Je demeure en banlieu de Montréal et j'aimerais échanger avec des gens qui font du camping au Québec car c'est ma 2e été à faire du camping...j'ai découvert des coins extraordinaires et d'autres un peu moins.

En plus si vous voulez des informations sur le nouveau-Brunswick j'y suis allée visiter ce beau coin de pays alors je pourrais vous aider à trouver des beaux endroits et des choses à visiter...

j'ai fais une demande d'admission dans une université française pour l'automne 2003. J'aimerais avoir des informations sur les bourses que je pourrais obtenir. Je sais déjà que je ne suis pas admissible aux bourses du gouvernement français puisque l'ambassade me l'a dit. Pour ce qui est de ceux du Québec, je ne suis qu'admissble au prêt et non à la bourse.

Hello, We’re a group of four active seniors (still in great shape!) and we’re planning to visit this part of Canada for the first time. We usually travel with a self-drive tour package that includes accommodations and site visits. Our trip is scheduled for June 2027, and we’d love some advice from the community on how many days we’ll need for this first visit, given the distances involved. We’d also appreciate any tips on our route, as we want to see the main highlights: Niagara Falls, Quebec City, Montreal, Charlevoix, whale watching, and more... We’ll be arriving either from Toronto and returning via Montreal, or the other way around—still deciding. Thanks in advance for your suggestions—they’ll be much appreciated!

Si vous connaissez des marinas en chemin, des motels peut etre car on a un petit bateau pas de cabine, mais nous pouvons quand meme se debrouillez pour dormir dans le bateau.

Bonjour, Nous partons à Riviera Maya pour notre 2e voyage. Mon chum aimerait savoir s'il a un endroit ou on peut faire une excursion de see doo ou un endroit ou l'on peut en louer et en faire sécuritairement !

Il a t'il une plage cool, à playa del carmen pour passer une journée, resto boutique et tout !!! Merci à vous !

Y a t il transports organisé entre l'aéroport de Surathani et le ferry de Kho Samui style shuffle bus ou autre , nous serons a Surathani vers 15.30 alors aurons nous assez de temps pour le dernier depart du Ferry, merci

je suis au quebec a trois rivieres jusqu au 10 juillet a patir de la jai jusqu au 10 aout por faire ce que je veut en terme de voyage quebecois cous me conseiller daller ou ? de faire quoi? je ne connais pas le quebec je viens juste darriver merci pour vos bon conseils, logement, transport, ville....

Donc si vs avez de bons Bed abd breakfast a me conseigner ou autre petit hotel pas cher, auberge de jeunesse....?

Pour ceux et celles qui ont voyagé en France, quelle est la meilleure façon de fonctionner pour l'argent. Avoir de l'argent en espèce uniquement, ou avoir des chèques de voyage. Est-ce que les carte de guichet automatique (Desjardins et autres) fonctionnent là-bas, y-a t-il des frais de service, sinon la solution est-elle la carte de crédit???

Hi there, I’m planning a road trip to Quebec in late September/early October. Since I’m over 75, it’s impossible to rent a camper van. So, the option left is a car plus hotels. I’m used to traveling freely—I sketch out a rough route and stop wherever and whenever I feel like it. Is it possible during this period to travel without booking hotels/motels or B&Bs in advance, knowing I’ll only need a double room? Thanks for your replies.

Hello everyone. We’ve already traveled to Canada in 2018. This time, we’re prioritizing heading to Quebec City right after arriving in Montreal to stay for 3 days, then moving on to Rivière-du-Loup for 2 to 3 days before heading toward New Brunswick. We want to see Acadia, Prince Edward Island, the Bay of Fundy, etc., before returning to Quebec City to drop off the rental car. We were thinking of taking the bus from Montreal Airport to Quebec City and only renting the car 3 days later. Same route on the way back, with one night in Quebec City. We arrive in Montreal around June 25 (11 AM) and return on July 26 (6 PM). Could you give us some advice? Routes, sights, accommodations, and chalet rentals. Hi there!! We all know there are mosquitoes in Quebec… but is it bearable? Are the cities affected too? Like Montreal and Quebec City? I can imagine it’s bad in the parks… The road trip would be from July 5th to the 21st, right in the middle of bug season!! Best, Christophe

On a flight from Paris to Montreal, since the aircraft trajectories pass quite a bit to the north (maybe even too much...), is there any chance of spotting this very special phenomenon from your seat on the plane? That is, the combined result of a meteorite impact dating back about 214 million years and Hydro-Québec’s major works in the 1960s and beyond on the Manicouagan for massive electricity production, which flooded and highlighted the valleys and topographic trenches? A few years ago, I somewhat naively asked "Totem Aviation," based near Les Escoumins and offering light aircraft flyovers above the Manic-5 dam. They told me the altitude needed to observe the entire phenomenon was way too high for them... 🤪 On geographical maps, it’s absolutely spectacular! 😮

Hello everyone, We’ve decided to head to Quebec next year—it’s been a dream for the whole family (after watching so many travel shows and the like...). There’ll be five of us: 2 adults, 2 teens (16 and 13), and a child (8 years old). We’re all pretty good walkers, though maybe the teens a little less so—it’s just that age, you know? 😊 That said, they’ve got no problem doing 15 km hikes, just not every single day.

We’re planning to go from July 23 to August 14, arriving and departing from Montreal, so almost 3 weeks. I’ve started looking into logistics and accommodation prices, but before I dive into bookings, I’d love some advice on the itinerary. I’ve read a few threads here and there. Our idea is to visit between 3 and 5 different places over the 3 weeks, so that means the same number of accommodations. The goal is to optimize travel as much as possible—I’ve realized that getting around can take a long time. I think the first two days will be in Montreal to adjust to the time difference, and the last two in Quebec City, though that’s not set in stone.

Anyway, I’m not really sure about the route. I’ve got time to plan everything, but I know the longer we wait, the more expensive and scarce accommodations will get. Same goes for budget—we’ve set aside a mid-range budget, flights included: 3k per person (1k for the flight). So if you’ve got any great tips or advice, we’re all ears!

I was thinking of going up the St. Lawrence River, but I’m not sure how long that takes or where to stop. Maybe there are other places worth visiting farther away...

Hi, Part of the family is Canadian, and we usually go there every two years. We’ve already visited quite a bit, but since the family is in New Brunswick, we’ve never really explored Quebec (aside from the two main cities). I’m starting to plan a new little loop for late July 2026 to finally enjoy Quebec a bit more. We’re aiming for about ten days before heading to NB.

Here’s a first draft: Montreal (1 night) Mauricie National Park (1 night) Lac Saint-Jean via Route 155 (2 nights for the zoo and the historic village) Saguenay Fjord National Park (1 night) Then two options to get down to Quebec City: A- Jacques-Cartier National Park via Route 175 B- Tadoussac, then down the St. Lawrence River

We have an 11-year-old and plan to do some hikes. Driving doesn’t bother us, but we also want to take the time to explore. The traditional whale-watching cruise in Tadoussac isn’t planned this time since we’ve already seen whales in Saint Andrews, NB, during our last trip.

Does the itinerary seem reasonable? Which option is nicer for getting down to Quebec City? Is there anything we shouldn’t miss on this loop?
