salut , en effet pour vivre au senegal .d abord la vie n est pas cher , il ya la securite .mais trouver un job c est tout à fait difficile .si vous avez un budget , vous pouver ouvrir quelque chose comme : une petite entreprise , auberge , restaurant , atelier ect...ou dans le domaine du transport en commun ça marche beaucoup .

Si tu as des infos, avec GRAND plaisir. Quant tu parles de transport, tu veux dire quoi exactement?, sous quelle forme? Comment s'installe t on au Sénégal? On devient résidant? Comment investit on? Tu vois , de nombreuses questions encore.....

Mon concubin est militaire et est parti le 10 aout 2009 au senegal (Dakar) pour une opex pendant 2 ans. Je pouvait le suivre après sous condition qu'on soit mariés.Or nous ne l'avons pas fait, et suis donc restée en france.
Voila une semaine qu'il est a Dakar et l'éloignement est deja tres difficile alors deux ans nous semble insurmontable...
Apres renseignements de son coté nous allons nous marié en fin d'année et je m'installe avec lui la ba debut 2010!!!
J'ai hate d'être a ses cotés et au senegal en plus!
Donc voilà, d'après de nombreux message sur le forum il parait difficile de trouver du travail mais y a t il des activité que je pourrait faire la ba??? La vie y est elle chere???

voici les infos pour demander une carte de résident (tu as trois mois avec le tampon d'entrée) et la carte consulaire (pas obligatoire, a toi de voir)

A Dakar, la police des étrangers se trouve entre le Commissariat de Dieuppeul et l’église des Martyrs de l’Ouganda.
Contact à la police des étrangers : 33 869 32 22
En déposant le dossier le matin, vous obtenez normalement votre récépissé deux jours après.
Documents requis :
o Deux timbre fiscaux de 200 FCFA (dispo à la poste ou dans les boutiques à côté du commissariat),
o Un extrait de casier judiciaire,
o Fiche individuelle d’état civil ou Extrait de naissance,
o Lettre manuscrite adressée au Ministre de l’intérieur
o Photocopie passeport, 2 premières pages et tampon d’entrée sur le territoire sénégalais,
o Certificat médical
o 3 photos identité
- le paiement d’une caution de 75 000 (remboursable une semaine avant la fin du séjour)
- le paiement de 15 200 FCFA de frais de dossier.
Le récépissé délivré est valable 6 mois, puis il faut le faire tamponner tous les 3 mois jusqu’à obtention de la carte d’identité d’étranger.
Documents pour établir la carte consulaire
Les étrangers résidant dans les Régions de Saint-Louis, Louga et Matam doivent se faire enregistrer au consulat de France à Saint-Louis : 33 938 26 00 / 05. Pour ceux résidant dans toutes les autres Régions, l’enregistrement se fait au Consulat de France à Dakar. Il faut alors téléphoner pour prendre rendez-vous : 33 839 52 33 (entre 15h et 16h uniquement). Cet enregistrement est gratuit.

je suis de la casamance et je vois que OSD vous a donné les renseignement nécessaire... en réalité je connai rien dans ce domaine, mais l'expérience me tente toujours, j'ai toujour envi de me lancer dans quelques choses..... je n'ai pas encore eu l'occasion!! peut être avec toi se sera le cas. côté busness il y'a bcp de secteur d'activité que tu pourras investir.....mais c'est a toi de décider, il faut venir surplace et faire l'étude du milieu... même si chez moi c'est déjas le cas. si vraiment ça te chante de tenter quelques choses avec moi contactez moi à l'adresse suivante: jeantndone@yahoo.fr

je ne sais pas si la casamance vas te plaire pour y vivre et travailler, mais ce qu j'en suis sur c'est une région ou il y'a bcp de secteur d'activité où on peu investir, je peu te donner des exemples de domaine, il y'a le domaine immobiliére ( construction d'une villa en plusieurs appartements; vente ou location); transport (transport en commun, location ou vente de vehicules), Restauration( bar- restau), commerce (dépot de boisson alcoolisé ou non plus eau minéral), et tant d'autres secteur où tu pourais investir. maintenant tous dépend de toi il faudra venir et voir surplace..... j'aimerais savoir qu'elle sont tes projets, dans quel secteur d'activité tu veus te lancer et pourkoi tu cherche un homme que l'expérience tente et qui n'as pas peur de se lancer

j'ai 25 ans j'habite Bruxelles, je ne suis pas un homme mais j'aimerais tout autant que vous partir vivre au Sénégal.
j'y suis déjà partie en vacances et je dois dire que le fait de devoir rentrer en Europe m'a déprimée au plus au point.
je sais que la vie la bas ne sera pas plus facile qu'ici en Europe mais elle se posera sur d'autres bases certainement beaucoup plus proche de mes valeurs.
j'aimerais trouver quelqu'un qui a la même envie que moi de partir car ce type d'aventure est toujours plus gai et sécurisant lorsque l'on est pas seul.
je travaille dans le marketing. je sais qu'il sera difficile de trouver un travail dans ce domaine la bas mais j'aviserai sur place.
je pense qu'il faut d'abord y vivre pour y voir plus clair. Trouver un travail à distance me parait impossible.

So, I was wondering if it’s realistic to live on 500 or 600 € per month, and if so, under what conditions? Is that enough, considering I’ll be working 40 hours a week?

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Hi, I’m a self-employed physiotherapist in France, and as my wife (a nurse) and I look into working abroad in about two years, I’ve been offered an equivalence to become a respiratory physiotherapist in Switzerland. Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?

In the summer of 2026, my husband is being transferred to New Caledonia. We’ll be living near Nouméa. Do you know if the early childhood sector is a good field for jobs there? Can’t wait to discover this island! Right now, we’re in the middle of all the administrative paperwork for our 3 kids, finding housing, bringing our cat to the territory, and so on! I’m looking for info on villages around Aix, like Fuveau, Bouc-Bel-Air, or even Éguilles and Venelles? We’re a couple with a child living in the Paris region, and I’ll be relocating to Aix-en-Provence in spring 2026. We’d love to swap our apartment for a house with a pool within 20-30 minutes max of central Aix, with a budget of around 650k €.

Starting this spring, we want to settle near Aix-en-Provence. We're tired of living in the mountains with all the snow—we really need some sunshine and a fresh start. Is it hard to find a house to rent there? What about prices? If you have any great tips or useful info about the area, we’d love to hear it. I work in education and want to do prevention work in Marseille or Aix—are there jobs in the social sector?

I’m an osteopath and I’d like to set up and open an osteopathy practice in Thailand. I don’t have a precise location in mind yet, but I’m thinking maybe Hua Hin. I saw there’s an osteopath based in Phuket, so I wrote to him for some info, but he still hasn’t replied🤪!
So I’m reaching out to people who live there or know the country well: I’d like to know what the best ways are to advertise and get known in Thailand. Are there any local classifieds newspapers? First, I’d like to practice from my apartment. Is that allowed in Thailand? Ideally, I’d like to work part-time in a private hospital as an osteopath. I’m thinking that in Thailand, the medical field is much more open than in Europe!!! Has anyone seen an osteopath or chiropractor working in a Thai hospital? Do you know the price of a consultation?
