Hi there, my husband and I are planning a trip to Iceland in mid-October 2026. Would you have any advice on the best places to visit for a first trip to this destination? Thanks

Hi, We're leaving on June 19th for an 8-day road trip in South Iceland. I've heard that even in summer, it's cold and the weather can change several times a day. Should we mainly pack winter gear, like a K-Way, fleece, down jacket, beanie, etc.?
