Tout d'abord je voudrais féliciter air france pour ses nouvelles classes de voyage introduites depuis environ 3 mois.Chaque classe possede un ecran video individuel, des reposes pieds meme en classe eco....Il y a 1 mois j'ai effectue un vol paris/tokyo/paris en l'espace première et quellle ne fut ma surprise face a ce changement radical(on y retrouve cette ambiance concorde) notamment par rapport a l'ancienne first qui d'annee en annee semblait de plus en plus désuet!!Je respecte complètement les avis favorables des internautes concernant la singapore airlines puisqu'il m'arrive encore de l'utiliser cependant j'ai l'intention d'utiliser dans le futur la compagnie AF pour mes deplacements privés et professionels.

Je suis nouveau membre sur ce forum, je dois partir (pour mon travail) en Chine. Je suis allé il y a un an à HongKong, Shanghai Canton et Shenzen.

J'y retourne dans un mois ! Et cette fois-ci j'aurai un peu de temps libre, j'arrive là bas le 10/09 et j'aurai tout le week-end pour me balader à hong-kong / kowloon.

C'est seulement la deuxième fois que j'y vais alors je ne connais pas très bien, surtout que la dernière fois j'avais eu seulement un dimanche pour me balader (sans aucun guide)

Connaissez-vous un bon guide touristique ou un bon site internet pour mieux connaître HK ?

L'année prochaine, nous avons décidé de faire la tournée des parcs nationaux de l'ouest americain.

Voici ce que nous contions faire :

partir plutôt en camping une vingtaine de jours en restant plusieurs jours sur certains sites.

Notre seul impératif (émotionnel) est de rester plusieurs jours à Yellowstone.

Est ce que quelqu'un pourrait me conseiller sur les points suivants : Quelle ville choisir pour l'arrivée par avion Quel circuit conseillerez vous (quels parcs à ne pas manquer, lesquels à éviter) Camping: faut-il réserver, acheter sur place le matériel ? Facilité d'accès ? Sinon, est ce qu'il faut mieux se tourner vers les motels ?

Bonjour, à toutes et tous J'ai le souhait depuis plusieurs années de m'évader à Montreal, je me suis un peu renseigné sur les modalité de visa, mais c'est un peu un cercle vicieux, puisque en fait, il faut absolument trouver un boulot pour obtenir un visa et pour avoir un boulot en général on demande un visa. Je suis pret à tenter une expèrience étudiante que ce soit à Mc GILL ou à l'université de Montreal mais il faut un diplôme d'anglais d'accés à l'université du type Toefle ou First mais à vrai dire je suis assez nul en anglais. D'ailleurs celà représente une des raisons pour lesquelles je veux m'essayer à la vie Montrealaise. Cette ville me parait une bonne alternative pour apprendre l'anglais en douceur. Au fait, j'aurais bien voulu savoir si il est possible de travailler dans le millieu de la communication Québècquoise pour un petit français comme moi qui n'a pas un niveau top en anglais mais qu'en je dis pas top c'est pas top du tout... Enfin j'aurais voulu savoir simplement, si il existe des écoles véritablement enrichissantes dans le secteur de la publicité ou encore du travail. Sinon j'aurais bien voulu connaître votre avis, vos suggestions ou encore mieux vos solutions. Merci d'avance à tous.

Quand Flash Airlines se ramasse en Egypte c'est la psychose vis a vis des charters sur lesquels jusqu'a present personne ou presque n'avait a redire. Pauvre Air Comet dont 99% des gens n'avaient jamais entendu parler et qui maintenant, c'est sur, sera la prochaine compagnie a se scratcher !

Par contre quand le Concorde d'Air France loupe son decollage en 2000, que 3 avions Swissair/Crossair ou 2 de la Thai s'ecrasent entre 98 et 01, qu'un Singapore fait de meme en 2000, sans parler des compagnies US, alors la tout va bien. Mais c'est vrai que c'est de la marque tout ca...

Faudrait peut-etre arreter la parano et la surrenchere... ou alors rester chez soi (mais attention aussi a ne pas glisser dans l'escalier).

Je suis à la recherche de qques précisiosn sur les conditions de voyage en train en Inde du Sud. J'ai vu qu'il existe des compartiments privés pour les couchettes. On va voyager avec notre fils de 3 ans et on souhaite donc un peu de confort pour que ce ne soit pas trop galère pour lui. Quelqu'un a-t-il déjà voyagé dans ces compartiements, est-ce que ça permet de passer une nuit correct? Faut-il s'y prendre en avance pour les réservations (on voyagera sur janvier/février)? avez-vous une estimation des prix; je n'arrive pas à me connecter sur le site d'Indianrail, je pense que j'ai un problème de navigateur.

