Salut tout le monde ! Je suis nouveau ici mais j'aurais vraiment du m'inscrire ici avant pour pouvoir rencontrer des nouveaux potes !
Comme le titre le dit, moi et 4 de mes ami(e)s partont pour Banff le 1er septembre et ce pour au moins 5 mois, mes ami 1 an, moi on verra, si j'adore ce sera plus!
Premièrement, en arrivant au début septembre, est-ce qu'il y a des activités intéressantes à faire ? J'ai entendu dire que les périodes de gel débutaient dans ce coin-là et j'ai pas envie d'arriver à destination sans pouvoir profiter de mon longboard, mon vélo, mon skateboard et mon snowboard.
Avec combien d'argent me conseilleriez-vous de partir ? Bien sur nous allons travailler sur place, nous aimerions se louer une maison ou un appartement, qu'est-ce que vous me conseillez et où? Directement a banff ou ailleur ? Ou bien d'avoir un emploi avec hébergement inclus ?
Nous voulons bien sûr internet et télévision et voudrions rester tous les 5 ensemble.
Pour les jobs, je sais que ça se trouve facilement, mais une job qui paye quand même bien pour pouvoir s'en permettre ça dit quoi ? Par exemple vendeur dans un skateshop/snowshop? Que me conseillez-vous pour avoir le plus de temps de ride possible?
Pour notre première ou 2 premières semaines, nous comptions loger dans un auberge jeunesse, en avez vos une à conseiller particulièrement ? (Pour qu'il nous aide à chercher un emploi et appart/maison)
Nous partons de Rivière-du-Loup (à 4h à l'est de Montréal), est-ce que vous avez des endroits que vous m'obligeriez d'arrêter (paysage, sport, divertissement, etc..)
Nous sommes tous des amants de la nature, chasse, pêche, sports de bois, etc..

je pense que ça doit être comme à Lake Louise il n'y a qu'une seule AJ.
Celle de Lake Louise est très bien très propre par contre c'est onéreux.

faut compter dans les 70-100 dollars par jour c'est un minimum ou alors faut aller manger chez McDo.
Faut voir le site de Hi Hostel , tu peux prendre le "job seeker package" à condition de rester 14 nuits ; ça coûte 56 dollars la nuit.
Je crois qu'avec ce package tu as le petit déjeuner et un certain accès à internet gratuit..

moi j'y suis aller avec 2 de mes amies il y a 2 ou 3 ans mais sa ne doit pas avoir trop trop changer.
Tout d'abord les jobs, tu auras le choix !! septembre devient une période plus morte et la plupart des québécois qui y sont que pour l'été repartent pour l'école. Moi personnellement, j'ai travaillé dans un skateshop dans le cascade mall. Je n'étais pas payer vraiment cher mais la job était relaxe. ( Mieux que housekeeping) Nous avons commencé notre périple dans un staffacomm ( comme housekeeping parce skateshop ne fournisse pas l'hébergement )mais je crois que pour 5 mois et plus tu es mieux de te trouver un appart. Pour notre part ( parce que c'est ultra cher ) nous avions un appart 2 étages très sketch avec 2 chambres et nous étions 10 ( des lites double mis au 2e avec 2 salles de bains et cuisine). Serré mais confortable et de party et ça nous coutais qunad même quelque chose comme 400$/mois chaque. Je te suggère donc d'avoir de l'argent de côté avant ton départ.
Tu pourras sans faute user de tout ( longboard, skateboard ) lors de ton arrivée mais il ne fera pas hyper chaud.

J'ai réservé au hi-hostel à Banff le 4 octobre prochain et j'ai pris le forfait job seeker, j'aimerais simplement préciser que ce n'est pas 56$ la nuit mais bien 27$ la nuit pour un total de 378$ pour 14 jours. Une fois à l'auberge, si tu te trouves une job et que tu quittes avant les 14 jours, il rembourse les nuits inutilisées.
De plus si tu annules avant 24h d'avis, aucun frais ne sera porté à ta carte de crédit.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland?
