Je vais partir à Bombay 3 semaines dans un but humanitaire, je vais dans un bidonville avec une assoc étudiante mais j'aurais souhaiter voir s'il était possible de proposer mon aide dans un orphelinat, à moins que vous connaissiez sinon une association s'occupant des enfants des rues?
En fait je voudrai apporter mon aide à des enfants, donc si vous avez une suggestion...

Ma fille a fait du volontaria à Bombay en 2004 et y retourne cette annee (du 18/06-28/07).

Pour ma part je pars 3 semaines à Bombay pour faire des soins infirmiers dans un bidonville et je pars ensuite explorer 3 autres semaines comme je le pourrai avec une copine le nord ouest de l'inde!
Et si quelqu'un connait des associations pour l'aide aux enfants des rues, n'hésitez pas à m'en faire part!
Pour Florence: je suis en fac de médecine et l'assoc avec laquelle je pars s'appelle EVADEH.org .
J'ai vu que tu habitais à cannes...ma fac est au sud de Paris...mais je pense qu'il doit exister d'autres assoc similaires! Regarde s'il n'y a pas de fac de médecine avec de telles assoc dans ta région, mais bon la médecine, c'est pas tout! Tu trouveras peut être d'autres organismes!
Penses aussi aux chantiers bénévoles! C'est vraiment super!!! et peut être aussi aux scouts? Ou même d' en montez une toi même!!
Et sinon, je peux toujours te donner + d'infos sur evadeh, mais tout en sachant qu'on se réunit toutes les semaines, que l'on fait des ventes de gâteaux, emballages de papiers cadeaux à noël...ce qui demande d'être sur place...
Mais je sais que certaines personnes qui n'avaient rien fait par manque de disponibilité, ont pu partir en payant certains frais que je ne paierai pas car j'ai participé à la récolte de fonds!

Le mieux c'es que tu envoies un petit msg à Sandra. C'est un foyer de Mere Theresa ou elle va à Bombay. Elle y est la journee et le soir elle dors dans un autre endroit. Pour l'hebergement elle paye un prix modique. (Je ne connais pas avec precision le montant).
Ont-ils encore besoin de monde ?? Je pense que toute aide extérieure est la bienvenue.

apres tu farfouilles dans tous les sites tu vas bien finir par trouver l'orphelinat que tu cherches, et ce lui qui te correspond le mieux, une fois que tu auras trouvé quelques pistes tu pourras essayer de trouver des gens qui y sont dejà allés je pense ...

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
