Cela fait plus de vingt ans que je suis attiré par ce pays, et j'espère concrétiser mon rêve d'aller m'installer sur place d'ici peu.
Je cherche des personnes qui ont déjà fait cette expérience et/ou qui vivent toujours sur place en ce moment.

Je suis Belge et voudrais m'installer en dehors de l'Europe. J'ai une opportunité pour le Maroc.
Ex pat veut dire que l'on n'est pas né dans la culture du pays dans laquelle on ira s'installer.
Ex pat veut dire que tu vis dans une culture qui n'est pas la tienne, et que tu dois respecter. Dans ma perception il est utile de rencontrer d'autres personnes qui sont dans ton cas et qui peuvent t'aider à "t'adapter" à la vie locale.
Quoi que ma meilleure amie depuis plus de vingt ans est Marocaine et que je connais toute sa famille, dans laquelle je suis accepté, je suis conscient que certaines choses ne seront pas toujours facile sur place.

il faudrait d abord que tu nous indique ce que sont tes competences et ce que tu reherches comme type de travail et quel niveau de salaire tu desires obtenir!
car pour vivre correctement, au maroc, avec une ptite famille il te faut au minimum 2500euros/mois.
A moins d'être dans une ville type Marrakech ou autre lieu du même acabit (Essaouira ou Mohamedia), je pense qu'on peut vivre royalement avec sa petite famille pour moins de 2500€, ce qui représente tout de même 20 fois le salaire basique d'un marocain.
Il faut être raisonnable et savoir que l'on vit confortablement et plus encore, à quatre, et avec moins de 1000€ par mois. Pour exemple, une de mes amies, retraitée et installée dans la région de Safi et qui vit confortablement, en ayant acheté sa maison, avec moins de 700€/mois, en ayant une femme de ménage-cuisinière et un chauffeur-jardinier à mi temps.
Dans la famille de ma femme, ou nous résidons assez souvent, le budget global, mensuel et de moins de 500€ pour 8 personnes dont 3 enfants, tout confondu. C'est vrai que c'est à Oujda et que dans une ville touristique ce doit être différent.
Mais en France, si l'on veut vivre à Paris 16e ou à St-Tropez, il faut aussi un revenu minimum de 10000€/mois. Sachons relativiser et redescendons sur terre.

salut, ce que tu dis est vrais, avec 5000dh et avoir son logement cad ne pas payer de loyer, une famille de deux personne peut vivre très bien, mais aussi il faut s' éloigner des grandes villes, ou il y a plus de tentation et des dépenses superflu;à bientôt.
Je confirme, avec un loyer de 8000 dh à 5 pers il faut 25000 dh pour vivre à l'aise, enfants scolarisés en école française reviens chère.
La vie avec une famille, si l'on veut bouger un peu, n'ai pas comparable avec des retraités.
Se nourrir ne coute pas chère à 2.
Il faut arrèter de vous berner avec des chiffres sur le coût de la vie au Maroc !
Seul le poste "nourriture" est nettement moins élevé qu'en Europe, quoique certains pestent contre le prix du camembert (40 à 60 dh) ou de la rosette de Lyon à Marjane (dépenses non obligatoires, mais ca remplace pour certains les antidepresseurs!).
Si l'on veut vivre avec un standing proche de celui qu'on a en Europe, et dont peu de gens peuvent se séparer, on doit considérér que, tout postes compris, logement, charges (surtout électricité), véhicule, protection sociale, scolarité des enfants, sans luxe, l'économie est de 10 à 15 % maximum, ce qui permet tout juste les retours annuels dans les familles restées au froid.
Une personne seule, sans loyer, peut vivre décemment avec 700 euros, en comptant de près ! sans véhicule .
Et si son personnel (chauffeur (de quoi ?) à mi temps, et sa Fatima sont rétribués de facon légale, cela représente déja une dépense de 250 euros environ ! permettez moi donc de douter !

salut snooky, je ne fais que répondre à notre ami, qui a énumère ces postes et puis c'est un standing de vie que veux -tu, en rentrant à midi à la maison : tu trouveras toute la maison très bien rangée et le déjeuné est prêt, que dis-tu mon ami ?????
personnellement, je dis qu'un repas ca peut se préparer tout seul et que le ménage aussi ( sans tomber dans la version "clinique" genre nettoyer tous les jours, etc etc )

moi je parle pour une famille avec enfants. je pense que tu vas envoyer tes enfants à l'école francaise! et prendre une protection medicale? et aller au moins 1 à 2 fois en france en famille? et payer le loyer de ta residence? et avoir une voiture?
Pour répondre à patrick, je me contenterai de parler de ce que je connais. J'ai longtemps vécu au Maroc et j'y retourne souvent en vacances: mon fils y vit et y travaille depuis 2 ans.
Je suis assez dac avec exigeance65, on peut vivre au Maroc avec moins de 25000dh. Mais tout dépend du style de vie que tu veux avoir. Il ne faut pas y aller en voulant garder tes habitudes européennes (sinon, il vaut mieux rester en europe!), notamment à propos de l'alimentation: il faut manger la trés bonne cuisine marocaine et les produits du pays (légumes frais, poisson, fruits...) qui ne sont vraiment pas chers et autrement meilleurs que dans nos supermarchés!!
Le logement reste assez élevé, mais il l'est aussi en France (je ne sais pas en Belgique).
Pour les sorties, il y a de quoi faire-dans les grandes villes- et plein de beaux endroits à découvrir.
En somme, il faut savoir s'adapter (mais ce n'est pas trés difficile) et profiter d'une qualité de vie - moins stressante- qui tend à se perdre ici (ce n'est que mon avis). 🙂

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour
