Bonjour, j ai monte une association avec une amie(http://perso.wanadoo.fr/unispourlenfance) et nous sommes cet été en Inde dans un orphelinat. Nous avions monté un projet qui consistait à récolter des produits d'hyginène (savons et shampoings donnés par le groupe Unilever) et des cahiers (donnés par Clairefontaine) puis à payer le transport. Nous avons donc organisé des ventes de gâteux, concert etc pour financer l'acheminement jusqu'en Inde.
L'été prochain nous aimerions faire quelque chose de plus "important", avec plus de participants au projet et recolter plus d'argent avec des bourses, des ventes de cartes de voeux, etc. Nous avons quelques idées comme construire une bibliothèque, des toilettes ou encore payer des médecins locaux pour des consultations médicales et financer des soins etc. Mais tout dépendera des besoins sur place.
Cette année, nous aimerions partir en Amerique du Sud dans un orphelinat et nous pensions au Mexique. Nous voulions donc savoir si l'un d'entre vous connaissait une adresse d'orphelinat avec qui il serait possible de faire une action bénévole.

moi c Agnès, étudiante sur Toulouse: mon projet actuel est de partir comme volontaire travailler dans un orphelinat au Mexique; je suis en plein dans la paperasse pour essayer d'obtenir des bourses et vu que c la 1er fois que je fais çà, j'avoue que j'ai un peu du mal à y voir clair.Je préfére partir individuellement pour m'immerger davantages dans la culture (les "troupeaux" humanitaires me font peur), mais votre expérience me paraît très utile, ne serait)ce que dans le montage de projet.
A titre individuel, mes moyens sont très réduits, ma connaissance du pays quasi nulle donc celle des besoins du mexique en matière d'éducation aussi.C'est l'occasion de faire des recherches me répondrez-vous, mais je pense que rien ne vaut l'observation sur le terrain avant de monter ce genre de projet.
Une question: pourquoi le Mexique?
Moi c parceque j'y suis née mais n'y est restée que 2 ans, alors grosse frustration car j'ai perdu l'espagnol et aimerais retrouver mon pays natal, aussi parceque je m'interesse de près à la situation politique actuelle là-bas.
Voilà, je peux vous tenir informées si je trouve un orphelinat là-bas, en espérant que se sera réciproque, pour, pourquoi pas, y aller ensemble...inch'allah

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
