Salamalekoum ! 🙂 Je suis moi même une grande passionnée d'Afrique ! Je suis partie au sénégal il y a 3 ans à Miname (petit village à 40 kms au Sud de Dakar en bord de mer). Sur place, j'ai sympathisé avec beaucoup de jeunes sénégalais, avec qui j'ai toujours gardé contact. A l'époque, j'étais partie via une association qui s'est aujourd'hui délocalisée dans un village près du Lac Rose. Avec les amis sénégalais, nous sommes en train de créer notre propre association. Notre principal objectif est de développer le tourisme solidaire ; c'est à dire que des personnes souhaitant s'investir le temps de leurs vacances dans un projet humanitaire peuvent nous rejoindre. Différentes "missions" sont proposées : apport de soins de base auprès de la population, visite d'écoles et distribution de fournitures scolaires, etc ... Toutes les idées sont les bienvenues pour améliorer le quotidien des minamois !

Bienvenue en pays diola, ethnie majoritaire de basse Casamance où nos activités associativies nous ont basés depuis 1992.
Nous avons l'habitude d'y accueillir stagiaires, bénévoles et voyageurs/vacances, toujours en immersion avec les populations rurales que nous accompagnons, dans la mise en place et la pérennisation de projets de mieux-vivre local, durable.
Nous assurons aussi la promotion des campements ruraux, structures d'accueil au sein des villages permettant la participation aux travaux quotidiens (travaux des champs, élevage, maraîchage, pêche, construction, santé, école...). Il s'agit bien là de voyage solidaire puisque les pensions payées aux gérants n'ont pas d'intermédiaires, type TO. Créant aussi de la sédentarisation par le biais des activités qui y sont liées (artisanat notamment -menuiserie, ferronnerie...)
Nous travaillons aussi en santé (hygiène, prévention, nutrition) avec une association locale et en formation professionnelle (français, culture générale, ressources humaines) avec un CFP local.

Dans la lesure dans les pays comme le Sénégal il existe un grand écart pour ne pas direune coupure entre la banlieues et la capital dakar et les quartiers bourgeoise et c'est ces quartiers qui sont considéres commebanlieus par les associations ONG, ou missions humanitaires au détriment des vraies BANLIEUS je veux citer Yeumbeul nord, Malika, Thiaroye, ker Massar...
ainsi mon objectif c'est de créer une association qui par le biais de ces membres vont essayer de trouver : vétements, médicaments, lits de dispensaire, matériels scolaires... pur les enfants de la rue, dispensaires écoles, quartiers innondées ... des VRAIES BANLIEUES
Pour ne pas ainsi ocuper le temps des differents memebres de l'Assciation l'association agira surtou les périodes de vacances, congés de ces différents memebre

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
