je tien a vous faire part de mon histoire assez hallucinante que je suis entrain de vivre en se moment en voyage au usa.
recit : je pars avec ma femme a san francisco pour un voyage de 9 jours on se prepare un circuit sur la cote ouest au départ de san francisco jusqu'a LAX puis retour a san francisco.
au bout d'une journée ma femme se sens pas bien et je l'amene a l'hopital et il detecte une sclerose en plaque. ma femme ne peu plus marcher et ne peu plus se servir de la main droite.
je contact le service premier de visa qui m'envoi directement sur europassitance.
je leur explique mes mesaventure. il contact le doc local et se mette dacccord pour traiter ma femme au usa pour 3jours puis retour en france.
etant donné que j'avais prévu un circuit j'annule tous les hotel prévu et la voiture de location ( meme si je me ferais pas tous rembourser).
je trouve un hotel à coté de l'hopital pour etre au pret de ma femme le maximum. ( a me charge biensur europ assitance ne prend pas en charge les frais si c'est durant la période de sejour)
au bout de 3jours , ma femme va mieu et elle est déclarer transportable par le docteur local qui en refere au docteur d'europ assistance.
donc apres de nombreux appel ( plus de 20) je n'ai toujours pas de rappatriement prévue, m femme n'ayant plus de traitement attend depuis 2jours à l'hopital, et europ assistance vien de m'appeler apres que je l'es harceler pour me dire qu'il on reservé un billet d'avion dans le meme avion que je devrais prendre pour mon retour soit encore 1journée à attendre en supplément.
donc je me retouve à l'hopital avec ma femme sans hotel a attendre le lendemain mon vol de retour prévue normalement.
je suis pas du tout satisfait de la prestation, sachant que j'arrete pas de les appeler je fais meme la liaison entre europ assitance france et europ assistance usa et l'hopital car l'hopital ne veu traiter que avec europ assistance usa.
que puis-je faire pour me sortir de cette situation.
Je suis auss étonnée qu'on a déjà donné un diagnostique de sclerose en plaques. C'est une maladie qui n'est pas pas facile à détecter. Est-ce qu'on lui a fait un IRM avec contrast ?

merci jai trouver un hotel pres de l'aeroport on y est aller en taxi au moins on visite un peu car on a fait que 1 jours de visite le premier jour de notre voyage.
j'ai europassistance qui m'a appeler 3 fois. 1 fois me me demander mes info passeport, ce qui m'a enerver car j'ai deja un billet d'avion pour ce vol.......
et les deux autres fois j'ai eu la responsable du service permanence qui est venu s'escuser car elle écouter tous les appels et elle ne comprend pas pourquoi j'ai pas eu d'avion ce jour...

en faite a mon avis :
j'ai un billet sur la compagnie xl airways qui est a 400euro pour demain le passé en classe affaire coute que 400euro de plus alors que prendre un billet sur air france pour ce jour c'est 5000euro.
a mon avis c'est la le vrai probleme.
il me dise que non mais il y a bien 3 vol air france pour paris chaque jour et il ne m'ont meme pas trouver deux place meme en eco....
de toute facon en rentrant je fais faire un courrier salé

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...
