Je ne marche pas très bien. Faut-il crapahuter sur des terrains difficiles et combien detemps ou est-ce qu'il s'agit que de marches à descendre et remonter ?
Est-ce difficile à trouver ? beaucoup de marche pour arriver aux cascades.

Pour les cascades, oui, on les trouve facilement...tu arrives par le haut en fait, il y a un grand parking et elles sont invisibles depuis le haut...L'accès se fait par un chemin sur la gauche, facile à trouver il suffit de suivre le cortège de boutique et des pénibles professionnels ne manqueront pas de te proposer la visite...Le chemin permet de descendre tout en bas...ça grimpe quand même pour le retour...
Sur la droite tu as un chemin qui passe devant un "riyad" qui te permet de voir les cascades depuis le haut, attention au bord, ça peut glisser, mais c'est assez spectaculaire.
Mieux vaut rouler moins vite et profiter du paysage sur le chemin...
Je ne sais pas ce que tu auras comme voiture ni à quelle époque de l'année sinon il y a aussi la route en passant par Rich, Imilchil qui restera un plus beau souvenir que direction Khénifra...Mais les 10 heures vont être encore plus juste😛

Sur google maps, je vois 8h42 de route - 619 km jusqu'à Marakech.
Nous n'avons pas beaucoup de choix car le lendemain, nous avons notre avion à Marrakech.
Nous pouvons nous lever tôt et partir tôt, déjeuner en route. De Middelt jusqu'à Ouzoud, je vois 247 km – environ 3 heures 35 min
Si tu sais où nous pouvons déjeuner sur la route, nous sommes preneurs d'informations, même de beaux points de vues...
Le but étant d'arriver à Ouzoud et y passer un peu de temps pour en profiter.
Combien de temps faut-il prévoir au minimum à Ouzoud sachant que je ne remonte pas très vite....
Nous parlons de 18h à Marrakech pour éviter de conduire quand il fait très nuit mais cela peut être 19h aussi.
J'espère que ce n'est pas trop présomptueux...

Fin mars, ce n'est pas évident de prévoir la météo, au Maroc aussi il n'y a plus de saison...et les grosses pluies qu'on doit se prendre en décembre arrive parfois en mars ou avril...
Normalement c'est bon, je n'ai jamais eu de souci sur cette route en mars mais j'ai toujours le temps et donc s'il la route est abîmée, j'ai la possibilité d'attendre ou de faire demi tour...Même s'il y a une faible chance, je te conseil de prévoir un plan de rechange au cas ou la météo aurait été mauvaise mais tu le sauras sur place le moment venu...traverser l'Atlas la veille de prendre un avion peut offrir une petite surprise, mieux vaut anticiper au cas ou...
Pour la beauté de la route...Oui, c'est une très belle route, tu ne le regretteras pas...Mais oublie les 8h42...Je n'ai même jamais fais cette route en une seule journée mais je suis toujours à prendre des photos pour un oui ou un non😛...
Oui, il vous faudra vraiment vous lever plus tôt et vous arriverez bien plus tard...
Mais je me répète, faire une halte aux cascades va prendre du temps...J'ai fouiné dans mes photos d'Ouzoud..bon plusieurs centaines de photos mais pas une seule sur le chemin qui y va...arf, j'y ai cru, dommage ça t'aurais donné une idée...Mais j'en joins une depuis le haut, je le redis, faut faire très gaffe au bord...ça glisse et l'erreur se paye cash...
Les 3h35, aussi tu peux oublier cette moyenne...en général, 60km/h est une moyenne censée au Maroc...je la mettrai même vers les 40-45 en passant par cette itinéraire...
bon ce ne sera pas possible mais tu passeras pas loin d'un endroit superbe...les greniers d'Aoujgal...un endroit de ouf lol...interdit si on a le vertige...
Pour Ouzoud ce sera difficile d'y rester moins de 2 heures si tu as des difficultés pour marcher...
il faudra impérativement le matin être sur la route dès le lever du soleil...et même avec ça, ça sera une grosse journée...
Pour les points de vue...lol...Cette route est pour moi un point de vue a elle toute seule...donc je sais pas, je dirais...tous les kilomètres?😉....On a envie de s'arrêter partout....
Gaffe aux gosses dans les petits villages...ils adorent courir après la voiture, le jeu consiste à s'accrocher derrière...

