J'ai fait un volontariat long terme avec une asso qui s'appelle astovot qui est au togo.
Leurs projets sont :
soutien scolaire, prévention contre le Sida, animation auprès des enfants handicapés. Ils sont ouvert aux nouvelles idées.
Si tu veux plus d'infos sur cette asso ils ont un site internet (tape google et astovot) ou écris moi.

je reviens d'un chantier au togo avec le collectif d'assos de cooperation togo et sans vouloir influencer qui que ce soit je conseille de bien se renseigner sur les assos. en effet, beaucoup ont créé des assos soit disant humanitaire car ils ont observé l'engouement des jeunes pr ce genre d'activité. pres de 70% de ces assos ne sont pas serieuses et se font de l'argent sur le dos des volontaires et des habitants. les missions sont loin d'etre humanitaire et certains sans scrupules ne se genent pas pr revendre les fournitures qu'on leur confie... de plus, les assos inscrits sur le site de cooperation togo profite de ce site d'hebergement (car ca n'est pas plus qu'un simple hebergeur) pour se donner une credibilité qui fait beaucoup defaut sur le terrain.
la prudence est donc de mise. verifier bien que l'assos est franco-togolaise ou suisso-togolaise. en gros qd il y a 2 presidents representant des 2 pays c deja un gage de plus de controle et de moins de derives. comme par exemple l'assos franco-togolaise "as oizou" que j'ai rencontré sur place qq jours avant mon depart. par contre je vous deconseille vivement AMI DU MONDE (asso avec laquelle je suis partie cet été), et ESPACE CULTURE (ils se sont associés pr un été).
je tiens tt de mm a dire que malgre cette mauvaise experience associative, le togo est un beau pays qui vaut la peine qu'on s'y interesse. la population est chaleureuse. alors si vous etes motivé pr aider ses habitants, choisissez bien vos interlocuteur

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
