J'aimerai avec une amie passer une semaine en Espagne cet été, à Barcelone précisement. Nous avons 16 ans toutes les deux, & nous voulons être loger dans une famille d'accueil qui ne parle strictement qu'Espagnol. Nous aimerions éviter les éternels cours dans les séjours linguistiques.Ce serait du 19-20 juin au 26-27 juin, soit une semaine. Bien sûr, nous cherchons un hébergemment pas trop cher.
Nous voulons nous plonger dans le monde espagnol 😉
Alors si vous connaissez des familles espagnoles, barcelonaises, chaleureuse qui serait près à nous accueillir pour une semaine 😉

Si c'est pour l'apprentissage et la pratique de l'espagnol, autrement dit, du castellano, il n'est pas certain que Barcelone et la Catalogne soit la bonne destination.
Tu as de grandes probabilités pour "tomber" sur des gens qui ne parleront pas l'espagnol mais le catalan 🙁

Pour nous, Barcelone est un peu une obligation, parce que j'y suis déjà aller une fois, & j'ai de la famille là-bas, au cas où il y aurait un problème ou je ne sais quoi...

Il y certes des catalans, donc des barcelonais qui pratiquent le castillan, mais c'est une minorité.
La langue des contacts sociaux, de la presse, de la radio ... c'est le catalan 😕
Il en est de même, à un degré moindre, mais en pleine progression, de la pratique du valentien sur tout le littoral du Levante.
Dans le nord ouest, le problème se répètera avec la prééminence du gallego ou de l'euskara.
Pour une pratique assurée du castellano dans tous les moments de la journée et des actes de la vie sociale, je dirai en "gros" toutes les provinces au sud de l'Ebre (Castille, Andalousie, Extremadure...)
Mais le Catalan est vraiment vraiment différent du castillan? 😕
Bon je crois qu'on va se résigner à aller dans un des ces fameux séjours linguistique avec des cours d'espagnol...Dommâge 🙁 Ou voir les familles d'accueil dans l'andalousie, etc...Oh😕Je suis un peu déçu là...

Juste pour te "donner une idée" : lorsqu'un discours, d'un homme politique par exemple, est réalisé en catalan, et diffusé à la télé, il est sous-titré pour que les espagnols puissent le comprendre 😕
Idem pour le galicien, le basque, le valentien ...

pour parler vraiment castillan, on conseille Salamanque .Mais ce n'est pas au bord de mer.Par contre l'hébergement y est beaucoup moins cher qu'à Barcelone.
La Catalogne est parfaitement bilingue castillan-catalan. Tu apprendras aussi bien "l'Espagnol" à Barcelone qu'à Madrid. Il y a quelques chaines de TV ou de radio en catalan mais la grande majorité est en castillan. Même le journal "regional" qui a le plus gros tirage en Catalogne, La Vangardía, est en castillan. Barcelone est très cosmopolite, les gens sont habitués à voir des étrangers ne parlant pas catalan et cela ne leur pose aucun problème (seuls quelques très très rares abrutis mais il y en a dans tous les pays). Sans compter tous les Espagnols venant d'autres régions pour travailler en Catalogne.
Tu peux prendre des cours de castillan gratuits dans les centres International House en Juillet-Août (tu ne payes que les frais administratifs et de photocopie, genre 30€ par mois). Les profs sont de jeunes "élèves profs" qui viennent de partout en Espagne. Les cours durent deux heures par jour mais tu rencontras beaucoup de monde là bas.
J'avais débuté "l'espagnol" à Barcelone durant un été en partant presque de 0 et au bout de deux mois j'avais un niveau bien supérieur au niveau universitaire français*. L'ambiance était excellente, c'était du sacré bon temps ! C'est sans doute une des meilleures villes d'Espagne.
Bref, te laisses pas embobiner par les discours bidons sur le catalan. D'autant plus que cette langue est encore plus intelligible pour nous français que le castillan, du moins à l'écrit.
NB : dans les auberges de jeunesse ça parle surtout anglais, trouve toi une collocation sur www.loquo.com
* bon c'est vrai qu'en France le niveau de langue est tellement bas que c'est pas non plus une référence

Ok dans ce cas là, si tu cherches la pureté linguistique, tu peux virer de tes choix : Cataluña, Comunidad Valenciana, Baleares (variétés de catalan), País Vasco (basque), Galicia (gallego), Andalucia (dialecte andalou et accent imcomprehensible) et tous les pays sudaméricains.
A par le fait que cet article résume très la connerie de certains catalans (les 30% qui continuent de parler catalan bien que leur interlocuteur leur réponde en castillan), je ne vois pas le rapport...
Par contre, je ne pensais pas que les cons étaient aussi nombreux en Catalogne. Désolé mais c'est vraiment une attitude de repli identitaire et d'intolérance que je peux pas blairer. Leur problème c'est qu'ils croient pouvoir convaincre les non-catalanophones à apprendre leur idiome plus par la contrainte que simplement en comptant sur leur rayonnement culturel. Ceci explique peut être leur réputation désastreuse dans le reste de l'Espagne, où ils sont vus comme très arrogants.
A coté de ça, on a la Comunidad Valenciana où l'on peut choisir librement d'étudier une matière à l'université en valencien, espagnol ou anglais. Les cours de valencien sont gratuits et ceux qui l'étudient le font par intérêt non pas parce ce qu'ils sont forcés par la population. Enfin bon, le coup de la défense de la langue au bord de l'extinction c'est un classique des politicards de Catalgone. C'est un truc qui se vend bien.
Et l'histoire des 90% de la population de la région qui comprend la langue locale brandie comme un argument choc c'est vraiment bidon. Comment faire ce genre de comparaison quand un espagnol ou un étranger peut par exemple comprendre 50% quand on lui parle en catalan contre 100% quand on lui parle en castillan....
D'ailleurs, ca m'est arrivé il y a quelques jours dans un concert okupa... le mec voulait absolument me parler mais seulement en valencià à cause de ce genre de campagne à la con... je l'ai laissé en plan pour chopper une bière, la conversation était devenue tellement penible que ça n'avait aucun interêt... faut savoir ce que tu veux, discuter pour discuter ou faire de la propagande pour une langue
Yep, les langues sont faites pour communiquer. Point. Le reste n'est que nationalisme (puant).
D'ailleurs si ces 30% voyagaient en France et que tout le monde refusait de leur parler en anglais, tout ça pour leur vendre notre langue (ils n'avaient qu'à l'apprendre avant de venir chez nous) celle de notre patrie (beurk), ce seraient les premiers à nous traiter de franchutes-gabachos arrogants...
