Vous l'aurez deviné, j'aimerais beaucoup travailler et vivre au Québec au moins quelques mois. Après avoir brassé quantité d'infos sur le net, il semble qu'il soit impossible d'acquérir un visa ou un permis vacances travail sans avoir au MINIMUM une ressource (laquelle ?) de 700 euros par mois... j'ai cru comprendre qu'il fallait aussi un "bon" dossier.
J'ai pour diplôme une licence de lettres modernes. Aimant la traduction (surtout audiovisuelle) j'aimerais creuser dans cette direction. Je n'ai pas vraiment d'expérience ds le monde du travail... je me demande donc si j'ai une chance d'acquérir le fameux permis.
Je vous serais extrêmement reconnaissante de m'aiguiller, me conseiller... toute contribution sera plus que bienvenue, car j'en ai plus que besoin :)
1) Les ressources, c'est pour le PVT, c'est normal, puisque tu as besoin d'argent pour payer tes frais les premières semaines, tu ne sais pas combien de temps tu vas trouver un emploi, et s'installer dans un nouveau pays ça exige toutes sortes de dépenses.
2) Pas besoin d'expérience de travail pour avoir le PVT (le quota est cependant atteint et il faudra attendre 2012).
3) En revanche, pour obtenir un permis de travail temporaire en dehors du PVT, il faut trouver un employeur qui confirmera auprès des autorités qu'il n'a pu trouver de Canadien pour combler le poste.
4) Si tu souhaites devenir immigrante (statut de résident permanent), tu dois monter un dossier à l'immigration et faire une demande pour être acceptée. C'est long (au moins 1 an) et très coûteux. Seuls certains candidats sont acceptés. Pour savoir quelles sont tes chances d'être acceptée, tu peux faire l'évaluation préliminaire en ligne, c'est un questionnaire gratuit.

Par curiosité, j’ai fait le test d’évaluation en créant un profil fictif.
Français, 51 ans, vivant à Toulouse. Scolarité de 14 ans, diplômé en technique du bâtiment (équivalent de notre CEGEP technique), charpentier menuisier exerçant depuis 5 ans ou plus sans interruption en France, sans conjointe ni enfant à charge, ayant une très bonne connaissance du français oral et écrit, de base en anglais oral et écrit, possédant en France des actifs totalisant 100 000 $ environ. Note : aucune question sur le passif (dettes personnelles, cartes de crédit, hypothèques).
J’ai indiqué vouloir m’installer à Montréal pour y travailler dans mon domaine d’expérience, n’ai aucun contact social ou professionnel au Québec. J’ai également mentionné avoir visité le Québec lors d’un voyage touristique d’une durée de 2 semaines à 3 mois.

Pourtant : charpentier menuisier est un métier fort en demande. Il y a même une pénurie depuis quelques années dans le Montréal métropolitain. De plus il fait parti de ces métiers de la construction faisant l’objet d’équivalence France-Québec reconnue. Et 100 000 $ d’autonomie, c'est plus que suffisant pour démarrer une immigration au Québec non?

- Tu dois justifier de 700 euros / mois....pour les 3 premiers mois soit 2100 euros, en fait on va te demander un justificatif de ta banque à mettre dans ton dossier. Moi les 2100, je les avais pas, mais quelqu'un a bien voulu me prêter de quoi atteindre cette somme et je les lui ai rendu une fois mon justificatif en poche. Je te conseille quand même d'avoir un peu d'argent avant de partir (au moins 1000 euros).
- un bon dossier ???? non juste un dossier dûment complété et avec les papiers classés dans l'ordre demandé, ils demandent effectivement une lettre de motivation mais en fait ils précisent bien que c'est "premiers arrivés premiers servis"...
en gros si t'as tué personne, que t'as moins de 35 ans et que t'envoies tout ton dossier bien dans l'ordre et le plus tôt possible ben devrait pas y'avoir de problèmes...les refus sont généralement dû à des papiers manquants ou des oublis dans le remplissage de la trousse. Mais là va falloir que t'attende le mois de novembre car pour 2011 c'est terminé (oui les places partent très vites !)

une anedocte : avant de venir ici je suis allé à la Direction Générale du Québec remplir ce qui s'appelait à l'époque la Demande Préliminaire d'Immigration.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour
