j'ai lu déjà de nombreux post à ce sujet mais j'ai besoin d'information supplémentaires:
je suis française et j'ai fait ma demande de carte de résident il y a deux mois, j'ai donc le fameux récépissé, je précise que c'est ma première demande
je suis en train d'acheter une voiture ici au Maroc et évidement je découvre que sans ma carte de résident je ne peux pas faire les papiers de ma voiture!
et il semble que le délai pour obtenir la carte soit très très long (on me dit jusqu'a 6 à 8 mois)
évidement j'ai prévu de rentrer en France début juillet pour les vacances..
donc j'ai plusieurs questions:
- est ce que je peux sortir du maroc avec cette voiture au nom de l'ancien propriétaire (avec procuration, assurance etc etc) et mon récépissé de demande de carte? comme si il me l'a pretait en somme?
- si j'ai ma carte avant juillet, est ce que la carte grise provisoire m'autorise à sortir avec ma voiture?
- si un ami français qui a sa carte de resident fait les papiers de la voiture à son nom , est ce qu'il peut me la prêter pour que je parte en France avec???
bref vous l'avez compris je cherche une solution!
je cherche également où avoir des informations légales à ce sujet bureau de douanes, ou site car je n'ai pas trouvé l'information exacte..

Normalement, avec le récépissé, on peut avoir la carte grise .. il faut trouver la solution dans ce sens.. il ne faut pas hésiter à demander à un intermédiaire pour accomplir les procédures .. avec participation aux frais 😇

les services administratifs sont compétents pour répondre à tes questions : douanes marocaine .. consulat français ou espagnole, etc.
Hors du territoire marocain rien ne t'empêches de circuler avec un véhicule immatriculé au Maroc...carte grise, assurance suffiront -a priori- en cas de contrôle en France ou en Espagne.
La seule question que j'ai eu en France avec ma voiture marocaine, c'est le délai .. la date d'entrée .. les six mois maxi. La voiture était à mon nom.

Je te conseille, si tu ne veux pas prendre le risque de te faire refouler à la frontière de contacter les administrations compétentes. Tu te rends dans un commissariat et tu contactes le service des douanes et tu auras les vraies infos. Ainsi tu pourras mieux profiter de ton voyage sans avoir le souci de ne pas savoir à quelle sauce tu vas être mangée par la gente douanière.

Je suis pratiquement certain que tu peux tirer un trait sur ton retour en voiture car pour avoir ta carte grise il te faut le permis de séjour et à partir de la date de dépôt de la demande de carte grise il te faut compter un minimum de deux mois avant de l’obtenir. Fais le calcul !!
Donc si il y a un délai de deux mois pour avoir la carte grise..tu sous entend que la carte grise provisoire ne suffit pas pour sortir du territoire! ...oh la la ! je ne suis pas sortie de l'auberge comme on dit en France!

Je crois que la première question que tu dois te poser est:" puis-je sortir du Maroc avec une carte grise provisoire??
N'oublies pas que si tu as achetée la voiture d'occasion tu n'as qu'une carte grise provisoire donc tu ne peux pas prétendre à la douane que l'ancien proprio t'a prêté la voiture.
Donc soit comme te le dis Charly 92 " prends l'avion cette année" où alors assures toi de ton droit car c'est un problème pour sortir du Maroc mais tu verras que c'est aussi un problème pour rentrer.
Un conseil, si tu es au Maroc depuis plus de 3 mois, n'oublies pas ton récépissé de demande de carte de séjour lorsque tu quittes le Maroc afin de justifier la raison pour laquelle tu n'as pas quitté le pays au bout des 90 jours.

cette personne a acheté la voiture et dispose une procuration pour la conduire
A la douane, si fréquent, les conducteurs, si nombreux, ne sont pas les propriétaires de leur véhicule : ils ont
1. une procuration,
2. la carte grise
3. une attestation de l'assurance.
Si, il y aura un problème car tu ne peux résider plus de 90 jours au Maroc si tu ne justifies d'une carte de résident. Donc avec un passeport qui a été visé depuis plus de trois mois, tu t'exposes à un problème à la frontière si tu n’as pas ton récépissé.
En ce qui concerne de rentrer avec la voiture marocaine, il y aura un problème dans la mesure où si comme le dit Titju, elle vient d'acheter la voiture et qu'elle n'a pas les papiers définitifs. Si elle a malgré tout réussi à sortir du Maroc, elle a de grandes chances ou plutôt malchances de se retrouver confrontée au zèle des autorités au retour d’où mon conseil de ne rien faire sans consulter les autorités.

