Je compte partir en Nouvelle Zélande en Novembre 2013 avec un working holiday visa, j'ai mon diplôme de prof de plongée (PADI) et cela me plairait de travailler dans ce secteur.
Je ne cherche pas forcement a être prof de plongée mais a travailler par exemple sur des bateaux proposant des sorties en mer (dolphin watching...) .
Es ce que quelqu'un a déjà trouvé un emploi en working holiday visa de ce genre? Es ce facile de trouver? Et a quel endroit devrais je donner mes CV? Bay of Plenty? Kaikoura?
Je ne sais pas par ou commencer...
J'ai également des questions pour le logement, es ce commun en Nouvelle Zélande de partager des maisons, comme ça se fait très souvent en Australie?
Il y a t-il des sites pour trouver ce genre d'annonces?

Pour les plongées et travailler sur les bateau et autres, je te conseille de te rendre dans le sud de l'île, beaucoup plus propice.
Ensuite, tu peux regarder ce site http://auckland.gumtree.co.nz/ l'équivalent du bon coin en NZ, il y a beaucoup d'annonces d'emploi de logement, etc.

Concernant la collocation, ca se fait beaucoup, tu rencontreras certainement d'autres expatriés étrangers qui tout comme toi cherchent un logement, tu as des annonces de colloc également sur GUMTREE.
Bon je n'ai pas très bien compris si tu ne veux pas bosser comme moniteur de plongée ou si tu pense ne pas pouvoir...
En tout cas je peux te dire qu'en Australie les compagnies de plongée commencent à chercher du monde vu que l'été arrive, je suppose donc que ça doit être la même chose chez les voisins 😉
Après pour avoir discuté avec plusieurs personnes ton wvh ne devrait pas poser de problème si tu es d'accord de bosser 3 mois au même endroit.
Je te conseille de regarder sur les sites comme prodive où tu peux trouver une rubrique job.
Et sinon petite question: envisages- tu de voyager un peu en arrivant ou de t'installer direct? Parce que je viens passer le mois de novembre en NZ et j'ai bien envie de faire un ptit tour des plus beaux spots de plongée des 2 îles ^^
En faite cela ne me dérangera pas si je trouve un emploi dans le milieu marin pas forcement moniteur de plongée.
Tu as raison en novembre - décembre c est la meilleur période pour trouver un job dans ce domaine.

Pour tout te dire c'est encore un peu flou dans ma tête, j'hésite entre voyager un mois des mon arrivée ou m'installer directement et trouver un emploi sur place!
L'avantage si je voyage tout de suite c'est que je vais avoir une meilleur idée de l'endroit qui me conviendra le mien pour plus tard m'y installer.
En tout cas si je choisis cette options je serais contente de partager l'aventure avec toi puisque nous partageons la même passion!

Alors moi je suis serveuse à Sydney pour encore un mois et après 2 semaines de plongée en Thailande et j'arrive le 2 novembre en NZ.
Je ne cherche absolument pas à influencer ton choix mais si cela peut t'aider à clarifier tes projets, sache que dans les annonces que j'ai pu voir pour travailler sur les bateaux en Australie, la connaissance du milieu marin du pays est toujours citée comme un plus. Voyager avant et avoir déjà plongé dans le pays est donc un gros atout surtout en voulant travailler dans le milieu du tourisme. J'ai notamment plusieurs connaissances qui ont décroché un job au cours de leur vacances, simplement en discutant avec les animateurs et en mentionnant leur volonté de trouver un job dans le milieu (en Australie ça marche bien le bouche à oreille par contre pour ce qui est de la NZ... Aucune idée!!). Par contre c'est évident que voyager avant de travailler demande un budget assez conséquent pour pouvoir assumer et la période de voyage et la période ou tu cherchera du taff...

En van bien sûre!!!!!! J'ai fait la côte est de l'Australie en bus + auberge de jeunesse mais maintenant j'ai vraiment envie de tester le van (d'autant que tu peut camper partout là bas c'est vraiment facile!!). Je vais voyager un petit mois du 2 novembre au 29 grand max et j'ai surtout envie de faire les 2 iles en profitant de la nature quasi vierge à portée de mains, de pieds et de palmes ><

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
