L'ile St maurice je connais pas, mais je connais le Québec !! et je sais qu'il y a une région vers les Laurentides qui s'appelle "la Mauricie" !!!

Moi personnellement j'ai été deçu par le paysage intérieur : c'est envahi par la culture de la canne a sucre ! il y en a de partout ... C'est assez petit et quand au déplacement c'est l'horreur car les route sont pas terribles mais surtout il n'y a qu'une seule pour relier le nord et le sud donc beaucoup d'embouteillage.
Coté bouffe c'est génial : mélange de 3 culture : créole, indien et asiatique ! c'est divin et pas très cher. Je te conseil aussi les petits boui boui ou vont les autochtones pendant midi et deux pour manger les soupes.... Si tu part en janvier il fera très chaud....
N'oublie pas d'aller de visiter les iles, de faire de la plongée, catamaran . C'est pas cher...
Bon en bref c'est sympa en tant que touriste mais les indous sont raciste ! très ! en vers les blancs et il regarde les créoles comme de la merde ! enfin ils ne les regardes pas ils les ignorent ....

Je suis de l'ile Maurice et y vit depuis naissance et fait mes études univ a Toronto au canada et suis deja venue au Quebec, J'ai aussi beaucoup de proches a Montreal et Toronto.
Canada et Ile Maurice c'est 2 univers completement differents neige v/s soleil tropique, manteau v/s bikinis !
Tous les jours, c'est ensoleillé et on est entouré de mer turquoise.
Nous ne manquons de rien, quoique notre roupie mauricienne est tres faible $1 CDN = Rs 30 MUR
Nous sommes quelque 1.2 millions d'habitants et les Mauriciens sont tres travailleurs, tres amicaux et tres gentils.
Nous sommes présents dans tous les secteurs - Tourisme, Agriculture, Santé, Finance, Informatique, Textile, Construction etc ...
Les prix des logements varient de ville ou sur la cote - de Rs 8000 a + par mois pour un appart ou studio.
Nouriture, il y a de tout - local + importé surtout d'europe.
Je pense toutefois qu'un quebecois venant vivre a Maurice aurait plutot un penchant pour les plages et le soleil.
De Maurice, les personnes qui sont partis vivre au Canada ne sont jamais retournés exceptés pour les vacances !
ca m éclaire encore plus sur cette île.c est certain que d y vivre et en vacances c très différent.
Mais ces assez curieux que les Mauriciens venue au canada soit pas retourner.
Ont est jamais content de ce qu ont a 😉.
Je commencerai avec des vacances d'un mois pour avoir une meilleur idée sur l endroit.
Quel coté et quelle ville me jugerer vous ?? pour la plage bien sur, végétations et acceuil.
quand on a gouté à l'immensité de l'amérique du nord et le mode de vie qui va avec ( très différent de l'europe et de Maurice bien sur ), c'est plus difficile de revenir sur une petite île où la moindre sortie coute relativement cher du fait de l'insularité ...., donc quand on a une famille, mieux vaut bien gagné sa vie pour que tout le monde profite .... (ce qui est douloureux, c'est le prix aller-retour d'un billet Maurice-Canada)
Et tout ce qui se rapporte à l'Occident là-bas est plus proche du modèle européen que nord-américain ...
Mais les mauriciens sont vraiment accueillants; pour vivre correctement là-bas, quand on est étranger, je pense que le mieux est d'avoir un capital et de creer son entreprise dans un secteur porteur sur le marché local.

pour le vol, du Canada escale obligée à Paris ou Londres ( compte 6-7 h de Montréal à Paris ) et 12h de Paris à Maurice/ ca fait un long voyage !!
Pour le prix en basse saison ( février à juin et de septembre à mi-decembre) compte environ ALLER RETOUR :
790 $ pour un Montréal-Paris
- 1400 $ pour un Paris-Maurice
en haute-saison, ca monte beaucoup plus haut:
Environ 2200 $ pour un Paris-Maurice , mieux vaut si prendre tôt pour réserver ( 5 mois avant pour avoir les meilleurs prix ) car c'est une destination de plus en plus demandée;
Ta certainement une compagnie en vue pour un trajet vers l'europe ( transat c'est bon marché mais on est serré comme des sardines ) et puis vers Maurice choisit air france ou air mauritius, les vols sont directs et la classe éco est relativement confortable ( personnel au petits soins ) ...

je te conseille plutot l'ouest de l'ile car il y a de belles plages, il fait plus souvent beau k sur le reste de l'ile et surtout il y a beaucoup d'activités et de sites à visiter. Dans le nord, c beaucoup de plages. cela dépend c k tu recherches mais l'ouest combine bien toutes les exigences des vacanciers.

je pense m'y installer en 2009, je parts déja début novembre pour y faire une édute de marché et j'y reste déja au moins deux mois.
les gouts et les couleurs de chacun sont trés differents!!!
alors je dis que le mieux s'est de si rendre et de constater par toi même et tu seras certainement surprise.

Je suis Française et pour répondre à ta question, il fait bon vivre à l'Ile Maurice, mais pour les vacances. N'oublies pas que c'est une île et que tu en as . vite fait le tour. J'y vais tous les ans passer un mois, mais c'est suffisant. Quant au boulot, il n'y a pas grand chose, il faut dire que le salaire moyen là bas est de 250 E. Le mieux est de trouver un contrat canadien qui t'envoie travailler là bas. Sinon ça ne vaut pas le coup. Quant aux hopitaux, bonjour les dégâts, si tu tombes malade, je parle d'une chose assez grave, il vaut mieux aller directement sur la Réunion voir les médeçins Français. After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
