Hey everyone reading my post! I’ll be in Mexico, specifically in Playa del Carmen and Tulum, from March 11 to April 2. I’m looking online for things to do, but they all seem pretty similar—I’m after something a bit more original but don’t wanna get ripped off either! If you’ve had any great experiences in those areas, feel free to share them. Thanks in advance!

hi everyone, activities in the Riviera Maya include: *diving *visiting cenotes *exploring Mayan sites like Tulum *water parks like Xel-Há

Just keep in mind that Playa del Carmen is very touristy—if you want to avoid crowds, head to Puerto Morelos instead

Thanks Mathews for your comment! I forgot to mention that I’m looking for excursions. If you have any recommendations or suggestions, don’t hesitate to share them.

I’m really curious to discover new ideas—I’m also super keen on diving.

hi looking for excursions, any tour operator recommendations? You can find them locally. In Cancun there are tons of tour operators in the Hotel Zone and even in the downtown area.

Such a beautiful destination! I know this country really well—I love it. In Playa, you’ll find tons of options for cenotes, Mayan sites, and cities like Mérida, Valladolid, Tulum, and Campeche.... A few islands too: Isla Mujeres, Contoy, and Cozumel. The parks are amazing: Xel-Há, Xcaret, Xavage, ... and if you go to Xcaret, don’t miss the evening show—it’s fantastic. No need to book online. I was just there all of September and will be back for another two weeks at All Saints’ Day. If you need any info, mine’s all up-to-date.