India inaugurates the new Navi Mumbai International Airport and the final phase of Mumbai’s Metro Line 3—a major turning point for the country’s infrastructure. Mumbai, India’s economic capital, is entering a new era of modernization. The Indian government has officially inaugurated the Navi Mumbai International Airport, one of the country’s most ambitious infrastructure projects, along with the final phase of Metro Line 3, a key axis to ease congestion in the megacity. The Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), located about 35 km from the city center, aims to eventually handle up to 60 million passengers per year. Built to reduce pressure on the already saturated Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport, it features ultra-modern facilities, sustainable design, and cutting-edge technologies for air traffic management and energy efficiency. At the same time, the completion of Mumbai’s Metro Line 3, connecting Colaba to Bandra-SEEPZ, marks a major advancement in urban mobility. This 33.5 km underground section will significantly reduce travel time and congestion in a city known for its chronic traffic jams. These two projects reflect the Indian government’s commitment to transforming Mumbai into a global hub, combining connectivity, sustainability, and economic development.

The Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), a project two decades in the making, has finally come to fruition. Phase one of the airport was inaugurated Wednesday by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar. Although the first phase, which includes Terminal 1 and Runway 1 with 10 bus gates and 29 aero bridges, has been inaugurated, flight operations will not begin immediately.

"Post-inauguration, the airport will be handed over to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for a security sweep, which could take 30 to 45 days. We also need to mobilize customs and immigration teams and complete end-to-end testing, which is a 45-60-day process," said Arun Bansal, CEO of Adani Airports Holdings Ltd, developer and operator of the NMIA, during a press briefing at the NMIA premises Monday. Even though an exact date hasn’t been announced, NMIA CEO Captain B V J K Sharma and Bansal said commercial flights are expected to begin in December 2025. Plans of major carriers Three major airlines—Air India, Akasa Air, and IndiGo—have already signed on to shift part of their operations to NMIA. Last month, Air India announced plans to start with 20 daily departures (40 air traffic movements) through Air India Express, connecting 15 Indian cities in the first phase. By mid-2026, it aims to scale up to 55 daily departures, including up to five international flights. IndiGo, which made its announcement in May, plans to operate 18 daily flights to more than 15 cities from the first day of commercial operations and intends to expand to 140 daily flights—30 of which will be international—within 18 months. In June, Akasa Air said it will start with 15 daily domestic flights, scaling up to over 300 domestic and 50 international flights a week within a few months. When asked which airline will operate the first flight, Bansal said, "We want all three airlines to be there on Day 1. It depends on who has the earliest slot that day, and the destination choice lies entirely with the airlines." Operations to begin with 12-hour window In the first month, flights will operate between 8 am and 8 pm, with the 12-hour window likely to be extended as operations stabilize. Although NMIA’s full capacity is 40 air traffic movements (ATMs) per hour, the initial phase will handle 10 ATMs—allowing 10 aircraft to land or take off every hour. Airlines are expected to announce routes and ticket sales soon. Touted as an international aviation hub, NMIA positions Mumbai alongside global twin-airport cities such as London, Dubai, and New York, and plans to launch both domestic and international operations from Day 1. Concession for international carriers When asked if international carriers will be given any concessions, Bansal said, "For international airlines, we will not charge them parking fees for the first year." The duo added that NMIA aims to reclaim Mumbai’s rightful place on the global aviation map. "For a decade… travelers didn’t have a choice—airlines couldn’t get additional slots (at the Mumbai airport), so traffic shifted to Delhi. We are course-correcting that with NMIA. It won’t happen overnight, but over the next five–seven years, you’ll see the change," said Bansal. He noted that Mumbai currently lacks direct flights to major destinations in Europe and the U.S., something NMIA hopes to change. "If you see east-to-west flights, Mumbai is a natural stop," added Sharma. As reported earlier, NMIA will eventually feature four terminals and two parallel runways, with a total capacity to handle up to 90 million passengers per annum (MPPA), compared to 20 MPPA in the first phase. In the long term, the airport aims to serve as a key transfer hub between the East and the West, enabling passengers from Southeast Asia to connect seamlessly to Europe and North America.

