Alors je me lance
Je suis un jeune ch’ti ayant décidé de quitter Lille il y a 3ans pour venir m’installer à Nice en PACA.
Nice et sa région ont beaucoup de merveilles a nous apporter dans notre quotidien sur diverses facettes mais je souhaite quitter la région en novembre 2017.
Je vais donc prendre le mois d’aout pour aller me perdre et visiter quelques départements susceptibles de me plaire.
Je vous donne mes critères :
1-un département ou le climat reste plutôt bon (donc pas de grisaille et pluie en majorité) j’aime le chaud mais aussi ressentir les saisons.
2-un endroit ou je puisse aussi bien y trouver une ville qui bouge (20000habitants environ minimum, important pour mon métier car je suis profession libérale) tout comme le calme de la campagne et des merveilles de natures que cela amène.
3-j’aimerais y retrouver une mentalité assez ouverte ou je puisse m’y faire des amis. (J’aime discuter avec les gens et faire des rencontres et Nice a été très difficile pour moi : amis Niçois ne vous fâchez pas ! le petit ch’ti que je suis est honnête sur ce point, bien que la vie soit faite de contraste)
4-la mer a 2h max de voiture ou alors une région qui dévoile des rivières ou l’on peut se baigner.
Voila voila !
Je sais qu’il faut savoir être heureux quelque soit l’endroit où nous sommes mais donnez-moi votre avis ou des idées sur ce point
A ce jour j’ai déjà fait pas mal de recherche sur le net et j’en ressort quelques secteurs :
Quelques petites observations :
- l'été n'est certainement pas la meilleure saison pour découvrir une région où l'on souhaite vivre à l'année ;
- qu'appelez-vous une "ville qui bouge" ? il existe des villes qui ne bougent pas beaucoup au sens "loisirs", mais qui peuvent être de bons créneaux professionnels (selon votre profession, bien sûr) ;
- le contact avec les locaux peut être très ouvert mais superficiel et éphémère ; ou difficile au prime abord, puis bon, sincère et durable. Le contact dépend aussi de l'attitude générale de la personne qui arrive ;
- vous n'évoquez pas la question des loyers ; peut-être n'est-ce pas un critère de choix pour vous ?
je n'aborde pas les loyers meme si cela reste important a mes yeux! j'habite Nice et les loyers sont dément! j'ai envie de passer ma vie dans une maison avec un terrain et non pas dans un deux pieces .
je suis osteopathe de profession
une ville qui bouge a mon sens propre est une ville ou je peux trouver quelques etablissement nocturnes , bar , guingette etc... qui me permettraient de pouvoir rencontre du monde :) en toute simplicité! je suis un ch'ti et adore rencontrer de nouvelles personnes :)
quand a la mentalité des gens je n'ai pas poussé la reflexion aussi loin que vous mais je veux juste un secteur ou les gens sont plus ouvert que sur la cote d'azur...a savoir plus de sincerité !
un premier abord froid ne me derange pas tant que l'authenticité y est.
Alors je pense que la Bretagne vous conviendrait ! (c'est une Bretonne qui parle).
Des villes bretonnes festives, il y en a ! Rennes, Brest, Vannes, Lorient...
A Nantes aussi, il y a de quoi s'amuser.
Côté loyers, Brest est une des villes les moins chères de France (ok : contrairement à son taux d'humidité qui est l'un des plus élevés...).
Et moi je vous indique Lyon!
Avantages:
- À 3h de la Méditerranée en voiture, mais pas en train! À moins de deux heures une multitude de lacs plus ou moins grands, tant du côté du Massif central que de l'Isère. Aix-les-Bains et Annecy tout près! Et les fabuleuses gorges de l'Ardèche, et la Drôme provençale et ses nombreuses rivières sauvages.
- À moins de deux heures du pied des Alpes, avec un accès ultra facile pour les sports d'hiver ou la randonnée en été, tant par voiture que par train ou bus.
- À une heure de route le Massif central, Clermont-Ferrand et Le Puy (le Roi de l'oiseau!) guère plus, pour des week-ends superbes à la campagne.
- À une heure au nord, les débuts du Beaujolais, avec des paysages magnifiques, à la découverte de Solutré et de vignobles bien meilleurs que les ramassis de cochonneries qu'on nous fait boire une fois par an.
- Lyon, première ville de France pour la gastronomie, je ne m'étends pas!
- Deuxième ou troisième ville de France selon les critères que l'on retient, culturelle, aménagée, ses traboules, ses théâtres romains, sa biennale de la danse, ses nombreux musées, sa vie nocturne, ses festivals (les Lumières du 8 décembre!).
