Je connais peu Brazzaville car pour ma part c'est à Pointe Noire que je vivais. Je ne pourrais donc pas vous répondre précisément sur tout.
- le cout de la vie (alimentaire, logement, taxis, charges de logement) ?
Il faut arriver à consommer local, fruits et légumes du marché, poisson pour réduire le budget des courses. Vous trouverez les produits français et européens dans les supermarchés mais le prix sera à multiplier par 2 au minimum. (qqs exemple de prix à Pointe Noire au supermarché Casino, brique de lait: 950 à 1200cfa; brique de jus: 1200 à 1800 cfa; plaquette de beurre 250gr: 1200 environ; jambon sous vide de 3500cfa à 5000 environ, yaourts par 4 et export comptez 5000cfa , pour les yaourts locaux 250 cfa à 300; la bouteille d'eau minérale locale 500cfa)
Une yaourtière est intéressante à emporter.
Pour les vêtements je vous conseille d'en emporter un peu d'avance pour l'année surtout des chaussures qu'on use très vite là bas , et difficile d'en trouver de correctes à bon prix sachant aussi que les pointures femmes vont souvent du 42 au 43 voire 45!!
Pour le logement , je suppose qu'il est pris en compte par votre société...veillez aussi à ce que les charges comme l'eau et l'électricité soient prises en compte. A Pointe Noire les maisons et certains immeubles ont en majorité des bâches (cuves) à eau et sont ravitaillés selon les besoins de chacun et leurs moyens par des camions citernes de cies privées. Le ramassages des ordures à domicile est effectué également par des cies privées. Un groupe électrogène est indispensable(en tout cas à Pointe Noire où les coupures sont fréquentes et quotidiennes) Globalement loger dans un immeuble est plus tranquille de ce côté là car vous n'aurez pas à vous tracasser de ces allées et venues (eau, gazoil pour le groupe etc) et les éventuelles bricoles.
La purification et le filtrage de l'eau est nécessaire, s'il n'y pas déjà de système de filtrage au robinet ce sera sans doute à vous d'investir. Chlore ou javel dans la bâche à eau, et système de filtrage de l'eau du robinet donc. Pour le filtrage, équipez vous sur place afin de pouvoir retrouver les cartouches de rechange en quincaillerie-bricolage.
Le personnel de maison. La ménagère est le plus souvent à votre charge. Le gardiennage est souvent pris en compte par les sociétés. Mais dans tous les cas un gardien de nuit au minimum est nécessaire c'est une dissuasion assez efficace qui ne veut pas non plus dire que ça craint beaucoup.
De ce que j'en sais question sécurité, Brazza équivaut à peu près à Pointe Noire, c'est à dire que c'est assez tranquille. Vous avez à vous méfier des pick pockets sur les grands marchés , ceci étant une chose assez courante dans les grandes villes de la planète. Vous pouvez circulez à pied le jour mais pas la nuit. Faire attention en traversant des rues ou des artères à cause de la conduite.
La course en taxi est de 700cfa au centre ville, 1000 si on en sort un peu, et vous pouvez aussi louer un taxi à la journée. En trouver un pour conduire vos enfants tous les jours à l'école.
Pour le personnel de maison, comme pour le taxi chauffeur, informez vous auprès des réseaux expats sur place, voire à l'école française pour un taximan.

Je ne connais pas le nombre de places par rapport à la demande. L'école française de Pointe Noire se fait petite et il y a des listes d'attentes(les familles françaises se replient parfois vers l'école italienne).
Ne partez pas en contrat local uniquement, à éviter surtout en famille... vous devriez avoir un contrat expat + le contrat local obligatoire. A bien éplucher celui de l'expat et ce qu'il comporte habituellement dans son package: cotisations CFE+mutuelle, assedics, éventuellement l'école des enfants, le logement +eau+électricité+gazoil, gardiennage, billetsA/R pour la famille en éco 1 fois/an. La vie est chère, l'école française aussi, et si vous ne pouvez pas vivre un peu à côté ça va devenir vite lourd coincés en ville .
Pour les hôpitaux et médecins je ne connais pas non plus, mais je sais que Pointe-Noire est mieux équipée et que parfois selon les cas certains y sont envoyés ( Clinique Net Care) évitant ainsi un rapatriement en France. Pour le reste il y a sûrement de bons médecins et pharmacie à l’européenne, vous pouvez aussi avoir un suivi avec le médecin de l'ambassade de France.

Mon experience de l Afrique se resume a 2 mois passes au Kenya cette année et votre descriptif du Congo Brazzaville ressemble beaucoup a ce que j ai pu y voir.

Le niveau sanitaire est plutôt bas. recrudescence des paludismes résistants. les infos sont consultables sur des sites officiels comme ceux de l'OMS.pb d'évacuation des eaux usées et des caniveaux bouchés. les établissements publiques n'ont rien à voir avec un système occidental. Les occidentaux ne s'y rendent pas. Il y a quelques cliniques mais en cas de pépins les étrangers ou dignitaires sont rapatriés en France. cout de la vie pas élévé surtout par rapport au salaire d'un expat. coupure d'electricité et d'eau quasi chronique. Il faut prévoir de palier à tout ça. pays qui a beaucoup régressé depuis les guerres et difficultés pour les populations qui y vivent au quotidien. Pas évident....
