Ça y est notre départ pour l Australie approche et voici venir le temps des démarches, visas, billets d avion etc...
On se demande si on prend un pack style visa first ou si on fait simplement notre demande de visa?
A priori, on serait plutôt pour un visa sans pack, car tout ce qu ils proposent ( logement a l arrivée, aide au job, ouvrir un compte...) je pense qu on peut le gérer nous même, avec les tuyaux des uns et des autres et par nous même.
Par contre, il y a quelques points qui me font hésiter, notement les cours d anglais proposés, qui seraient bienvenus vu notre niveau faible, le certificat pour pouvoir travailler dans la restauration, le no tfn ( kesako?)...etc..
En gros, d un coté je me dis que c est confort, niveau paperasse en arrivant, car on a vraiment un niveau d anglais très faible, et d un autre coté je me dis qu on peut trouver en amont des cours d anglais et se débrouiller...
Si quelqu'un un a l expérience d un pack qui lui a servit ou pas??
Ou une adresse pour cours d anglais en oz a prix abordable?
Est ce que c est compliquer niveau paperasse administrative sans pack notement pour rsa etc..?
Bon la je suis au japon, mais j'ai déjà passé 8 mois en Australie avec le fameux WHV, et je n'ai qu'une chose à dire le pack est juste inutile !!! A moins que vous aimiez dépenser de l'argent pour rien, vous pouvez très bien vous débrouiller sans.
Pour les démarches administratives, c'est vraiment très facile, même avec un faible niveau d'anglais (je sais de quoi je parle), pour ouvrir un compte en banque il suffit juste de se présenter a la banque de son choix avec son passeport et le reste se fait tout seul.
Le TFN (Tax File Number), tu ne peux pas travailler si tu ne l a pas, c'est ton numéro d'imposition, et ca se fait en ligne.
Bref le mieux et que vous alliez sur le lien suivant, c'est une mine d'infos:
Si vous voulez trouver du boulot, je vous deconseil Sydney, c'est assez galère, par contre j'ai vu pas mal d'annonces pour serveurs/ barmaids à Melbourne. Mais si votre niveau d'anglais est au ras des pâquerettes, faut pas se leurrer, ca va être difficile.
Donc l'ultime choix pour les buses en anglais, c'est le fruit picking, alors je vous conseil la Tasmanie, en janvier pour les cerises, c'est très facile et en plus il fait pas trop chaud. Allez du coté de Cygnet ou de Huonville, et là deux choix se présentent, soit vous avez une voiture et vous allez de fermes en fermes pour demander du boulot et vous dormez au camping soit vous allez dans un backpack qui va vous mettre en contact avec une ferme, et qui va s'occuper du transport. Je suis restée un mois au backpack de cygnet, c'est très cher vu l'état de l'auberge, mais bon t'as pas vraiment le choix, ils le savent et en profite mais l'ambiance est vraiment bien, j'ai passé un très bon moment.
Pour améliorer mon anglais, c'est très simple j'ai juste fui les français, assez difficile car des français il y en a vraiment partout, parfois je me demande si je suis en Australie. Ca risque d'être dur pour vous, car vous allez toujours parler en français entre vous, je vous conseille d'essayer de voyager avec des non francophones.
J'ai aussi fait pas mal d'helpexchange (c'est une sorte de woofing) au début de mon voyage, ca m'a vraiment aider à améliorer mon anglais, et ca permet de rencontrer de vrai australiens, et ca change de l'ambiance backpack.
Bref si vous avez d'autres questions n'hésitez pas!
On voulait éviter Sydney, au moins pour l'arrivee.
On pensait effectivement a Melbourne, pour arriver, voir niveau boulot, et logement, le temps d atterrir tranquille et de faire un bon achat camion.
Ensuite, l idée serait de bosser entre autre dans le fruit picking, tout au long du voyage, ou parfois ds restauration quand on aura amélioré notre Anglais.
Pour la Tasmanie, bon plan, on a vraiment envie de s y arrêter, mais le ferries avec camion est assez cher, donc pourquoi pas faire la Tasmanie avant tout?
Et l autre possibilité c est d arriver a Darwin car on est tenté par une escale d environ 1 mois en Indonésie.
Et on a repéré la traversé en camion, de Darwin a Perth, d environ 2 mois, qui nous tente vraiment.

on ne veut pas tout planifier, de tte façon c est impossible, et tant mieux, mais il nous faut au moins décider du point de départ!
et c est tellement grand!!
Pour l anglais t a raison, il va vraiment falloir faire des efforts, surtout qu' on est 2, mais le fait de bosser nous mettra dans le bain, et l envie et la nécessité de communiquer.Je pense que ça va etre frustrant de galérer et du coup ca va nous booster!!
Niveau boulot, j ai aussi entendu parler des bateaux touristiques qui partent de Darwin vers les iles pour quelques jours avec plongée etc, et apparemment on peut parfois trouver un boulot a bord en tant que "petite main", ou faire cuisine ou ménage...
