Prof d'anglais ou d'informatique dans une école bouddhiste.
Bonjour, je suis actuellement volontaire à "l'Institut Bouddhiste de Shamarpa" qui est une grande figure du bouddhisme tibétain. C'est une petite école, avec un peu plus de 100 jeunes moines entre 6 et 22 ans. Shamar Rimpoche ainsi que le Karmapa (le Dalai Lama est le chef de la lignée Geluk, le Karmapa est le chef de la lignée Kagyu!) vivent à Kalimpong, à 1H30 d'ici.
La réputée Darjeeling est à 45min.
L'école est située à environ 2000m d'altitude, tout est très vert. En ce moment c'est l'été, jusqu'en juillet. Vu que je rentre en France, ils ont besoin de qqn pour me remplacer, c'est-à-dire pour lire les leçons d'anglais du livre, faire faire les exercices, préparer une ou deux questions d'interros... (ce n'est pas sorcier) et si possible d'un prof d'informatique, ou l'un ou l'autre ou les deux.

j'ai le projet de partir en Inde pour faire un travail bénévol d'environ 5 mois à partir de mars 2009. Pensez-vous que l'école où vous avez travaillé aura encore besoin de quelqun pour cette périodè? Quelles sont les qualifications nécessaires? (Je dispose d'un très bon niveau d'anglais)

C'est fort possible qu'il aient besoin d'un volontaire pour cette periode.
Le niveau requis... tu dois assurer les cours suivis sur le livre... donc si tu parles bien anglais, c ok.

Âgé de 65 ans, et ayant depuis trois ans donné bénévolement des cours de français langue étrangère à des immigrés de nombreuses nationalités débarqués en Belgique, j'apprécierais donner bénévolement des cours de français à l'étranger, plus dans mes cordes que des cours d'anglais.
J'ai appris l'anglais il y a 38 ans en Californie et ai donc un accent américain qui est très éloigné de l'accent de l'anglais pratiqué en Inde. Je l'ai constaté lors de deux voyage en Inde il y a déjà presqu'une trentaine d'années.
Pensez-vous qu'un bénévole en "français" puisse leur être utile?
Pouvez-vous donner une fourchette des frais moyens à envisager mensuellement (logement, nourriture) en dehors des frais de transport ?
Pouvez-vous indiquer aussi quand commencent les cours et leur durée?
Cela doit intéresser les éventuels candidats au départ.
Ils n'ont pas beosin de cours de francais du tout!
Ils ont besoin d'un prof d'anglais habituellement de mars a novembre. POur cette fois, de mi juin a novembre, mois des test finaux. L'accent... mon propre accent n'est pas parfait, un peu francais, un peu americain! Mais je m'adapte et ils s'y font!
Loge nourri sur place, les frais supplementaires seront minimes... 4 week-ends, 100 euros peut etre.
2 h d'anglais par jour environ, informatique 2h ou 3h.

je t'envie très sincèrement! j'ai découvert le Laddak voici deux ans, lors d'un trk de 15 jours avec une amie et depuis je rêve de pouvoir faire ce genre de chose.Hélas!j'ai encore une fille de quinze ans à la maison qui sera en terminale l'année prochaine.J'ai hâte qu'elle passe son bac et choisisse sa voie pour être enfin dispo.pour faire ce qui me tient à coeur depuis quelques temps déja .Je suis déja à la moitié de ma vie;je n'ai plus de temps à perdre !Je suppose que ton annonce est pour quelqu'un qui serait libre pour plusieurs mois d'affilés, n'est-ce pas? Comme j'aimerais être cette personne!!!Mais je ne me désespère pas : si ce genre d'expérience fait partie de mon chemin de vie, je sais que cela se fera quand ce sera le moment.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
