Je suis une étudiante québecoise de 21 ans qui aimerais au plus haut point participer à un voyage de type humanitaire à l'étranger à l'été 2008 pour une période de quelques semaines à 2 mois environ pendant mes vacances scolaires. Toutefois, jusqu'ici je n'ai trouvé aucun organisme québecois auquel me joindre et qui pourrait me donner conseil. Peut-être que l'un d'entre vous seraient en mesure de me fournir un peu d'informations pour faire avancer mes recherches. Tout conseil sera le bien venu. Merci à l'avance.

Tu pourrais peut-être contacter l'Association québécoise des organismes de coopération internationale qui regroupe 61 organises québécois. L'adresse internet de cette association est la suivante : www.aqoci.qc.ca.
Toutefois je crois que le recrutement pour plusieurs des projets qui sont parrainés par ces organismes est déjà terminé.
Mais peut-être qu'il y a encore des oportunités de dernières minutes .

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
