Alors voilà, je me présente, je m'appelle Maïssa, je vais sur mes 20ans et je souhaite partir m'installer aux Etats Unis avec une amie âgée de 23ans, pendant une durée d'un an et un peu plus.
Je sais que ce n'ai pas du tout évident de partir comme ca, de plus que je n'ai malheuresement aucun diplôme (suite à des soucis de santé) hors mis le BAFA ( Brevet d'Aptitudes aux Fonctions d'Animateur). Dailleurs à ce propos j'aurais voulu savoir si ce diplome est reconnu làbas au même titre qu'ici en France?
Une autre question: Concernant la demande de visa, je ne sais pas exactement qu'elle type de visa nous devons demander?
Car j'ai l'impression que ceux présentés sur le site de l'embassade des Etats-Unis ne correspondent pas vraiment à ce que nous recherchons.
Nous souhaitons partir s'installer, travailler et visiter le pays. Ce n'ai pas simple, mais nous sommes motivées.
J'ai lu dans certaines discussions que les diplômes étaient indispensables pour pouvoir travailler.
Même pour travailler en tant que serveuse dans un fast-food ou un restaurant ?

on ne donnera jamais un visa pour venir occuper un poste tel que celui-ci car il y a des milliers
d'américains qui peuvent le faire.
je te conseille de venir faire un voyage de reconnaissance prendre la température du pays et revenir par la suite, car une installation coûte cher très cher même.
fais des économies et vois par la suite,
peut être que l'Australie sera moins difficile au niveau visa.

Pour serveurs et travailler dans un fast food, ils n'ont certainement pas besoin d'étrangers, puisque comme on te l'a dit, des milliers d'Américains oeuvent faire ce boulot. Les États-Unis, c'est surtout pour les gens ayant des champs de compétences spécialisés et des diplômes de haut niveau (license et même plus).
Il existe quand même des programmes, BenNY pourra t'en dire davantage. Il faudra regarder du côté des visas J-1.
Il y a par exemple le programme Disney qui recrute des étrangers pour travailler à Orlando.
Dans tous les cas, pour aller là-bas, il faut trouver un employeur qui t'embauche avant de venir aux États-Unis.

Tu peux faire "au pair" sinon, tu es jeune ben voilà; sinon tu peux tjs reprendre tes études (c tjs utile je crois) et plus tard à partir de bac+3 je crois tu recherches une fac qui fait un échange avec une univ US, tant qu'on a moins de 25ans y a plein de combines, faut fouiner un peu sur le net; fouiner sur le net est une qualité appréciée partout aussi je crois, histoire qu'on dise que "tu es au courant" surtout que tu n'as que 20ans, faut être ouverte et curieuse;
sinon y a des organismes privés au pair qui peuvent t'aider.
Pour débuter, y a aussi des camps de vacances où justement tu t'occupes de gamins pendant l"été histoire que tu aies un aperçu, un bafa est apprécié je crois mais faut que tu le passes en France au préalable, pas forcément besoin de parler anglais couremment car des fois ce sont des tâches genre "administratives" ou "faire la vaisselle".
Allez un peu de curiosité....mets des annonces sur des sites américaines par ex. ou va à l'église américaine pour se renseigner, y a pas mal de petites annonces sur place

Attention, travailler comme fille au pair, c'est très difficile! On ne fait pas ça uniquement pour obtenir un visa, ni juste parce qu'on n'a pas d'autres "option". Si ça ne t'intéresse pas plus qu'il faut, tu seras vite malheureuse et tu ne pourras plus supporter d'être là-bas.
J'aime bien ce que la personne juste en haut t'as dit, il faut apprendre à être un peu plus curieuse et être capable de chercher sur le net, on oublie souvent qu'internet est une mine d'infos, encore faut-il être capable de s'y promener 😉

Merci bcp pour tes conseils mais malheuresement je ne crains que ce ne soit guère facile de reprendre mes études, car j'ai encore quelques soucis de santé, pas très gravissimes mais très génant pour les études. C'est la raison pour laquelle j'opterais, malgré le fait que ce soit difficile, pour un emploi à plein temps sans qualification exigée. Fille "au pair" m'interresse, j'ai une certaine expérience avec les enfants, j'ai beaucoup travaillé avec eux, en centres de loisirs, vancances et gardes d'enfants.
Je sais que je suis jeune, et c'est justement pour cette raison que je voudrais en profiter! je ne me vois pas tout quitter et partir à 28 ans.
Pensez vous qu'au Canada il est peut être plus facile de s'y installer? (C'était mon objectif de départ)

Non, ce n'est pas facile au Canada non plus, sans diplômes c'est difficile d'immigrer...
mais pour y vivre temporairement, tu peux faire le programme vacances-travail, le visa dure 1 an et n'est pas renouvelable. C'est un moyen de découvrir le pays en faisant des petits boulots...
Il y a plusieurs discussions à ce sujet sur le forum, fouille un peu tu trouveras pas mal d'infos.

tu poses des questions tellement facile à glâner sur le net (en cherchant pas en demandant sur des forums) comme "mais ou faut il demander ce visa ? et comment s'apelle t'il ?"
La 1ère chose à laquelle tu dois penser si tu souhaites te rendre dans un pays que ce soit pr tourisme ou autre c'est aller sur le site de l'ambassade de ce pays, c'est le B.A.BA je pense.
tu tapes dans un moteur de recherche "types de visa pour canada" et tu auras plein de réponses de sites différents;
A 20 ans il faut que tu grandisses un peu
ne prends pas mal ce que je te dis surtout. Et puis comme l'a dis Nikky il faut d'abord bien réfléchir et mûrir ton projet avant de lancer comme ça "je veux aller à tel endroit comment fait-on?"
Ce n'est pas la peine de s'acharner ainsi sur moi, je posais ces questions parce que je pensais que vous aviez l'air de connaitre pas mal de choses à ce sujet alors j'en ai profiter.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
