je te propose le quartier bastos à yaoundé qui est un quartier chic, sécurisé et puis pas loin de l'hippodrome, mais je t'envoies les prix des appartements lundi ou mardi okay! mais tu souhaiterais avoir un appartement de combien de chambres?
Ericfarmer te répond bien, je dirais aussi Bastos. pour des questions pratiques surtout si vous travaillez près de l'Hippodrome.

prendre un maison à distance pas évident, vaut mieux louer un truc pour 1 mois et voir ensuite. je peux te communiquer des coordonnées d'agence immo, contacte moi par mp.
pour le mobilier, c'est pas cher, l'électroménager, un peu plus, mais tu peux acheter de l'occas.
salut Juby!tous ces appartements sont au quartier bastos, il y en as qui ont la clim mais tu n'auras pas beaucoup à t'en servir à yaoundé car fait frais dans cette zone la plupart du temps; en ce qui concerne les meubles, tu les as à de bons prix à douala surtout, les appareils électro ménagers sont entre 35 000 ET 200 000 FCFA, cela dépend ce que tu recherche, pour les meubles il a en tout genre, tu peux te les faire fabriquer ou acheter à de bon prix mais surtout si tu fais tes achats à douala tu ne seras pas déçu, on y trouve presque tout à des prix abordables. la distance entre le quartier bastos et hyppodromme est à environ un kilomètre voir moins, tu apperçois le quartier étant à hyppodromme tu prends un taxi pour y arriver à 200 FCFA.
S'agissant du quartier Ngousso, je ne te le conseillerais pas. et puis c'est un peu éloigné du lieu de ton boulot.

Bon les tarifs énoncés plus haut sont assez farfelus, car j'habite à Bastos. Un appartement avec 2 chambres + 3 salles d'eau (WC), grand salon, grande cuisine, 2 balcons + réserve + 2 gardiens = 200.000 FCFA (non meublé). C'est une résidence de standing.
Je te conseille ce quartier aussi, beaucoup de tes frères blancs y habitent.
Mais attention, prend un hôtel pendant 1 mois, regarde les tarifs, rencontre tes frères et cherche bien. Ici au pays il y a beaucoup de feymen (bandits)

Le quartier hippodrome - foire, n'est pas recommandé, même pour nous au pays. Et pour un blanc, il vaut mieux habiter un quartier sécurisé, surtout si c'est ton premier séjour. Bastos est très bien pour ça.

Je connais un coin qui peut t'intéresser et qui est plus proche d'Hippordrome que Bastos. C'est au quartier Fouda. J'y connais des appartements simples et meublés loués à des expat à des prix très accessibles (entre 70 et 120 000 le mois). Tu peux également négocier une connexion Internet. Je n'en suis pas le proprietaire, mais je peux te mettre en contact avec lui.

Je te déconseille Ngousso (c'est assez près de là où je vis, mais il y'a trop d'embouteillages sur cette route jusqu'à l'Hippordrome).
Je te déconseille aussi Hippodrome. Le soir, la prositution y prend ses sièges comme dans très peu d'autres endroits dans tout le Cameroun.
Je te conseille enfin de faire ce que Marie Sophie te proposait. Arriver ici, prendre une chambre dans un hôtel et avoir l'avis de quelques autres expatriés avant de te décider sur ton logement définitif.
