* Applicants must be able to continue their journey beyond

* Visa for the neighbouring countries, i.e.

Germany,
Austria and/or
Italy must be obtained before the Swiss Visa.
Documents to be Submitted:
* 1 application form completed and signed by the applicant; these forms are available at the Embassy and can be downloaded from this website.
* 1 passport photograph (undamaged and of recent date)
* 1 valid national passport
* 1 photocopy of the passport (1st, 2nd and last page only).
* Confirmed travel ticket (air, rail, bus/coach) to and from
Switzerland or via
Switzerland to final destination
* Hotel reservation and/or package tour confirmation by travel agent
* Proof of sufficient funds to cover the cost of your stay, such as bank statements, savings book, credit cards and travellers' cheques. Cash is not acceptable. Minimum requirements Sfr. 100 per person for each day or Sfr. 50 per person for each day for students producing a student identity card or a letter from their university or college.