Voila ce qu'a écrit Titju et voilà pourquoi je parle de prêt de voiture.
Titju n'a pas une procuration mais une carte grise provisoire ce qui est complètement différent. Soit la voiture est prêtée, soit elle est vendue mais elle ne peux être les deux à la foi à la même personne.

en fait je suis dans une situation assez étrange puisque l'achat de ma voiture n'a pas été finalisée...
donc c'est comme si le propriétaire me l'a prêtait sauf qu'en fait je l’achète...je suis entre deux...sais pas vraiment si c'est légale ça mais bon c'est pas vraiment le problème...le fait est que je peux m'assoeir sur mon petit périple et trouver un garage pour ma voiture...
reste à savoir si la carte grise provisoire permet de sortir du territoire marocain et ça c'est en espérant que ma carte de résident arrive relativement bientôt...
sinon sortir par avion bateau etc mais sans voiture et avec mon récépissé!!!

Tu peux immatriculer un véhicule avec le simple récépissé de dépôt de ta carte de séjour ...
Il a la même valeur, au même titre qu' il te permet de rester au delà des 3 mois, en allant le faire prolonger, ou de sortir toi même du territoire, et d'y revenir.

J'ai moi même immatriculé ma voiture avec seulement mon récépissé.
Ça n'a pas posé de problème.
Et j'ai eu ma carte grise provisoire.
Ça dépend bien sûr des préfectures, mais il faut compter, pour une première fois, 3 à 4 mois pour avoir la carte définitive.
Au renouvellement, c'est 2 mois.
Maintenant, si tu n'as pas finalisé l'achat, évidemment, c'est plus compliqué ...
Par contre, je ne sais pas si avec une carte grise provisoire, on peut sortir un véhicule du Maroc.

quand je dis que je n'ai pas finalisé l'achat c'est qu'au bureau pour l'immatriculation , ils n'ont pas voulu immatriculer la voiture à mon nom parce que je n'avais pas la carte de résident mais juste le récépissé......donc l'achat n'est pas finalisé car nous sommes bloqués dans les démarches administratives...
voilà j'espère que c'est clair ..j'ai l'impression que c'est bien compliqué tout ça....
je ne sais plus trop à quel saint me vouer!
je précise également que sur mon récépissé il est inscrit "Récépissé de demande de carte de séjour", et plus bas une case est coché: 1ère immatriculation.

après avoir été au bureau des douanes de rabat, il s’avère tout à fait possible de sortir du territoire marocain avec la carte grise provisoire...maintenant il faut voir si cela ne pose pas de problème aux douaniers en espagne et en France.

J'ai donc acheté une voiture ici avec ma carte de résident,
je suis sortie du territoire marocain pour aller en France, avec une carte grise provisoire marocaine, et une assurance internationale,
pas eu de soucis ni avec la douane marocaine, ni avec la douane française.
et aucuns soucis au retour non plus..et pas eu besoin de remplir la feuille jaune pour entrer au Maroc étant donné que la voiture est marocaine!

Tout c'est bien passé parce que les douaniers marocains et espagnoles ont controlés tes documents et tout était en règle ou simplement parceque tu es passé sans être contrôlé?
Je dis douane espagnole car tu n'es pas contrôlé par la douane française en sortant du Maroc.

Encore une info importante! ma carte grise provisoire n'était valable que 60 jours...elle a donc périmée ...mi aout!!!..
nous le savions avant de partir et nous avons tout fait pour:
- avoir la carte grise définitive
- avoir directement une prolongation jusqu’à la date de notre retour...3 septembre
- pris des renseignements à la douane de rabat....etc etc etc
finalement sur les conseils d'un monsieur du centre d'immatriculation....nous avons nous même tamponné la carte grise provisoire pour prolonger sa validité ....mmh....pas très fier mais bon...
j'ai passé la douane un peu inquiète..mais finalement le douanier n'a rien dit en regardant notre carte grise provisoire....
je vous passe le fou rire et l’étonnement de la famille en France quand ils nous ont vu chercher partout en vieux tampon dateur et de l'encre bleue turquoise....!

