Bonjour, pour commencer je vous souhaite bon courage! j'ai vécu à Cabarete et ouvrir un resto demande du bon marketing, j'en ai vu des restos ouvrir mais fermer aussi très vite manque de clientèle. Question papiers, j'irai en premier faire un visa travail auprès du consulat Dominicain et leur demanderai conseil et une fois sur place prendre un avocat pour régler les papiers. Bon courage aussi pour la corruption.....vous avez intérêt à vous faire copains avec les flics et après vous serez tranquille.....c'est par expérience que je vous le dit. Et pour la douane?.... pour un simple paquet avec habits et jouets pour mes enfants, je retrouvais un quart de ce qu'on m'avais envoyé. Franchement, BON COURAGE! il faut avoir leur mentalité et vous dire que s'il y a un problème il se réglera "DEMAIN OU UN JOUR"...moi étant qq de très droite cet endroit ne me convient pas. Par contre les gens sont adorables, j'ai beaucoup de copains à Cabarete que je contacte souvent et que je revois tous les 3 ans.😉

par ailleurs, pourquoi veux tu te compliquer la vie des le depart?
mettre en place une filiere d`importation.....
si tu fais un petit restaurant, qu`est ce que tu vas importer?
2 caisses de vin, un jambon de bayonne et 10 livres d`andouillette par mois?
Nous avons ici d`excellents produits naturels et non industriels ni ogm
la viande de boeuf est excellente et pas grasse du tout, les poulets peuvent s`acheter aux locaux et ne sont pas des poulets d`elevage, les fruits et les legumes sont savoureux, il va sans dire que le poissons, crevettes, crustaces...egalement, meme des produits fabriques ici sont excellents...le jambon campo frio est aussi bon que le jambon au torchon de nos industriels, avec un jarret de porc et des cotelettes de porc fumes, un chou d`ici...tu as tout pour faire une fabuleuse choucroute....par exemple
et, pour accompagner, la biere Presidente n`as rien a envier a la kronenbourg.....
enfin, en ce qui concerne la corruption....ben oui, elle existe. Mais sais tu que le port de new york est aux mains de la mafia?
alors si tu veux te lancer dans l`importation....ne viens pas te plaindre si tu te trouves en plein dans la corruption...hein
le meilleur moyen de ne pas y etre soumis, c`est de respecter ses obligations
payer ta licence de restauration et celle des boissons alccolisees
faire tes declarations d`itbis.....
contrats de travail a tes employes...
avoir des de bonnes relations avec ton environnement...et faire de la bonne cuisine
quant a faire copain avec les flics...je ne te le conseille pas
si tu a affaire a eux, tu les traites avec courtoisie et respect
mais tu restes ferme sur tes positions
les tribunaux de la repdom sont tres competents et plutot justes ( une majorite des magistrats sont des femmes...)

n`ecoute pas les gens qui vont te dire ce que tu as envie d`entendre et te promettre la lune

Sylvain, Lit attentivement les message de HCGAIA plus bas, cette personne semble bien connaître la RD et aussi les commerces. Je vie à Cabarete 6 mois par année depuis plusieurs années et j'ai vue beaucoup de commerces et de restos ouvrir une saisons et ne plus y être la saisons suivante. Il faut avoir les reins solide pour demeurer en affaire durant la saison basse qui est d'Avril à Décembre. Tu as tout au plus 5 mois pour rentabiliser ton opération. Ce n'est pas beaucoup. Viens vivre dans la région pour 1 an avant de décider d'y installer un commerce, apprend à connaître les rudiments des affaires en RD, même si tu as de l'expérience dans d'autre pays tu verras que ce n'est pas pareil ici. ton projet me semble bien peu pense....

Je viens de faire un petit tour d'une partie de la RD avec une personne qui connait bien et j'en ai rencontré des étrangers installés ici et depuis longtemps et tous m'ont tenu le même discours, ils sont emmerdés sans arrêt soit l'un soit l'autre.
Alors imagine si des personnes qui sont installés depuis plus de 15 ans pour certains ont des problèmes un nouveau venu qui n'a pas étudié le marché.
