Cette année, j'aimerais partir un an en Australie pour aller étudier l'anglais. Je souhaite partir avec l'organisation E*L (censuré volontairement au cas où), les destinations qui m'intéressent le plus sont Byron Bay et Noosa.
J'étais d'abord partante pour Byron Bay car c'est une petite ville et que je n'aime pas les endroits trop peuplé. Les photos m'ont par ailleurs beaucoup plu.
Mais après avoir fait quelques recherches, j'ai pu voir que beaucoup de personnes disaient que rester trop longtemps à Byron Bay était ennuyeux.
Du coup, j'ai cherché dans mon catalogue, une autre destination dont la nature a une grande place et j'ai trouvé Noosa. Mais je ne trouve pas assez d'avis sur ce lieu.
C'est pourquoi je m'adresse à vous, si quelqu'un peut me conseiller ou me renseigner sur ces destinations, me donner des avis etc. je serai très ravie et vous en remercie d'avance ! :)
Je suis une fille de 21 ans, je n'ai jamais surfé de ma vie. J'aime beaucoup la nature et les animaux et recherche un lieu où je peux en profiter et être éblouie.

Byron Bay est vraiment géniale. Je n'y suis restée que 4 jours en septembre dernier. Il y a énormément de backpackers, c'est toujours animé, très "easy-going" (tu rentres en tongs de plage en boîte et dans les bars...). Tu peux y surfer sans problème et les environs sont magnifiques. Suivant la période, tu peux voir les baleines (j'en ai vu fin septembre) et il y avait également les dauphins. Il y a une rue principale avec boutiques, restaurants, bars, agences de voyages. Il n'y a qu'un seul centre commercial (si mes souvenirs sont bons...). Cependant, je ne pense pas que j'y resterais plus de quelques semaines car tu risquerais de t'ennuyer. Byron Bay est bien entendu un endroit à connaître, mais personnellement pas pour un séjour linguistique de quelques mois.
Concernant Noosa, je ne peux malheureusement pas t'aider car je ne connais pas.
Pour info, j'ai fait un séjour linguistique à Perth pendant 3 mois et j'ai adoré, même si c'est une "grande" ville. J'ai pu faire des week-ends prolongés au sud et au nord de Perth. Les paysages sont magnifiques, très différents et la faune y est variée. Et aucun problème pour le surf. (j'ai vu que l'organisation avec laquelle tu veux partir propose également une école à Fremantle, ça peut être une solution. La ville est plus petite et seulement à quelques dizaines de km de Perth)
Est-ce que tu vas également voyager ou seulement faire un séjour linguistique ?

Sinon non, je ne pense pas pouvoir vraiment voyager, j'y vais avant tout pour les cours. D'ailleurs je serai en cours intensif donc.. :/
Merci de m'avoir parlé d'autres villes, je viens de regarder des photos de Fremantle sur Google. C'est jolie en effet, mais je ne me vois malheureusement pas là-bas car ça fait très "ville" à mes yeux :(
J'ai regardé de nouveau Noosa et Byron Bay, je penche de plus en plus pour Noosa, je vais attendre encore un peu pour voir si je peux avoir des avis sur cet endroit pis me décider.
J'ai pour ma part passé près de 9 mois en Australie dont la majorité dans la région de Palmwoods-Mooloolaba. C'est une zone à 1h30-2h de Noosa donc on y est monté en voiture deux fois: une fois pour la plage et une autre fois pour le parc protégé qui longe la côte.
La première fois on y a passé un super moment, la plage été immense, on a passé l'après midi dans l'eau car elle était à température de bain, c'était génial! C'était au mois de Mars.
Puis on y est retourné pour la randonnée au mois de Juin, et comme il commençait à faire un peu frais, on s'est pas baigné mais la "randonnée" (tongs et paréo c'est très bien) était magnifique et vraiment destressante: le sentier longe la côte dans les odeurs d'eucalyptus et avec de la chance tu verras des koalas.
Ce que j'en retiens c'est qu'il n'y a pas grand chose à faire là-bas. L'ambiance est plutôt balnéaire et les boutiques clairement orientées touristes. La ville est très très étendue donc heureusement que tu as les bus, mais pas forcément pratique. Je ne l'ai pas trouvé particulièrement belle, assez "dormante".
Par contre, je te conseillerai vraiment d'aller dans le coin où j'étais!
J'ai habité en tant que fille au pair pendant 6-7 mois à Palmwoods. C'est une toute petite ville vraiment typique et campagnarde. La famille me prêtait une voiture et avec celle-ci j'avais:
- la montage à 30min avec randonnées magnifiques
- la plage à 20min avec grosses vagues pour le surf et puis tout ce que propose mooloolaba et maroochydore càd centre commerciaux, petits commerces pour le poisson par ex
- Brisbane à 2h
Sur place tu as de nombreuses possibilités de rando à cheval, il y a l'université du Queensland avec des formules de remise à niveau et d'apprentissage de l'anglais, plusieurs diplomes internationaux et surtout une population étudiante venant du monde entier avec beaucoup d'opportunité de partage et de voyages futurs!

Ohh ton avis sur la ville où tu étais est des plus plaisante, malheureusement mon organisme ne propose pas les toutes petites villes typiques (c'est d'ailleurs dommage à mon goût !), mais je le note au cas où j'aurais la chance de bouger ^^
Tu es donc allée à Noosa alors... j'aurais quelques questions si ça ne te dérange pas !
J'aimerais savoir s'il y a beaucoup de monde, de foules, de touristes etc... puis si c'est plus urbain que montre les photos s'il te plaît :)
Noosa est une station balnéaire, donc très touristique. Les plages les plus accessibles sont bondées lorsqu'il fait beau. Mais ce n'est pas une grande ville avec gratte-ciels and co. Les bâtiments les plus élevés sont les hôtels donc environ 5 étages maximums, c'est une ville moyenne je dirais.
Ce qui est joli par contre c'est que c'est très étendu et découpé par des canaux avec des petits ponts, beaucoup de voiliers, de petits bateaux donc tu as accès à pas mal de sports nautiques et aussi au surf sur les plages concernées.
Encore merci ! En prenant compte de vos avis et après avoir regardé des vidéos sur les villes, je me suis enfin décidée et j'ai choisi Noosa.
