Je découvre un peu le forum... j'ai parcouru quelques posts intéressants et j'aimerai avoir un avis personnalisé par rapport à mon cas et les différentes questions que je me pose.
Je m'explique : j'ai 22 ans et je suis en 2e année de Master en droit (en Belgique). Et voila, le fait est que je voyage souvent en Floride car j'ai l une partie de ma famille qui vit là-bas, dans une petite ville résidentielle entre Daytona Beach et Jacksonville et je me vois bien y vivre sur le long terme (en Floride ou ailleurs aux USA). Ainsi, mon objectif depuis quelques années est de pouvoir aller etudier là-bas dans un premier temps, puis essayer d'y travailler afin de pouvoir y résider sur le long terme après (si je trouve un emploi fixe).
Maintenant, j'ai un peu parlé à ma famille américaine (hélas, pas un lien direct pour essayer d'avoir la nationalité) ... et je peux, à la fin de mon Master en Belgique, venir m'installer là-bas sans soucis pour 1/2/3 ans (le temp qu'il sera nécessaire à mon intégration).
Maintenant, le problème c'est qu'il faut un visa pour rester sur place. Je ne peux pas obtenir la Green Card via eux et j'ai testé la loterie de cette année mais bon c'est purement aléatoire, on verra les résultats plus tard.
Dés lors, j'ai pensé à d'autres alternatives:
1) Le visa étudiant :
Mon idée serait de faire un an dans un college ou une université mais uniquement pour 1 an de langue anglaise pour perfectionner mon anglais dans un premier temps. Mais de ce que j'ai pu trouvé sur le net, il y a qu'un établissement où je serai aller niveau proximité (30 min en voiture)... Mais je ne sais pas trop ce que ca vaut et si les prix ne sont pas trop exagérés : L'Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (http://www.erli.us/). Les autres institutions de langues sont trop éloignées car elles sont du coté de Miami essentiellement. Sinon, Daytona State college aurait été l'idéal, mais on ne propose pas de cours de langues apparemment, juste les programmes classiques de leur college.. (pas de droit)
Qu'en pensez vous ? Aussi... suite à cette année de langue, et le passage du TOEFL après cette année, j'aimerai ensuite tenter un LL.M (master complémentaire) dans une autre université aux US (je postulerai dans une quinzaine). Mais entre temps, puis je trouver un job sur place pour pas dilapider toutes mes économies et pas être aux frais de ma famille américaine?
2) Passer par le Canada :
J'ai aussi une partie de ma famille à Toronto qui voudrait bien m'accueillir. Après le Canada me tente moins que les USA, mais je me dis qu'un passage là bas ne pourrait pas faire de mal surtout si j'arrive par la suite à poursuivre aux US. Et apparemment c'est plus "simple" d'immigrer au Canada par rapport aux states...
3) Trouver un stage:
J'ai aussi pensé à trouver des stages en entreprise et autres; mais ca me parait trop compliqué dans le domaine du droit étant donné que le droit anglo-saxon diffère fort du notre et bien que j'ai eu des cours sur le droit US, ce n'est clairement pas suffisant ... Puis je n'ai aucun piston ou autre pour m'ouvrir une voie vers un bon internship là-bas.
Enfin voila, merci d'avance du temps que vous m'accorderez, j'ai été un peu long je sais.
Avec le visa étudiant, aux USA, vous n'avez pas le droit de travailler (sauf sur un campus un petit nombre maximum d'heures), rien qui vous permettrait de survivre en tout cas.
A votre place, je passerais par le Canada. C'est plus facile d'y immigrer car on peut se sponsoriser soi même. Par contre, je n'y connais rien.
Vous faites ce que vous avez prévu : cours de langues à Toronto. Et ensuite vous pouvez postuler pour un LLM. Toronto ou les USA. Cela dit, les études sont chères dans ces deux pays.
Tu ne serais pas sponsorisé pour la nationalité mais pour la carte verte. En attendant tu devras prouver que tu n'as aucune intention de t'installer aux US (rédhibitoire, refus de visa direct) si tu postules pour un visa temporaire.
Le droit existe exclusivement au niveau Master. Seules les facs de droit du top 14 (..20 maxi) valent l'investissement aux US. Il y a trop de diplômés et trop peu de postes. Ce n'est pas DU TOUT un métier porteur. En revanche, ta connaissance du droit de type civil serait un atout. Je pense que dans ton cas le programme de Sherbrooke, qui permet de travailler au Canada francophone et anglophone ainsi que dans l'Etat de NY, serait idéal. A Ottawa, si tu suis la moitié de tes cours en français tu reçois une bourse automatique de 50% des frais d'inscription.
tu peux aussi te réorienter en attendant d'être résident permanent sponsorisé, et suivre des cours "normaux" de type gen ed ou dans une filière porteuse. Tu pourras suivre qq cours d'anglais en même temps mais tu verras que tu apprendras très vite si tu suis plusieurs cours en anglais.
Embry Riddle est une école d'ingénieurs, certes côté pour l'aéronautique, mais rien à voir avec ce que tu veux.

Actuellement entrepreneur dans l'immobilier, transport, je cherche un(e) associé(e) / partenaires/ fondation pour un projet dans l'agriculture donc je suis propriétaire de 10 hectares de terrain.
Les hectares étant inexploités durant des années faute des moyens financiers car le projet nécessite un apport je dirait considérable , acteur principal que je suis je dispose d'un apport minimal.

3) Construire un service de santé
4) Construire une école maternelle et primaire
5) Construire des logements gratuits pour expatriés à la retraite en échange de leurs participations gratuite dans leurs domaines respectives.
Ceci étant un projet dont j'y crois , j'invite toutes personnes intéressées à apporter une touche personnelle, sous la forme d'un conseil, une orientation et enfin une implication.
NB: projet à l'échelle nationale et internationale au niveau de l'emplois.
