Hi everyone! I’m planning a long trip of two and a half months and could use some input to fine-tune my itinerary. I already have a good idea of the dates and how the climate will vary depending on where we are in Australia. Feel free to share your thoughts!

Is this for 2026? Either way, it’s well-balanced, even if—your call—the east coast is getting the lion’s share. If I had to tweak anything, I’d add a few more days in Western Australia. First, to do a coastal loop south of Perth, all the way to Albany, which would lead to Wave Rock (or even further, to Esperance, then heading back up toward Kalgoorlie with its wild-west vibe). Maybe even wander along the coast north of Perth. Those days could come out of Queensland’s time.

You might already know about them, but there are two travel journals here—split into several entries—from travelers who did a full lap of the country in a few months. One by Vaikeaiti and another by Jlcro.

Overnight bus to Melbourne from the 9th to the 19th

Merci pour ta réponse. Je vais essayer de trouver des points d'accroche pour l'ouest. Peut-être dans les carnets que tu m'a indiqué. J'ai un peu peur qu'il y ait des longues distances en voiture ou en bus. Dejà Waverock je troue un peu trop éloigné de Perth.
