Voila pour tout vous dire une société française me propose de venir travailler en République Dominicaine pour un salaire de 40 000 pesos/mois, mais franchement je ne sais pas si cela vos le cout.

Oui, cest un bon salaire pour la rep dom. Tu gagneras 10 fois plus que la femme de menage.
Peut on vivre avec ca. Oui, mais pas au niveau standart expat.
Les voitures, l'essence et tous les produits importés sont sensiblement au meme prix qu'en france. La medecine ou les assurances medicales sont payante (voir avec ton employeur s'il paye).
Le mieux c'est de poser la question a ton employeur.
Si le logement, assurance médical, transport (voiture + essence) est inclus dans ton paquet de travail et que tu es vraiment désespéré de quitter la France, à mon avis tu peux tenter l'expérience pour 2 ans maximum et après tu verras si ça te plairait de continuer à vivre en RD.
Franchement tout dépend de la fonction et du niveau d'etude requis, personnellement je ne connais pas un expat a moins de 150 000 pesos au mois plus une partie garantie en Euros a une banque Française, la majorité tourne aux alentours de 200 a 500 000 pesos, 40 000 ne correspondent pas a un ingénieur de bon niveau Dominicain, la moyenne est plus vers 60/70 000/mois.
Personnellement pour 40 000 je reste en France, imagine toi, pour vivre décent, une voiture d'occasion de bon usage coute 500 000, un loyer correct, 20 000, le plein d'essence d'une voiture moyenne 2 400, l'assurance tout risque 30 000/an, l'electricité plus l'eau et le telefone ajoute 3 000/mois, bref, 40 000 oublie le aucune entreprise ne propose un tel salaire au départ de France.

pour etre plus précis je partirai avec un ami a moi, et nous n'avons guère de qualification en france, pour ma pars je suis electricien et a l'heure actuelle je gagne au alentour des 1200€/mois ce qui en france en ce moment (prix du carburant, inflation des prix, hausse des loyer etc...) ne me permette pas non plus de faire des folies!!!!!
nous serions avec mon ami en colocation avec le meme salaire soit 80 000pesos pour tout les deux, les frais de loyer, nouriture etc serai diviser par deux.
honnetement peut on s'en sortir? ou alors est ce vraiment déconseillé de partir!!!!
J'espère que tu connais le peu de normes Américaines en vigueur ici. Ici pas d'ICT, tube IRO meme dans les planchers, epissures a tous les niveaux, fils aux dimensions US, couleur de terre et neutre a ton bon vouloir, bonnes chances. Ici, par ex et j'en connais un, il y a un boulanger Français a SD, son salaire est de +- 90 000 Pesos

Et....si..toujours là, je fait partie des meubles...j'essaye de ne déranger personne, malgré que devant certaines solicitudes ou de réponses me quedo morriendo de la risa....et a la fois perplexe devant ces futurs echecs.
mais...je connais un peu la Rep Dom du Sud au Nord et de L'Est à l'Ouest...et surtout je serais capable de vivre complètement "à la dominicaine) sans électricité, sans eau courante, sans vins et fromages, sans voiture...etc
Pour un expatrié qui veut vivre un peu confortablement, c'est pas assez, en plus à Higuey, c'est vraiment pas la joie, c'est même le désert complet (a part la cathédrale...) Rien, si je devais choisir le seul endroit ou je ne voudrais pas vivre en Rep Dom c'est bien Higuey! et je connais (presque) tout le pays
Bon cherchez de meilleures conditions, car là, cela semble les pires que vous pouvez trouver!
Votre formule à deux, frais partagés, c'est plutôt dangereux, vu les perspectives difficiles dans cet endroit particulier!
Ce ne sont pas les salaires, mais l'endroit de vie loin de tout, qui me paraît la plus grande difficulté à surmonter, surtout sans expérience vécue en Rep Dom.

Je suis juste passée par Higuey pour faire une excursion.
C'est vrai que calà parrait assez loin de tout.
De plus, c'est très sale (beaucoup de papiers et diverses autres choses qui trainent partout, pour un Européen pur et dur, cela peut choquer), les routes sont très "difficiles", ils n'ont pour la plupart pas de permis de conduire et roulent donc un peu n'importe comment. Les motos sont très nombreuses et ils peuvent être 3 sur la même, personne ne porte de casque. Les gens habitant Higuey et travaillant sur la côte, dans les hôtels, viennent en Car.Il y a beaucoup d'accidents.
Enfin, perso je préfèrerais sans doute habiter sur la côte, voir à St Domingue, mais sûrement pas là-bas.
N'oublions pas certains "Bidonvilles" et sans doute la dangerosité de vivre là-bas. Il peut y avoir une superbe maison "fortifiée" avec des grilles et, à côté, un taudis où s'entassent nombre de personnes. Je pense que psychologiquement ces conditions peuvent être difficiles.
Sinon je ne connais pas le salaire moyen d'un expat mais j'espère t'avoir un peu aidé.
