Passionnée de voyage, de rencontres, "d'ailleurs", je souhaite partir en 2019 en asie du sud est. Je n'ai pas arrêtée la destination car c'et plutôt à travers du bénévolat que j'aimerai "redécouvrir" un pays.
La plupart des sites s'adresse à de jeunes personnes, or j'ai bientôt 60 ans...Je peux aire du jardinage, m'occuper d'enfants, aider les femmes, etc...
Qu'en pensez vous ? Connaissez vous des assos, ong, où les bénévoles sont de tout age ?

Les ONG recherchent essentiellement des professionnels (salariés et bénévoles), avec des compétences particulières n'existant pas sur place, dans des lieux où il y a besoin d'aide technique (que ce soit dans le domaine médical, éducatif, environnemental, hydraulique...).
Si vous souhaitez donner simplement un coup de main, sur la durée d'un séjour touristique (donc courte durée), vous pouvez jauger sur place les assos locales qui n'ont pas pignon sur rue (et encore moins sur le net). Avec du bon sens, et un peu de temps pour glaner quelques infos sur l'asso repérée, vous rendrez sans doute service.
Sinon, méfiez-vous des assos internationales qui envoient des bénévoles à l'étranger, en exigeant des participations financières exorbitantes.

Sinon plus simplement, il y a les missionnaires de la charité de Mère Teresa, qui acceptent toutes les bonnes volontés, sans critères, et qui sont dans la plupart des pays.
Je suis déjà allé travailler avec elles à Haïti, c'était vraiment très fort.
J'aimerais repartir cette année aussi, j'hésite encore où et comment, avec qui, car il y a sûrement aussi des petites asso prêtes à recevoir des bénévoles, mais je n'ai pas encore creusé...si tu as des pistes, ça m'intéresse !

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
