Nous travaillons tous deux dans l'hôtellerie depuis quelque temps et souhaitons trouver un poste intéressant la bas.
Nous aimerions trouver du travail avant de partir mais actuellement en poste en France nous ne somme dispo qu'a partir de janvier 2013.
J'ai déjà envoyé des CV à deux agences mais en vain.
Avez vous des idées de comment procéder pour trouver dans un délai éloigné comme le notre?
Et avez vous également des pistes car nous n'avons pas encore choisi de destination (bristol, londres, cambridge, birminghan, oxford leeds, manchester ou plus au sud ?? )
Nous aimerions une ville sympa qui bouge sans payer une fortune pour le logement ?

De plus en plus de français souhaitent s'expatrier : c'est une bonne chose. Pour ma part, je suis en Angleterre depuis quelque temps en tant qu'étudiant.
Je me suis fait aider par un organisme pour trouver une business school.
Je ne pense pas qu'il soit facile de trouver un emploi à distance, surtout dans ce milieu. En passant par un organisme comme worldiploma en France, certaines écoles de langue aident à trouver des jobs sur place, cela peut-être une solution.
Je vous conseille bien évidement la ville de Londres, Brighton ou Cambridge, qui sont des villes que j'apprécie.
Connaissez-vous déjà un petit peu l'Angleterre ?
Pourquoi ne pas vous y rendre au préalable afin de voir si vous vous y sentez à l'aise !

En revanche concernant nos emplois nous avons un peu peur de partir à l'aventure car nos économies ne nous permettent pas encore de vivre quelque temps sans emploi.
Concernant la vie dans ces trois villes, pense tu que brighton et Cambridge sont aussi cher que Londres j'ai eu quelques retour sur Londres qui me disait que c'était très cher pour s'y expatrier.

Non Londres est bien sur la ville la plus chère d'Angleterre, notamment en ce qui concerne l'immobilier.
Brighton est une station balnéaire assez prisée des touristes l'été et donc plutôt vivante. Cambridge est une ville très étudiante.
Melanie, contrairement à ce que dit la personne ci-dessus, il n'est pas du tout facile de trouver un job en Angleterre actuellement. On trouve, bien sûr, mais il faut être prêt à travailler à des heures indues, pour des salaires assez faibles si l'on n'a pas de qualification en anglais, et surtout penser qu'il y a une concurrence féroce. Il est loin le temps (pré crise de 2008) où l'on trouvait facilement. Pour mettre toutes les chances de son côté, il faut avoir de quoi tenir 3 semaines financièrement, des CV prêts à imprimer dès que tu auras ton NIN, aller tout de suite au Job Centre pour avoir ledit NIN (sur RDV), avoir une petite expérience dans la restauration sur son CV, et distribuer des CV en personne tous les jours dans tous les bars/restos.
Si vous etes tous les deux dans l'hotellerie diplomes ou avec experience, toute les annonces ici passent par le http://www.caterer.com/ c'est le site choisis des restaurateurs et des hoteliers. Il y a de tout, des hotels un peu en dehors des villes proposant logement avec le travail ou en independant.
Seul truc si vous etes en france ils vous faudra ou venir pour une interview ou avoir des references en beton pour passer avec un interview au telephone.
Malgre ce qu est dit les emplois dans l'hotellerie sont transient, donc il y as toujours possibilitee si vous avez vos diplomes en poches ou une bonne experience.
Le porte a porte avec cv c'est plutot pour les etudiants sans experience aucune qui cherchent de petits boulots qui generalement ne paye pas suffisament pour couvrir loyer etc....
Janvier et fevrier en general sont des mois maigre en hotellerie et restauration dans toute l'europe.... entre saison de Noel et l'ete.

En effet notre départ s'approche. Je me doute bien que janvier n'est pas la période idéal mais ce départ correspond à une fin de CDD c'est pour cela. Actuellement nous n'avons rien trouvé à distance.
Nous avons édité nos CV pour le départ. Mais le problème c'est que nous ne savons pas du tout vers ou aller.
On regarde les distances à bateau ou ferry vu que l'on prend notre voiture. Et après à l'arrivée on ne sait pas si c'est bien de rester sur les côtes (portsmouth, brighton, Southampton) ou s'il est préférable de monter au Nord vers les grandes villes (cambridge, londres, oxford, birmimgham)
Si quelqu'un sait un peu ou c'est mieux de se poser en arrivant pour trouver un logement ou une auberge de jeunesse pour les premiers temps assez facilement le temps de trouver du travail ?
Le but étant qu'on arrive mais qu'on puisse trouver un endroit pour dormir et ensuite de trouver du travail dans les 15 jours suivants.
Nous avons tous deux une expérience significative dans l'hôtellerie nous ne faisons pas sa pour trouver un emploi c'est notre métier et nous avons travailler dans de grande maison, les agences de placements disent que l'ont a de bons CV mais n'ont rien à nous proposer. Je ne sais pas si c'est la distance de France ou la durée dans un mois.

N'allez pas à Londres avec votre voiture, cela vous coutera un bras (et pas celui de la Manche !) rien qu'en frais de parking, de taxe journalière pour circuler dans le centre, et ne comptez pas échapper aux traffic warden qui sont redoutables ni aux amendes qui sont très amères...
je veux préciser que par "grandes villes" j'entends Bristol, Bath, Brighton, Manchester, etc, et surtout pas la capitale ( non seulement Londres, mais carrément greater london) impossible de se loger et de circuler

En effet on a regarder et on pensait partir du Havre pour arriver a Portsmouth de la voir soit pour Brighton ou Southampton ou Bournemouth pour ne pas faire trop de route au début et peut être bouger dans d'autres villes quelques temps plus tard. On pensait pas à Londres car la vie doit etre à prix exhorbitant.
Pensez vous qu'on trouvera des auberges de jeunesse pour les premières nuit en arrivant dans ces villes ? je n'ai aucune idée de la taille de ces villes enfait

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
