J'avoue en effet ne pas trop avoir compris ce PS. Les discussions en général sur VF sont correctes dans la langue écrite, et le langage SMS y est proscrit vivement par les autres membres du site. Évidemment, on ne peut pas s'attendre d'un forum rejoignant un auditoire de 7 à 77 ans, venant de partout dans le monde, à une maîtrise exemplaire de la langue française. J'aime aussi beaucoup quand les gens font attention, mais il ne faut pas constamment s'arrêter sur chaque faiblesse.

J'ai juste mis les choses au point en ce qui concerne cete discussion. Mon commentaire sur l'orthographe ne vise en rien les personnes défavorisées ni celles atteintes de dyslexie. Je pense que beaucoup font peu attention alors qu'ils sont capables de bien mieux. Lorque l'on écrit, il faut aussi penser au destinataire. J'ai beau pratiquer la langue de Molière avec brio, je respecte bien évidemment les personnes ayant plus de difficultés.

De plus, Molière est Français et non Belge. Il arrive que certaines expressions soient différentes selon la région considérée.
"CanadaGoose" a raison. Cela fonctionne comme des adjectifs. Par exemple, si je disais:"Molière est beau et non vétuste". Ce sont deux attributs du sujet. Par conséquent, ils ne prennent pas de majuscule.
En revanche, si j'avais dit "Molière (alias Jean-Baptiste Poquelin) est un Français et non un Belge".
Dans ce cas, ce sont des noms de nationalité. Ce qui exige une majuscule. Je ne pense pas que nous aidons Amarane dans ses recherches de cette façon! Le débat est clos désormais.
En effet, Molière est bien décédé en 1673. Cependant , en société, il arrive que l'on parle de personnalités disparues au présent.
Je me suis renseigné auprès d'un professeur et selon lui, les deux orthographes peuvent être acceptées. Toutefois, il y a une nuance.
La divergence des réponses repose sur "français" dans le cas où il est attribut (donc précédé d'un verbe d'état, le plus fréquent étant le verbe "être"). En fait, la majuscule dépend de la nature du mot (nom/adjectif) et non de sa fonction (attribut/sujet).
Le tout est de savoir si l'attribut est adjectif ou nom.
"Je suis français", ici on insiste sur l'adjectif "français", donc pas de majuscule.
"Je suis Français", ici par contre, on insiste sur l'identité de la personne. Le mot "français" désigne la personne elle-même, et non l'adjectif qualifiant la personne.
En conclusion, tout dépend de la nature de l'attribut, de ce que chacun a interprété lorsqu'il a lu le message. J'avais donc raison de mettre une majuscule dans mon premier message étant donné que j'insistais sur l'identité de Molière et non sur le rôle de l'adjectif.

Effectivement vous avez complètement raison, j'ai cesser d'écrire car je vois que j'ai créer un grand conflit entre certains forumistes, là je vois que ma que mon sujet a été complètement mis a l'écart et un autre sujet est en cour de discutions.

Vous avez raison mais l’homme est ainsi fait, il reste un grand gamin. Il y a les bons élèves qui ne font de pas faute d’orthographe et d’autres moins bon en ortografe qui jouent aux billes. Dommage qu'un si chouette débat tourne presque systématiquement à la dispute, ou presque... M'enfin c'est souvent comme ça quand il s'agit d'opinions différentes, l'histoire nous le montre 🙁. Pour répondre au sujet initial. Je vis en Belgique, alors oui tout n'est pas parfait, il y a des avantages comme des inconvénients. Je ne connais à l'inverse, pas le Canada (qui me fait beaucoup rêver d'ailleurs) mais point de vue nature, il est clair qu'il n'y a pas photo. La Belgique est un pays très urbanisé bien que le sud-est soit très chouette et vert mais comme partout, il y a de la violence, du chômage mais aussi des gens chaleureux, ouvert et souriant 🙂. Il est très difficile de donner un point de vue global quand on donne un avis d'un point de vue personnelle. Le mieux de tout est de voir par soi-même et je vous souhaite de faire ce qui vous semble la meilleure solution.

Etant moi même Belge immigré au Canada depuis 8 mois maintenant, je pense que ce relativisme du nationalisme est quelque chose de très typique à la Belgique. Je suis fier de mon pays, il représente quand même une partie de qui je suis, mais comparé aux immigrants étrangers (Français, Algériens, Marocains, Italiens...) et aux Québecois eux-même, je peux te dire que ce sentiment d'assimilation à la nation Belge est bien moindre.
Je n'ai pas d'explication quand à ce phénomène mais il peut être un avantage, quand tu es immigrant dans le sens où l'on s'adapte assez facilement. Beaucoup plus de Français retournent en France après quelques années, que de Belges en Belgique.
D'ailleurs je dois t'avouer que la Belgique ne me manque absolument pas (pour le moment), la qualité de vie étant bien supérieure ici. J'ai trouvé du travail en 3 semaines, la nature est superbe, les espaces gigantesques, les gens chaleureux et sympathiques.....bon je te sors tous les clichés du rêve Canadien, mais pour un liégeois, se retrouver ici, ça change du marasme Belge actuel! Bien sûr le système est différent, très centré sur la performance et moins social que notre pays, mais si je l'ai quitté c'est aussi pcq je m'y sentais enfermé alors qu'ici les possibilités y sont plus nombreuses (encore une fois si on est performant).
J'arrête ma propagande ici et conseille cependant à tous les gens qui en ont la possibilité, de voyager le plus possible!
