Mon ami et moi projetons de partir en Guadeloupe, lui est moniteur de Kayak mer (donc facile pour l'emploi) moi j'ai plutôt un profil, d'assistante bilingue ou commerciale bref... Je me demandais comment se passait la vie là bas notament à Sainte Anne là ou nous avons prévu d'aller, si pour que je trouve un emploi il me faudra du temps ou non...Si la vie est chère ainsi que toutes les petites astuces et tuyaux que vous pourrez me donner, j'ai très envie d'aller là bas je sais que les gens sont adorables alors pourquoi pas !

Et surtout j'ai oublié de vous demander comment se loger au moins cher pourune longue période, peut être avez vous des adresses de sites car je ne trouve pas grand chose sur le net encore et savoir combien coutait le loyer d'une petite maison dans les environs de sainte anne!

J'ai vécu 5 ans en Guadeloupe et j'en suis revenu il y a déjà 10 ans ( je suis maintenant en Martinique )
Je pourrais donc la jouer "ancien combattant"...:) et te donner 10000 conseils.
Je ne t'en donnerai qu'un seul: commence par aller sur place avec ton ami en vacances, quelques semaines si tu peux, pour voir, prospecter, rencontrer, découvrir, apprendre, prendre des contacts pour la suite, si suite il y a.
Cà vous évitera de partir avec des idées toute faites, souvent avec le petit bout de la lorgnette, et de faire peut-être des erreurs que vous regretteriez ensuite si vous lâchez tout en métropole.

Depuis tous ces morts dans leur voilier à St Martin pendant le cyclone Maryline, et dont personne n'a parlé ...je me pose sérieusement la question de savoir si les médias ne sont pas muselés à dessein concernant tout ce qui touche à la plaisance.
D'autre part, il est vrai que dans l'imaginaire populaire avoir un voilier est synonyme de richesse.....donc pourquoi se lamenter sur le sort de personnes qui "vivent comme des nababs sur leur yacht !!".......il vaut mieux verser sur une larme sur lcelui des crétins qui s'approchent des rivages pour faire la photo du siècle...une mer en furie pendant un cyclone, et qui y laissent leur peau.........çà c'est vendeur, et les médias ce qu'ils veulent c'est vendre leur soupe.
Pour te consoler.....tu sais entre G. et M. c'est même bitin, même bagaille....
A part çà, je ne fais pas grand chose... je surfe sur le net........

Je suis monté à Marigot après Luis, effectivement, on parle de 1100 morts là-bas ( gens pas déclarés, haïtiens clandestins, plaisanciers de passage, etc...)

prochainement. Nous avons des amis sur place mais d'autres conseils seront les bienvenus. Nous avons commencé
par nous installer au Maroc mais ce n'était malheureusement pas une bonne idée, en tous cas pour nous, pas en
raison de la population, loin de là, mais des différences de culture (même en étant très ouvert ce n'est pas simple)
mais surtout du climat qui nous laisse encore des hivers et un océan un peu frais !!!!!!!!
Cettte fois ci nous allons être plus prudents et souhaitons louer pendant 6 mois, voir plus avant d'investir, le
temps de trouver nos marques.
C'est vrai que le prix de l'immobilier n'est pas le même qu'au Maroc et nous envisageons peut être de faire construire
(nous sommes encore jeunes !!!!!!!!) Quel est votre avis à ce sujet ???

salut Aurore, Ste anne est finalement très petit comme toute la guadeloupe, et tout le monde se connait. Donc le meilleur plan pour le taf, c'est d'avoir une aide perso !! Ce qui est très difficile. A ste anne, il y a la générale de eaux, des locations de voiture.......et puis pour le reste, pas grand chose !!
A mon avis, tu trouveras dans un premier temps que du taf à Jarry, baie mahault, , et donc la voiture est nécessaire. La vie est chère, il faut juste savoir multiplier ses achats dans différents magasins (leadel pour les produits ménagers, le marché du jeudi soir au stade de ste anne pour les fruits et légumes........etc), et finalement on s'y retrouve. A eviter le plus possible Carrefour, pour ne pas éclater le budget.
quant aux gens, adorables oui, mais attention quand même au cliché ile paradisiaque. Le mieux étant d'y aller au moins 1 mois, et de voir sur place !!

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
