Pour ce qui est de l'Asie, je n'y suis jamais allée. Mais j'aimerai me rendre en Inde fin de cette année. Donc si qqn a des infos, n'hésitez pas!!! J'ai entendu parler des Soeurs de la Charité à Calcutta, en Inde. Il y a des chantiers organisé par SCI, les Compagnons batisseurs, Soeurs Emmanuelle, JAVVA, QUINOA... Si tu tappe quelques mots clés sur google, tu auras quelques infos! Dans ce forum, il y a pas mal d'infos aussi.

Je suis partie 6 mois en Bolivie. je suis partie avec AFS, quio est une ortganisation de jeunesse internationale qui envoie des étudiants refaire leur dernière année à l'étranger ainsi que des volontaires popur 6 mois.
j'étais hébergée dans une famille bolivienne (logée, nourrie et blanchie). J'ai choisi le secteur de l'enfance. J'ai donc travaillé dans un centre pour enfants des rues et un foyer pour enfants. Le premier centre est géré par une ong bolivienne qui est soutenue financièrement (en partie) par une association, ici, en Belgique. Le centre s'appelle "El RRefugio". Il est situé à tarija dans le sud de la Bolive. Il accepte volontier des volontaire. Une particularité au niveau manuel, artistique ou sportif est vivement souhaitée afin d'occuper les jeunes. Ces jeunes sont principalement des garçons agés de 6 à -+17 ans. Ce ne sont pas des enfants des rues. Le centre est plutot une solution préventive. Pendant qu'ils sont là, ils ne sont pas dans la rue! L'équipe du centre est composé d'un éducateur, d'une psy, d'un prof de gym, d'une prof, d'une infirmière. Il ne faut pas s'attendre à une structure organisée!!!
Le foyer pour enfants est géré par des Soeurs. Il accueille 59 enfants de 0 à 18 ans. Ces enfnat s sont orphelints, abandonnés ret ou maltraités. Il est chouette, pour eux, d'y venir avec dees activités. Même, s'ils sont déjà très heureux de notre présence. Le centre s'appelle "Hogar Melvin Jones" et se situe aussi à Tarija. Il accueille des volontaire. Mais pour y entrer, il faut passer par le service social de la ville (Gestion social).

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
