Shanghai Airport
The Shanghai metropolitan area has two internationally designated airports:
- Shanghai Pudong: one of China's major airports. Within the city, it is primarily "specialised" in international connections.
- Shanghai Hongqiao: Shanghai's oldest airport, now mainly handling domestic flights and routes to/from neighbouring countries.