Il faut que tu saches que en sortant une voiture comme ça , on s'expose à
un genre de problème comme celui qui suit ; un gars est arrivé en France
sans problème avec un 4X4 Honda ! Il tpmbe en panne et se depêche vers
un garage "honda" ! O.K ; quelques jours après, il est prié de se présenter
au commissariat pour demande d'information !...
En fait le 4X4 en question était un véhicule recherché ( volé ) et là , le pauvre
gars a eu tous les déboires possibles des deux côtés de la frontière !
Ce qui m'emmènes à vous demander à tous beaucoup de prudence dans ce genre

Merci pour l'info. Car moi aussi j'ai que la carte grise provisoire et je compte voyager le 11 décembre. Je me suis renseigné au service des mines mais leur réponse étaient assez mitigées. En fait un ancien chef de la douane c'est renseigné pour moi et en fait c'est pour ceux qui ont acheté une voiture neuve à crédit qui n'est pas possible avec de quitter le territoire marocain. Une personne peut acheter une voiture à crédit, sortir du Maroc et ne pas revenir. Tandis que si tu l'as acheté cash il m'a dit que ça ne pose aucun problème meme avec la carte grise provisoire

The information I’ve found about whether an international permit is required is contradictory. Some sources say you need one, others say you don’t.
Could anyone let me know if an international driver’s permit is necessary to rent a car in Australia (Perth), or if a French license is enough for a 7-day rental?
I’m a bit embarrassed because I need to travel to Quebec from February 27th to March 13th. I’m a regular visitor to Canada—this will be my 10th trip since 1997, plus a year as a permanent resident (2000–2001) and a cross-country run from Vancouver to Halifax in 2011. So, I’m definitely not a terrorist!
But since our last trip in July 2015, they’ve introduced this eTA thing. Seems more like a way to make money than to actually secure Canada, if you ask me, but anyway, that’s not the point.
I applied for an eTA for myself, my wife, and our two kids. They all got approved within hours, but not me! I was asked to create a GC key and then an IRCC account, which I did. Normally, you get news within 72 hours, but since Monday, January 15th, nothing!
In the "message" section of the account, it says "explanation letter (required)" with a deadline of January 25th, but I can’t find any explanation anywhere—despite searching the Canadian government website and Google. No links, nothing!
I’ve emailed them but haven’t heard back yet. I’m thinking of calling the Canadian embassy in Paris tomorrow. Even though I’m not stressing yet, it’d be a bummer if everyone else got to go without me!
If anyone’s had this issue before or knows what this explanation letter is about, I’d love to hear more.

I’m heading to Seoul in September, and to do that I need to get a travel authorization that we apply for through K-ETA....... turns out I can (barely, I admit) fill out the form up to the address of our "stay location," but every address I’ve entered has been rejected by the system. I’ve tried my hotel, the Lotte Hotel (which is well-known in Seoul), the airport—basically, I’ve entered at least 20 addresses, all rejected....
So, to anyone who’s successfully gotten the authorization, could you tell me which address you used to get that "elusive" approval?...

I’m planning a trip from France to Alberta/British Columbia, and I’m unsure about which bank card to use for the security deposit with the rental company (I’m thinking of going with AVIS).
I contacted Avis Canada, and they told me a credit card is absolutely required. I asked my bank for a credit card (a *real* credit card), but they only offered me a deferred debit card.
My question: For a rental with Avis Canada, is a Gold International Mastercard deferred debit card usable for the security deposit needed to finalize the rental? Is the "CREDIT" label enough? (Some cards say "CREDIT" and others say "CARTE DE CREDIT"—seems minor, but it’s actually a big deal in how the card works.)
I’ve seen conflicting info everywhere I look... My bank says it’s *usually* okay (the deferred debit card), while Avis Canada insists it *must* be a credit card, not debit—even when I mention the deferred debit card.
I know the whole credit card concept is already confusing, and on top of that, some sites say a deferred debit card counts as a credit card, while others say it doesn’t.

