On nous propose un poste a saigon (entreprise francaise) pour les détails niveau travail et contrats nous serons fixés en janvier
pour l'instant c'est la vie sur place qui m'interresse car voyez vous je vis en afrique (expat pour 3 ans) dans un minuscule pays ou il n'y a pas grand chose............tout est importé, pas de mac do, ciné, musées, supermarché, magasins de "fringues" (j'ai 2 enfants dont une pré-ado) ect malgré tout on s'y plait beaucoup....
l'été quand je rentre en france je reviens avec 20 paires de chaussures, pour la famille(les enfants ça poussent) des vetements dans les valises , 40kg de tout (meme du ketchup)
soyez franc , c'est la même galère au vietnam
ici nous sommes habitués à tout ce qui est "transit difficile...palud, cholera, mauvais resto , eau en bouteille, nourriture pas top "
je me dis que ça peu pas être pire
avec tout ce que je lis sur les forum le pays est magnifique, la culture un régal, la nourriture un délice............

En ce qui concerne les achats, pas de souci, il y a plethore de magasins, grandes surfaces, produits occidentaux, etc. etc. a Saigon. Bien sur, tu paies "la sauce", les produits importes sont nettement plus chers.
pas de mac do, ciné, musées, supermarché, magasins de "fringues"
pas de McDo, mais d'autres "marques" du meme accabit un peu partout dans la ville, des musees, oui, supermarches (voir ci-dessus), magasins de fringues (prepare ta carte VISA, ta fille va se regaler), cinemas, bowlings, terrains de tennis et d'autres sports, piscines, cafes, discotheques, restaurants, librairies avec livres en francais, etc. etc.
Je ne connais pas Djibouti ni l'Afrique, mais d'apres ce que tu dis, je repondrais "rien a voir" (dans le sens "aucun rapport"). Saigon est la capitale economique du Viet Nam, mis a part certaines denrees tres specifiques dans le secteur alimentaire, je pense qu'on y trouve absolument tout.
No souci pour ca, le plus dur sera de vous habituer au bruit incessant et a la pollution.

notre vie à djibouti est assez... comment dire "assez limitée", djibouti est un minuscule pays situé à la corne d'afrique entre la somalie, l'hetiopie et l'heyritrée, une fois sortie de la ville( et capitale) le désert.........
mais nous avons une bonne qualité de vie (malgré le manque de presque tout) c'est ce que je recherche en voulant repartir, mes enfants se sentent bien, j'ai un fils qui a pal mal d'énergie, ici en afrique ça ne les dérange pas ils adorent les enfants, en france c'est pas me même discourt (mal élevé)

D'après la description que vous faîtes de Djibouti, la vie à Saïgon va vous paraître paradisiaque. Ici on trouve tout ou presque, fromages et vins français compris si vous êtes nostalgique, il y a une vie nocturne et culturelle. Pour le curieux, il y a pleins de choses à faire ou à découvrir et en 1 H 45 de vol vous êtes en Thaïlande, Cambodge, Laos, Singapour ou Malaisie par exemple. Le pays avance à grand pas et Saïgon change rapidement. 4000 ressortissants sont inscrits au consulat et les petits français ne manquent pas à l'école. Le climat est ici tout à fait supportable, jamais plus de 35 ° et souvent aéré.
Pour travailler ici (permis de travail et carte de résident), il faut théoriquement justifier d'un niveau bac+3 et les emplois ne sont ouverts que pour les domaines en manque de main d'oeuvre. Le paradoxe est que le pays privilégie la préférence nationale tout en favorisant l'emploi de sa propre main d'oeuvre dans d'autres pays d'Asie ou du Golfe.

Ici, les enfants sont rois. Tout le monde les adore.

Il y a l'ecole Colette (privee et relativement onereuse, mais incontournable pour avoir une equivalence de diplome avec la France). Il y a beaucoup d'eleves et tes enfants se feront tres facilement des amis.

Pas evident de travailler, il faut un permis de travail et un diplome recherche. Note que si ton mari travaille pour une boite francaise, le salaire devrait largement suffire a votre entretien. Je ne connais pas les expats de Saigon (excepte une amie), mais je pense que les epouses se voient regulierement et ont des activites ensemble.

Il n'est pas necessaire de rentrer en France, le climat est supportable et il y a beaucoup de destinations "plage" tant en hiver qu'en ete.

Il existe une multitude de centres de langue ou on peut suivre des cours d'anglais (les eleves sont vietnamiens (enfants, ados et adultes), mais rien n'empeche un etranger d'y aller, tant qu'il paie... 😉 Neanmoins, ne pas parler du tout l'anglais va etre un handicap, toutes les "negociations" avec les etrangers se font en anglais.
Pour les questions, n'hesite pas, on t'aidera dans la mesure de nos capacites.

Treize a la douzaine...😉 note que tu peux eventuellement trouver chez un "specialiste" qui serait interesse par une coiffeuse "made in France" pour des choses plus hors du commun ou la formation de ses employees. Voir aussi dans le domaine de la mode, pas en qualite de coiffeuse "qui coiffe", mais plutot "qui enseigne".
Console-toi, les autres femmes d'expats seront tres certainement contente de rencontrer une coiffeuse a qui elles pourront expliquer exactement ce qu'elles veulent dans leur langue maternelle.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour
2) Open a mini supermarket + a modern bakery using the flour for pastries, etc.
3) Build a healthcare service
4) Build a nursery and primary school
5) Construct free housing for retired expatriates in exchange for their voluntary contributions in their respective fields.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