Hi there, It’s not always easy to pick where to stay in national parks... like Kruger, for example. Below is an attempt to decode the different types and options... Remember, to book in a national park, you do it through the Sanparks website, except in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN Wildlife).

Choosing the type of camp that suits you: · Main Rest Camps, Satellite Camps, Bushveld Camps, Overnight Hides, Bush Lodges, Camp Site, Luxury Lodges Main Rest Camps These camps are usually quite large, even very large, like Skukuza. They have a fence! You can move around freely inside these camps at night with a torch. Staff are available, and there are security guards. Shops are more or less well-stocked but have the basics. You’ll find souvenir shops, restaurants, bars, and most often a pool. Depending on your choice, there are camping spots, chalets, huts, etc., with varying levels of comfort. Shared kitchens, shared bathrooms, or private facilities in each accommodation (see below). This isn’t the "wild" version but rather the more luxurious and secure option. Bushveld Camps Smaller and more intimate, with some amenities, but no restaurants or shops. Check if there’s a fence. Satellite Camps Always close to the main camps (more or less). As a rule, you check in at the main camp. Comfort level is lower than the options above. Check if there’s a fence. Camp Site + Overnight Hide The wildest level. That says it all. Bush Lodges + Luxury Lodges Bush lodges: exclusive environment. Since I haven’t tried them, I can’t give any tips. Luxury lodges: well, the name says it all. This is Kruger’s version of a private game reserve lodge. Game drives with a ranger in an open vehicle. Accommodation ranges from luxurious to very luxurious. Meals and lodging are of the same standard. But even so, the game drive rules are the same. Sure, you get exclusive access to a small area, but you can’t leave the marked trails, and normally, the return time to camp is exactly the same. The rule actually says that exceptionally, if there’s a great opportunity within x meters, they *might* go off-trail. First case in the far south: a very flexible ranger and an amazing game drive. Second case: a mediocre ranger and a boring game drive. Note that some may only offer lodging. Personally, I think the added value can be excessively expensive. Choosing your accommodation within a camp. This depends on the camp. Below is an attempt to decode. Camp site: just a spot, that’s it. Access to facilities like toilets, shared kitchen, etc. Huts: basic amenities, usually just a fan. Safari tent: the name says it all. It’s already set up. Bungalow: well, it’s a bungalow, and a guest house is a bungalow for a group. Decoding: AC = air conditioning. Fan = fan. Private or shared toilets. Private or shared bathroom. Equipped kitchen or shared. Terrace. Perimeter or not. View or not. First 2–5 letters — the type of accommodation.

Hi, I’m really interested in the "SUPREME bus" and especially the "Wiang Ping Super VIP Class Bus" with Sombat Tour for traveling from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. But you can only book through their website, and it’s entirely in Thai. No agency allows booking for these buses from this company either. I haven’t found any way to make a reservation for either of these two buses... Has anyone traveled from Bangkok to Chiang Mai on one of these buses? Thanks so much

Bonjour, je suis heureux de vous accueillir à bord de ce nouveau carnet de voyage. 2020 est décidément une année bien compliquée et ce voyage est à 1000 lieux de ce qui était prévu à la base pour cette année.



A la base, un voyage était prévu début septembre, dans le Wyoming. Il a été reporté à 2021. Un voyage qui avait été annulé en mai en Slovénie a donc été placé à ces dates. Hélas, une semaine avant le départ, la Slovénie a imposé une quarantaine aux français et un test covid à réaliser dans les 36 avant le départ, donc : report à mai 2021.



Je cherchais donc une nouvelle destination… Danemark, Pologne, Suisse ? Ces 3 pays ont restreint également la venue des français. Il me restait donc la Suède, pays qui a eu une ligne et une stratégie stable face à la crise du covid.



J’ai donc acheté 3 billets flexibles sur Air France 3 jours avant le départ en cas de report de dernière minute. Seule la 1ere nuit a été réservée. Les autres l'ont été au fur et à mesure.



Nous avons décidé de nous concentrer sur le nord, plus sauvage. Notre besoin de grands espaces vierges nous avait poussés à réserver le Wyoming. La Suède nous offrira-t-elle la même chose ?

La crise de l’aviation va faire exploser le prix des billets les pistes explorées pour convaincre les voyageurs sont diverses. Je ne peux que vous recommander la plus grande prudence avec la compagnie aérienne SAA, en effet ils étaient au bord du dépôt de bilan avant le Covid-19, alors maintenant ... Et dans ce cas point de remboursement de billets 😕
