Je me permets de faire appel à vos connaissances concernant le Maroc et la rémunération des enseignants!
Voilà, j'ai passé un entretien d'embauche en video conférence pour aller enseigner le français langue étrangère au Maroc dans la ville de Beni Mellal! Le contrat durerait un an! Or il propose de me payer 5000 dirhams (dont 2000 iront pour la location d'un appartement en colocation (qu'ils ont déjà choisi) et 3000 pour moi afin que je puisse vivre (manger, payer les transports). Or, on m'a dit que ce salaire de 3000 dirhams était difficile pour vivre dans une grande ville comme Casablanca par exemple mais correcte pour vivre dans une petite ville comme Beni Mellal! Quelqu'un pourrait il m'éclairer à ce sujet car 3000 dirhams font 268 euros!!!
Ce serait pour travailler 39 heures par semaine! Cela en vaut-il la peine????

En fait ce sont les 2.000 dirhams pour une colocation qui sont monstrueux.
Si les 5.000 dirhams sont net, cela représente un salaire d'un professeur de collège, ou d'un instituteur en fin de carrière. Pour un professeur étranger, cela semble un peu faible, mais tu n'es pas non plus, manifestement, embauchée à Lyautey ou dans un établissement Osui / AEFE.
Ce n'est pas beaucoup comme salaire, effectivement, mais tu es sur Beni Mellal. Sur Casa, ce serait mission impossible, sur Beni Mellal, en vivant "à la marocaine", tu peux t'en tirer mais sans faire d'économies.
La durée légale du travail est de 42 heures semaine au Maroc.
Cela en vaut il la peine ? A toi de voir ce que tu attends de l'expérience
(et fais attention à avoir réellement un contrat de travail officiel, et à ne pas être payée au black, avec les risques que cela comporte).
oui en effet, j'en ai entendu parlé de ce paiement au black! Ce qui m'a interloqué aussi est que l'employeur ma dit qu'il me paierait en billets!! Sur le coup, je lui ai demandé : "mais je serai déclarée n'est-ce pas?" il m'a répondu: "oui bien-sûr mais au Maroc on paie souvent en billets tout en déclarant les gens"! Ce serait pour travailler au centre de langues "universal-sup" de Beni Mellal. Comment être sûr que l'on me fera signer un contrat officiel au Maroc?

Il est exact qu'on paye souvent les gens en liquide.
Comment être sûre ? En l'exigeant et le signant avant de partir... attention car contrat de travail -> autorisation d'embauche d'un étranger -> formalités avec dépôt de dossier au Ministère du Travail, il y en a pour au moins un mois, le plus souvent deux ou trois.
Ils te demandent de bosser 39h par semaine ? Tu vas enseigner 39h par semaine ? C'est de la pure folie, voire de l'esclavage. Tu vas préparer les leçons et faire toute leur bureucratie quand ? Cela va te faire une bonne cinquantaine d'heures par semaine de surcroît pour des clopinettes. Ici (en Pologne) le temps de travail pour un enseignant à plein temps est de 18h par semaine, et je crois qu'en France c'est à peu près identique car justement en comptant la préparation des cours, la paperasserie et les réunions imposées par l'école, on arrive vite à 35-40 h par semaine. De plus, si tu as déjà enseigné, tu sais que c'est un métier extrêmement crevant car il faut s'occuper des élèves de la première à la dernière seconde du cours. Ce n'est pas comme bosser dans un bureau où l'on peut faire des pauses café ou Internet, par ex.
Avant de quitter tout en France, mets tout au clair, non seulement salaire mais aussi conditions de travail et de logement. Ne pars pas avant que tout ne soit limpide. Aussi fais des recherches sur le net à leur sujet, et peut-être même contacte le consulat français pour voir s'il n'y a pas eu de plaintes contre eux vu qu'ils recrutent des Français. S'ils restent dans le vague en promettant monts et merveilles, il faudra comprendre qu'il vaut mieux laisser tomber.
De toute façon, que ce soit au Maroc, en France ou ailleurs, on ne doit accepter que lorsque tout est clair et noir sur blanc.

C'est clairement totalement illégal (donc risqué en cas de vrai problème), au black et donc sans aucune certitude d'être régularisée ensuite.

J'avais bien compris... je faisais juste la comparaison des 39 heures hebdomadaires pour 5000 dirhams / mois (le logement doit quand même être compté), par rapport aux 2.250 dirhams de smic pour 42 heures hebdomadaires de travail qui est la "norme" au Maroc.

