Je suis actuellement éducatrice dans un foyer accueillant des adolescents délinquants ou qui ont des difficultés familiales. C'est un travail qui me plaît mais mes différents séjours à l'étranger (plus particulièrement ceux en Tunisie et en Egypte) m'ont donné envie de voyager plus et plus longtemps. Chaque retour de vacances est un véritable déchirement et la vie que j'ai ici en France est loin de me satisfaire.😕 Je ne sais pas si je serais plus heureuse ailleurs mais je sais au fond de moi que j'ai vraiment envie de découvrir d'autres cultures et d'autres horizons.
Mais voilà, ce n'est pas si simple de se lancer... L'envie est très présente mais je ne sais pas trop par où commencer, si j'aurais le courage de concrétiser ce rêve, si j'en suis capable seule... Alors je me tourne vers vous tous pour m'aider à y voir plus clair, me conseiller si vous le pouvez.
J'aurais, d'ici le mois de septembre 2010, assez d'ancienneté dans l'établissement où je travaille pour demander un congé sabbatique qui peut aller de 6 à 11 mois. Cela me laisse du temps pour construire un projet et mes congés d'été seront l'occasion de partir en repérage! Avec mon diplôme d'éducatrice, je peux aussi bien travailler avec des enfants, des adolescents ou des adultes en difficultés (délinquance, maltraitance, handicap...), et je dois aussi pouvoir travailler en crèche ou en orphelinat suivant les pays... Car ça aussi c'est un problème: je ne sais pas vraiment où je voudrais aller! J'affectionne beaucoup la culture orientale et le côté chaleureux et convivial des habitants, mais finalement, je ne serais pas non plus contre découvrir d'autres pays, d'autres gens. La question reste donc ouverte. Je fais déjà le pas de faire toutes ces recherches, ce qui me pousse à penser que c'est sans doute le bon choix, même si ce n'est pas évident de tout quitter!!

Mais tu dois penser à :
- demarche administratif pour travailler dans le pays
- parler la langue
- les revenus que tu pourras obtenir et si cela sera suffisant pour en vivre
Oui, c'est sûr, je dois faire mon choix par moi-même mais il est toujours bon de recueillir différents avis et de s'enrichir des expériences d'autres personnes pour se décider!!

Je profiterais plutôt du congé pour explorer un peu, voyager un peu, question de mieux cerner ton projet. Tu n'as pas a faire un choix définitif. Il faut savoir ce que tu recherches exactement aussi...seule toi peut le decouvrir. Garde aussi en tête que tes diplômes ne sont pas forcément reconnus ailleurs, ce qui peut te pousser a te reorienter professionnellement.

Apres quelques annees tu deviens une etrangere dans ton propre pays!!!
Mais le monde est grand et il y a toujours un endroi ou tu aurras envie de vivre.
Avant de t'expatrier tu dois deterniner le pays qui penses-tu te conviendra le mieux, recolter un maximun d'informations....
Faire un voyage pour confirmer ces informations, et etre vraiment sure que cet endroit est fait pour toi... Ensuite il faut compter environs 6 mois pour tout planifier, formalitee administrative...ect...ect...
Au final c'est ta volontee, et deternination qui te guidera.

Oui, toutes ces questions me trottent dans la tête depuis longtemps et ces inquiétudes sont surement l'une des raisons pour laquelle je suis encore ici. Je pense effectivement qu'il sera difficile de revenir, si je me décide enfin à courir le monde, mais pour l'instant, c'est le fait de partir qui m'effraie encore un peu.
Je parle un peu anglais mais je devrais aussi travailler ça avant de me lancer à l'aventure car je suis consciente que c'est essentiel.
En tout cas, merci de m'avoir donné un peu de ton temps et pour tes bons conseils.

Ce sujet date de quelques mois mais en le lisant je me posais la question de savoir si ton projet et surtout tes envies avaient évolué :) Je désire trop partir aussi et brisé la routine, voir d'autre horizon, et chaque voyage que je fais est tellement enrichissant, le retour est dur et que dire de vide lorsque l'on rentre "chez soi". Enfin voilà, je me reconnaissais en te lisant ^^ lol :) Je pars bientôt aussi! L'envie est trop forte! :D
En tout cas je t'encourage vivement à réaliser ton projet, on se met beaucoup de barrières et quelques part c'est un peu la réalité, pas facile de tout quitter, il y a tellement de chose à anticiper, à préparer, mais tellement de chose à gagner à la clef.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
Are there any special requirements before leaving France (aside from taxes...)?

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. We mainly speak French, with a basic level of Spanish and English, and we’re ready to improve these two languages if needed. We’re looking for a multicultural, safe country with quality healthcare and good schools accessible for our son. We’d also love a pleasant place with a mild climate where life is good.
