Watdikhap! These days, the Phra Kreuang are out along with other larger Buddhas to be cleaned and to witness promises of good behavior for the coming year. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you and yours too, Yves.

(And I take this opportunity to thank you here for your collector’s photos in Mrs’s topic—they were a treat, some even tugged at my heartstrings when I saw their 2020 versions...🤪)

See you later, may Buddha be with you.

I'm disappointed... no sign of Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza, or even Patpong in 3D... A frustrating oversight by the TAT.

Hello everyone,

I’m the administrator of magie-thai.com, a site dedicated to authentic Buddhist amulets from Thailand for the French-speaking community. I wanted to thank you for this incredibly rich space for exchange.

Our site was created by a Buddhist enthusiast and practitioner for over 30 years, with the goal of sharing this spiritual wealth under the best possible conditions. Every amulet offered is rigorously selected on-site, directly from temples, with full support to ensure authenticity, provenance, and respect for traditions.

We take great care to inform and guide our clients so they fully understand the symbolism and use of each item, because these amulets aren’t just decorative objects—they’re talismans carrying faith and protection.

If you’re looking for a serious, transparent, and passionate French-speaking site dedicated to this sacred art, magie-thai.com is here to serve you with respect and expertise.

See you soon, The Magie-Thai Team

Haha! That really looks like the little display Y (my Thai partner) sets up for the occasion—what’s missing are a few bones and ashes of her deceased parents, which she keeps religiously in the house. Family members come to perform their little rituals: prayers, sprinkling water on the various objects, making promises, etc. The declaration of good intentions is a key part of Thai psychology!