Je ne connais pas le Maroc mais je lis régulièrement des profs de FLE ou d'ESL, par ex, dans des galères pas possibles (aussi sur ce forum) dans des pays comme le Maroc, l'Inde, pour ne citer qu'eux. En effet, leurs conditions sont risquées et il est fort probable qu'au bout de 3 mois d'essai, ils te diront que tu ne leur conviens pas et tu seras contrainte de quitter le pays au plus vite car pas en règle et te retrouveras en France sans rien.
Déjà, tu les as trouvés comment ? Par une annonce sur le net ? Essaie de faire recherches sur le net pour voir commentaires d'anciens profs, de parents. Les gens pas satisfaits le font savoir. De plus, peut-être tu pourrais demander au consulat (français au Maroc) si les conditions sont légales et dans le cas où l'école serait louche, ils te le diront. Il serait intéressant de savoir quel est le turnover de profs dans cette école.
Il est rassurant que tu viennes sur ce forum et exposes tes hésitations et que tu ne partes pas tête baissée vers l'inconnu.

Essaie de faire comme je t'ai dit, fais recherches sur le net et aussi contacte le consulat de France. Si le consulat te dit, comme te le dit le forumeur vivant au Maroc, que l'école fait dans l'illégalité, laisse tomber car cela n'annoncera rien de bon. Si ça se trouve, ils ne gardent les gens que 3 mois (donc 3 profs par an par matière ou cours) de façon à éviter la paperasserie et surtout pour payer moins cher. Tu dis qu'en étant en période d'essai de 3 mois, l'assurance maladie serait à ta charge et donc j'en suis arrivée à penser qu'ils ne prennent les gens que 3 mois. Tu sais, je suis dans l'expatriation (plusieurs pays) depuis environ 30 ans, suis dans le FLE et l'ESL alors tu peux me croire que j'en ai vu de toutes les couleurs. Quant aux salaires payés en liquide, cela se fait dans les pays où les gens n'ont pas de comptes bancaires (y compris en Pologne puisque 50% des gens n'ont pas de comptes bancaires) mais il est presque sûr qu'en payant en liquide, l'employeur ne déclare pas la totalité du salaire (très fréquent ici alors au Maroc !!!!) et donc pour la retraite, les congés maladie....
En relisant ton message, je comprends qu'en fait, ils veulent te faire bosser 3 mois sans autorisation adminitrative et qui dit qu'ils te verseront salaire ? Je soupçonne qu'ils ne prennent que des profs pour 3 mois.

La répétitivité des offres, d'ailleurs, doit conduire à se poser des questions. Est il réellement "si" difficile que cela de trouver des professeurs sur place ?
tout-à-fait : pourquoi chercher à recruter par de tels moyens ? Pourquoi pas sur place (vu le nombre d'expat' français sur Casa et région, en recherche d'emploi) ?

C'est tout à fait honorable de mettre en garde des personnes contre des personnes malveillantes mais ne nous connaissant pas, je vous serai gré d'arrêter d'insinuer des choses qui ne sont pas vraies pour notre compte.
Comme déjà expliqué auparavant, nous ne sommes pas des charlatans et avons pour objectif de monter la qualité de notre établissement par des formations continues en terme de pédagogie, de psychologie et d'informatique. Nous recherchons également des personnes soit locales soit extérieures au Maroc qui pourraient nous aider à accomplir notre but.

Mais justement parce qu'on vous ne connait pas, on ne peut pas dire non plus que vous êtes des gens extraordinaires.
Le problème en faisant du recrutement sur un forum non dédié, c'est que justement (une fois de plus), chacun a le droit de s'exprimer.
Les personnes avec qui je n'ai jamais pu faire aboutir "mon" contrat de travail en bonne et due forme n'étaient pas non plus des charlatans, ni malveillants, et ils visaient aussi une qualité d'enseignement. Mais vous savez mieux que nous que pour faire fonctionner une école privée, il faut rentrer des inscriptions ; et pour faire rentrer des inscriptions, il faut vanter l'école ; que pour vanter l'école, rien de mieux que recruter des enseignants étrangers (gage de qualité pédagogique). Et vous savez aussi très bien que le recrutement d'étrangers est particulièrement compliqué au Maroc. D'où ma mise en garde auprès des éventuels intéressés sur les conditions de contrats de travail qui finissent généralement par laisser le candidat sur le carreau, à un moment où un autre.
Je suis loin, très loin d'être la seule à en avoir fait l'expérience.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
