Choosing your flight

From France, Switzerland, and Belgium

  • Price range: 150/400 €.
  • Flight duration (direct): 2h30 to 3h00.

There is a wide choice overall, with scheduled and some low-cost flights. In all cases, direct flights are preferable. However, if you are flexible, you might also consider flights (especially low-cost ones) arriving at the nearby airport Rabat, or even occasionally Marrakech with its many charter and low-cost flights.

From elsewhere

Quebec

Montreal is connected directly to Casablanca by RAM for around CAD 1,500 minimum round trip. In a way, this offers good value compared to other scheduled flights, all of which transit through Europe. Even though some of these may be slightly cheaper (CAD 1,200 round trip), the detour and sometimes lengthy layovers reduce their appeal.

If you do want to transit through Europe, it is better to opt for Air Transat transatlantic flights before continuing to Casablanca with one of the various airlines departing from France or elsewhere. By carefully choosing your dates, you may sometimes complete the entire journey for under CAD 1,000.

Elsewhere

Thanks to RAM, Casablanca has good connections to and from West Africa, and with Gulf carriers, the Middle East and beyond to Asia. It is also in Casablanca that the vast majority of domestic flights in Morocco converge.