- Des environs splendides, en suivant le Rhône au nord qui devient plus sauvage, ou la Saône qui coule calmement, ou au sud en passant par Vienne, qui vaut largement le coup d'œil.
- Ville desservie, avec un aéroport qui va partout en Europe et dans le monde, des gares qui vous assurent Paris ou Marseille en 2h, Strasbourg en 3h. La Suisse et Genève à proximité, Grenoble aussi.
- Des printemps fleuris et doux sur les quais réaménagés, des étés chauds sur une terrasse de République, des automnes ensoleillés au Parc de la Tête d'or, des hivers froids à boire un vin chaud dans le Vieux Lyon.
Désavantages:
Il n'y a pas les magnifiques falaises de Bretagne ni les menhirs de Carnac, j'en conviens.
Voici mon avi sur les différentes villes mentionnées dans cette conversation.
Vannes est une belle ville, cependant, pour y avoir vécu 4 ans en tant qu'étudiant, je trouve que c'est une ville avec une population assez "vieilles". J'y étais étudiant donc ça allait mais j'y suis resté un été et je ne m'y suis pas éclaté des masses.
Nantes est une ville jeune (pas spécialement des étudiants mais beaucoup de jeune travailleur). Je pense que c'est une ville qui pourrait beaucoup te plaire et elle répondrait à tous tes critères. Sinon, il y a bordeaux qui est dans le même style de ville mais avec quelques degrés de plus.
Pour ce qui est de Montpellier, je ne te le conseil pas personnellement. Je suis breton et comme toi j'ai décidé de bouger. J'ai vécu à Vannes, Nantes, Bordeaux et Montpellier et Montpellier est la seule ville où j'ai eu du mal à m'intégrer (probablement comme toi à Nice)
Je ne connais pas toulouse mais cela semble etre une ville qui bouge. Les toulousains ont la réputation d'avoir une bonne mentalité. Le climat est sûrement très agréable et la mer est proche. Sinon moi aussi j'adore Lyon où j'ai vécu 7 ans. Le climat est ok avec des saisons marquées (ce qui ne sera pas le cas de Nantes), les gens sont sympas (facile de se faire des amis). Il y a tjs plein de choses à faire et tu peux trouver effectivement des lieux de baignade sympas tout autour (Ain, isere, Savoie). En parlant d'Isère, je terminerai par Grenoble, ville où j'apprécierais de vivre de nouveau mais où on s' eloigne de la mer au profit des montagnes ... ce post est intéressant car je ne pensais pas qu'il pouvait etre difficile de s'intégrer à Montpellier. ... j"avais pensé y bouger ....
Je parle que de mon expérience pour Montpellier. Après, j'y ai vécu un peu plus de 6 mois d'octobre à avril qui n'est pas la meilleur période non plus 😉
Ah oui 6 mois c'est très court.
Montpellier est une ville très agréable entre mer et montagne.
C'est aussi une ville cosmopolite et étudiante.
Mais bon après tout est question de perception :)
Oui, 6 mois c'est court mais j'ai vécu 6 mois à Bordeaux et 1 an à Nantes et pour ces villes je n'ai eu aucun mal à m'intégrer.
Par contre, j'ai bien aimé la ville. Comme tu le dis, elle est bien placé car juste à coté de la mer et les montagnes ne sont pas loin non plus. Pour être honnête, c'est plus avec les gens que j'ai eu plus de mal. Je les ai trouvé assez froid et assez distant. Une amie qui y a passé 1 an a eu le même ressenti. Après c'est peut-être qu'il y a trop d'écart par rapport à la mentalité bretonne, je ne sais pas. Mais vu que j'ai l'impression qu'il a déjà ressenti ça à Nice, je préfère préciser que j'ai ressenti la même chose à Montpellier 😉
J'ai visité la commune de Vaison-la-Romaine et j'ai aimé. Elle se trouve dans le département de Vaucluse et les villes les plus proches sont Avignon et Orange.

Moi Bretonne, je vis et travaille depuis 25 ans à Grasse (06) et je n'ai quasiment pas d'amis !!! (alors que je suis très ouverte), alors je comprends ce que tu dis sur Nice, trop compliqué les relations ici !
Je rêve d'aller habiter à Arcachon (ou La Teste, Gujan Mestras), les gens y sont super sympas, le coin trop bien, la mer, la forêt et Bordeaux à 40 mn, météo agréable. Va y faire un tour mais pas en Août, il y a trop de monde !
Sinon, tu as La Rochelle qui est super agréable aussi.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