Mais sinon, si cela tombe le jour du souk à Imilchil...Un arrêt dans cette ville vaut largement une visite à Ouzoud...
si tu veux y faire une petite halte thé...quand tu arriveras de Rich, une fois dans le centre ville ( c'est tout petit)...tu verras sur ta droite une boutique rigolote, "la crèmerie des champs élysée"...juste sur la gauche de cette boutique, il y a un café...et une terrasse très bien pour y boire son petit thé tout en observant la vie d'en face...
C'est super sympa d'avoir pris du temps pour nous répondre avec tous les détails et surtout les magnifiques photos qui nous donnent déjà envie d'y être.

I’d like to do a route that’s a bit different from my first stay, which was more focused on cities and culture (Tunis, Sousse, Kairouan, El Jem).
I’ll be getting around by public transport.
I’d like to head south toward Tozeur, and I saw that you can take a *louage* from Monastir to Sbeitla (2h30). I imagine it’s not too complicated to get to Tozeur from there afterward? The issue is the return trip to Monastir and safety in Sbeitla.
If this route seems too complicated, I might opt for Djerba instead, which looks simpler.

Day 4-5-6: Chefchaouen and a day hike in the Rif Mountains
Day 6-7: Discover the city of Fes (I’ve heard so many great things!!)
Day 8: Stop in Meknes and possibly visit the historic site of Volubilis
Day 9-10: Rabat (I’ve heard mixed things... some good, some bad)
After that, I have the choice of heading back to Tangier for my return flight... or going down to Agadir (also a possible return flight) and extending my trip by 5 days :)
From what I can tell, everything is well connected by bus (CTM) or train (ONCF).
Another question: Is the vibe in Moroccan youth hostels for meeting people the same as what you’d find in Western Europe?

(though there are fraudulent sites out there). On the official site, they ask for legitimate info
(name, nationality, etc.). What made me go "hmm" was the request for both an email address

A lot of people find it important to stick to their budget when traveling—not to skimp, but to visit as many places as possible since traveling is their hobby.
In this post, I want to share some tips for those coming to Morocco who want their trip to be budget-friendly.
1. Prebook everything: hotels or riads, car rentals, or tours. If you book these in advance, it’ll make your life easier. You won’t have to deal with hagglers or people trying to overcharge you for services that are available online for free. Use platforms like Booking, Expedia, carsrental.ma, Airbnb, and other booking services to get this done properly.
2. Exchange your money to Moroccan dirhams as soon as you land. 1 € is always a little over 10 dirhams, but many people get charged as if it were exactly 10 dirhams per euro.
3. When visiting an old site or the old medina, avoid talking to vendors and shop owners—they’re really good at getting your attention and making you overpay for things.
4. Ask your tour guide to buy things for you. Yes, they do get a commission, but you’ll probably pay way more if you buy something yourself that they can get cheaply.
5. Walk everywhere. You don’t need a taxi for every little trip. Pick a good location and walk—most Moroccan cities are safe during normal hours.
6. Buy your food, drinks, etc., from supermarkets at normal prices. They can’t overcharge you since they scan every product.

I’m planning my next trip outside Europe for next year, but unfortunately, I don’t have a choice with the dates—it’s late June to early July. Last year, I went to Japan for three weeks, and it was constantly 36-37°C with over 90% humidity. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t impossible either.
For Egypt, I know it’s a period to avoid if possible, but I’m thinking that by the sea, it might be manageable. Otherwise, I’ll consider another destination.
