Il n'existe pas de visa "retraite" au VN comme en Thailande. Actuellement, il est possible d'obtenir un visa de tourisme de 3 mois avec simple entree ou de 1 mois avec multiple entree.
Il existe egalement les visa "business" qui peuvent etre obtenus si on cree une entreprise au VN. Je ne connais pas exactement les durees et modalites, apres plusieurs demandes, j'ai eu autant de reponses differentes.😕
Il y a egalement le visa "travail", pour ceux qui travaillent pour une entreprise vietnamienne et ont, partant, un permis de travail. Le visa est etabli pour la duree du contrat de travail.
Pour le renouvellement du visa "touriste" de 3 mois, il faut sortir du pays et rentrer a nouveau avec un nouveau visa.
Je pense, comme beaucoup d'expats ici, que les choses vont encore changer d'ici quelques mois, mais pour le moment, c'est un peu la galere pour tout le monde.
t'installer au VN pour la retraite n'est pas si aise que ca parait....

mais si tu acceptes ca, pourquoi pas (moi j'ai pas le choix, je DOIS vivre au VN pour raison familiale)

Pour le moment, j'ai un visa qui court jusqu'au 14 janvier 2010, donc je ne me suis pas encore pose SERIEUSEMENT la question. D'autre part, j'ai hesite a rentrer en Belgique a la fin de cette annee, donc j'avais postpose le probleme (j'aime bien postposer, ca m'evite de me prendre la tete). 😉

Pour ma part, depuis 10 ans, je passe 6 mois par an au Vietnam comme volontaire dans un petit village pauvre. Jusqu'à présent, aucun problème pour le visa. Cette année, bouleversement : ils m'ont donné un visa business 3 mois (C3). Je viens de demander le renouvellement, réponse : pas possible de renouveller un C3. Une seule solution : partir quelques jours au Laos ou au Cambodge et y faire une nouvelle demande. Hier soir, une de mes relations vietnamiennes m'a appelé pour me donner un tuyau. Je passe sur les détails, mais pour trois mois supp, je vais payer 165 USD !! Récemment, un article est sorti dans la presse locale expliquant que rien n'est changé sur la loi des visas, mais que maintenant la loi était appliquée. Pourquoi ? Extrait de l'article : Avec 52 crimes et délits incluant 16 trafics de drogue, 16 cas de fraude impliquant 127 étrangers, la police de l'immigration à décidé de frapper fort. Nous sommes désolés, mais pour ces faits, tous les étrangers vont payer le prix fort ..........
Je ne suis pas étonné de celà quand je vois le comportement scandaleux et irresponsable de certains visiteurs qui confondent Vietnam et parc d'attraction. Je comprends la réaction des vietnamiens qui nous accueillent dans leur beau pays.
je voulais répondre à vos soucis de visas , car moi même j'ai besoin de rester quelque temps au VN.
Je parle pour les Viet Kieu qui ont un visa de 5ans , multi entrées .
Vous pouvez rester 3 mois au VN , mais ce délai passé vous devez aller au 110 Nguyen Du Quan 1 TP Ho Chi Minh , pour vous faire proroger votre délai de séjour , moyennant 20 euros. Bien sûr il faut renouveler cette demande tous les 3 mois jusqu'à la fin de votre visa. Après il faut rentrer en France redemander un autre visa.
Pour les comptes bancaires , vous pouvez ouvrir un compte bancaire courant (rémunéré, très faiblement) en euros et retirer des euros que vous pouvez aller échanger ailleurs, plus intéressant que à la banque.
Par contre vous ne pouvez pas ouvrir un compte à terme , les intérêts sont très intéressants.
Vous pouvez faire virer vos fonds par vos enfants ou amis restant en France. Je le fais tous les mois pour mes besoins personnels. L'alimentation de mon compte bancaire en France se fait normalement par la voie habituelle. Surtout il faut garder un compte bancaire en France.
Vous avez la possibilité d'acheter (sans obligation d'avoir un business) un appartement (pas une maison ou un terrain). Faites très attention, le titre de propriété d'un terrain , d'une maison= " quyê`n xu*? du.ng " , je croyais bêtement que c'est le droit de l'utiliser , d'y habiter, ne le signer jamais, c'est une donation en bonne et due forme .
Les prix flambent à Saigon , l'immobilier est plus cher qu'en France .
Pour les gens des autres nationalités , je ne sais pas.
Il est vrai qu'avec notre faible pension , en France nous avons du mal à boucler les fins de mois .
Si vous avez d'autres questions , n'hésitez pas , je retourne au VN bientôt , les lois changent tous les jours en faveur des Viet Kieu .
