai ouvert un compte ici ( en une heure, c'est réglé ). Si tu veux transférer de l'argent France/Québec par la suite, utilise le virement international ( ta banque te donnera le code SWIFT )
Sinon, demande à ton conseiller bancaire de te donner la banque correspondante à Montréal, les retraits d'argent avec ta carte française sont gratuits.

Avec mon copain on part dans deux mois pour Montreal dans le cadre du PVT.
Commence par contacter l'ambassade et remplir une demande de permis de travail. Les délais de traitement on été de trois semaines pour nous mais il peuvent être plus long.
Je te conseille de te fixer une date de départ pour pouvoir avancer dans tes démarches.
Nous on s'est laissé trois mois( la durée de notre préavis pour notre logement.On ne pense pas trouver de travail avant notre départ mais les recherches seront aussi faciles sur place. Tout dépend du domaine dans lequel tu recherches.
Une fois qu'on a eu envoyé nos demlandes de permis, les choses se sont faites d'elles même. Il existe de nombreux sites pour se renseigner sur les démarches à faire. Commence par www.amb-canada.fr et www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca

Autre petit conseil de recherche pour un logement à Montreal, va voir sur le site web de www.voir.ca (c'est un journal local) ou il y a plusieurs logement à louer, ici on trouve ca quand même cher mais pour vous ca va vous sembler moins cher que nous vu votre taux de change qui vous avantage quand même! Sur ce site il y a aussi la possibilité de trouver des appart en colocation, mais vous devrez faire affaire avec les locataires, et peut-être que certain voudrons vous rencontrer avant de vous louer naturellement. PVT = programme vacances travail, s'adresse aux français de 18 à 35 ans qui veulent travailler au Canada pour une durée maxi d'un an. C'est un bon compromis avant de demander un visa de résident permanent, qui lui est très long à obtenir et cher.
Pour être orthophoniste, il faut faire partie d'un ordre et c'est auprès de celui-ci qu'il faut te renseigner.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
