Okay Thanks for your feedback

Personally, I feel the need to honor them through their image...

To each their own... Fair enough

Best regards

Hi Alain,

Remarkable travel journal from this SAFARI with MPS—we know them well after traveling with them three times (2020, 2023, and April–May 2025). Your stunning photographs, paired with such delicately descriptive prose... BRAVO...

Just one note: you mention guides Simon, Tony, and Titus, yet there’s NOT A SINGLE PHOTO of them...

Maybe you could add their portraits to your summary?

Attached are photos of RUTO, EDWARD, BENJAMIN, WILSON, the BARINGO manager, and ALBERT.

Best, Bernard
Masai Mara and Melting Pot Safari... So Disappointed!

Hi, We recently went on our third SAFARI with MELTINGPOT. We visited three sites: TSAVO WEST, AMBOSELI, and MASAI MARA. We only have one comment that Tony CROCETTA should take into account: the food and its portions at the canvas camp by the MARA. As for the dishes, the quality is excellent, but the portions are really small. The lack is even more noticeable with desserts. For example: just one small slice of pineapple, one small slice of papaya, etc. It’s really too cheap...

Otherwise, everything else is great, and we never went off-road in the reserves. The only place we did was outside the AMBOSELI reserve to see CRAIG... The staff is amazing—super kind and attentive. Just saying...

Replying to my point with "that's not what this discussion is about..." just shows you really didn’t understand anything. I SAID EVERYTHING HAS BEEN SAID... Reply again? Good luck with all your future trips... Warm thoughts to all those working in the Masai Mara.

I think now that everything has been said, it would be much more positive to reflect on the future of the Camp while COVID-19 is wreaking havoc in KENYA and all employees are unemployed. Four photos in memory and gratitude to three driver-guides, Edward, David, and Ruto (the first guide to have worked with Tony...) and to the chef who treated us to amazing meals throughout our safaris... Food for thought.

Excellent follow-up response to everything we’ve mentioned about Tony CROCETTA’s setup, the quality of the services, and the appeal of the safaris offered. For those who don’t want to run into any photographers or other visitors in the parks, you can also check out the amazing shows on TV!

I didn’t believe this cat at all (I thought it was a "stray domestic" one...), so I put my camera down too soon because I could’ve gotten much better shots!

I have a very slow internet connection, so I won’t be posting any photos. Especially since I consider myself a "newbie" when it comes to DSLR cameras. However, you can download a summary of our journey (people, landscapes, animals, birds) here: Download the files: www.grosfichiers.com/X79GxqkJYmb

Sorry you were disappointed, but we just returned from a 10-day safari in the Masai Mara with MELTINGPOT SAFARIS and we were absolutely thrilled. The welcome, organization, meals, and quality of the guide-drivers were all fantastic. When you do this kind of trip, you have to be very open-minded and tolerate a few minor inconveniences or imperfections... Tony CROCETTA wasn’t on-site, but he still called us twice before departure and a third time recently after our return. And we were truly amazed by the wildlife and birdlife we encountered, thanks to the eagle eyes of Edward, our guide-driver! For the record, we travel regularly around the world. This message doesn’t require a specific response; I just wanted to share our positive experience with MELTINGPOT...

Obtention et coût du visa Madagascar
by Spiderweb · 2019-12-02 · 0 replies

Merci

Okay But I still don’t quite understand "chiarafont"’s comments about the difficulties of photographing from the vehicles! ("I found it a shame that Melting Pot Safari/Tony Crocetta uses closed vehicles, as it limits photographers who end up on the 'wrong' side of a scene—they have little (or no) lateral movement, or have to shoot from above with a bad angle. Such a shame for a photo safari that claims to be a specialist. A fully open 4x4 offers so many more possibilities.")

Thanks. A photo of Tanzanian cranes....