I bought a one-way flight (Ryanair) and a return flight (EasyJet) to spend a week in Morocco in April.
My passport expires 3 weeks after the return date.
Some websites say the passport must be valid for 3 months at the time of entry.
However, it will still be valid both on entry and return, but its validity will only be 1 month at the time of entry (and 3 weeks on the return date, everything prepaid).
It's an individual family trip.
The consulate can't give me an answer—they're still looking into it (really!)
Last year, we stayed for 3 months in Thailand, north of Khao Lak, and were able to benefit from the 2-month visa exemption, renewable for one month by going to Takua Pa to validate a 1-month extension (1,900 baht).
This year, it’s a disaster for us—not only were we planning a 4-month stay, adding a visa run in between (which some say is quite risky), but the law is apparently changing in the coming months with the return of the 1-month exemption (plus the usual 1-month option). So, we looked into applying for a 6-month multiple-entry visa, allowing a maximum of 60 consecutive days in Thailand. However, I can’t find anywhere the minimum time required outside Thailand between two stays—do any of you have an idea?

As a French national, I need to obtain a short-stay visa that can be converted to a long-stay one. To do this, I have to send the required documents to the Madagascar embassy in Paris.
No issues with that procedure so far.
If I get this visa, once I arrive in Madagascar, I’ll need to provide the same documents to the Ministry of the Interior in Anosy. I’m trying to find an email address or website for the Ministry to check which documents I need to submit (I think they ask for additional ones).

I’d like to know if anyone has already applied for a private visa to Russia with an invitation from a Russian resident.
I traveled earlier this year with an e-visa, but since I want to stay longer, I’ll be visiting my friend who lives in eastern Russia.
For the visa application, does the invitation need to be on an official paper form issued by the Russian ministry? And most importantly, do I need to present the original for the application, or is there an electronic version that can be sent directly to the consulate in France?

I filled out the B2 form to apply for a visa, created an account on Atvis to pay the visa fees and schedule a meet-up, but every time I try to pay with my Boursobank Visa 1st card, they refuse the payment with a message telling me to check my details (address), even though everything is correct. Does anyone know why this is happening, or maybe they don’t accept Visa cards? Are you aware of this?

I’ve read that China may ask for proof of exit within 30 days (flight ticket or other reservation). Since we’d be leaving by land, I’m wondering how this works in practice.

On her ticket, it only has her maiden name (e.g., Martine DUPOND).
On her passport, it’s written as Martine DUPOND épouse AVRY.
No issues for travel, I hope I did the right thing with the ticket?
Then for the ESTA, is just Martine DUPOND enough, or do I need to include the "épouse AVRY" part like on the passport?

I saw on the French Embassy in Peru’s website and the Peruvian Consulate in Paris’s site that the rule is to have a passport valid for 6 months *after the arrival date* (not the return date).
I arrive in Peru on August 13, 2019 (for about twelve days), and my passport is valid until February 16, 2020.
That’s 6 months and 3 days after my arrival date in Peru. In my opinion, I’m good to go.
But could I still be denied entry if they say I don’t cover the return date or that I’m too close to the 6-month mark?

My departure is slowly approaching, and now that I’ve got my Russian visa sorted, I’m fine-tuning the rest of my trip to Tajikistan. Since the Tajik visa is no longer required for stays under 30 days (for French nationals), I’ll need to visit the Ministry of Interior (OVIR) to register within 10 days of entering the country. No big deal, though, since I had to go there anyway to apply for my GBAO permit. 😉 However, I’ve *seen* several reports from travelers (mostly motorized) mentioning that you need an entry permit for Kyrgyzstan, which has to be arranged in advance at the Kyrgyz Ministry (consulate?) in Dushanbe. Otherwise, you’re *stuck* at the Kyzyl-Art border (with no Wi-Fi, of course, to try and sort it out). The most recent report was from a year ago, so I’d love to know if this is still the case and if it’s indeed at the Kyrgyz Ministry (consulate?) where you need to go for this pre-authorization.

I’m leaving for almost 3 months in the Philippines (11 weeks total) starting in early May.
I already have my round-trip ticket.
The problem is, I don’t have time to get a 2-month visa because the process takes nearly a month.
From what I’ve read here and there, I need a return ticket valid for less than a month when I arrive in the Philippines to prove my good faith.
After that, I can apply for a 30-day extension at the immigration office.
I’m planning to either buy a fully refundable ticket to the nearest country or a fake ticket.
For 3 months, I’ll need to extend my visa two more times before my return date to France.
My question is this:
Will immigration ask me each time I extend my visa by one month to show proof of an exit ticket matching the new visa extension date?
Is it possible to extend directly by 2 months before the initial 30 days expire?
