J'envisage de partir durant un an au Canada (plutot côté anglais, histoire de tenter de devenir bilingue !) et j'aimerai donc en savoir un peu plus sur le permis-vacances-travail. J'ai déjà regarder sur internet, où ils expliquent comment on fait pour obtenir ce PVT. Mais j'ai pas bien compris, il faut qu'on ait une sorte de promesse d'emploi avant de demander ce permis là ? Et ensuite, j'aimerais savoir si il y a un moyen pour être pris à plusieurs.. en fait on serait trois à vouloir aller là-bas, et donc esque si on le précise ds les lettres de motivation, il y a une chance (voire +...) pour qu'on soit pris tous ensemble ?

Par exemple, esque si on veut venir pour travailler au Canada, il faut forcément le PVT ? pasque admettons que sur les deux autres personnes av qui je veux aller, si il y en a une qui n'est pas prise, esque elle peut qd mm trouver un autre moyen pour venir avec nous ? comme un visa de un an permettant de travailler sur place ou quoi ? Et ensuite, quel est (à peu près) la moyenne d'un mois de loyer, là-bas ? (un apprt avec deux chambres, et meublé...!) Voilà voilà...! Merci !
Il faut un permis de travail pour travailler au Canada si on n'est pas Canadien ou résident permanent, c'est aussi simple que ça.
Comme je l'ai expliqué, il y a plusieurs types de permis de travail, soit le PVT pour les jeunes, valide 1 an seulement, et le permis de travail qu'on obtient grâce à un employeur canadien. Il n'est pas possible d'obtenir ces autorisations sur place, il faut faire la demande à l'ambassade canadienne.
Si une personne se présente à la frontière pour venir travailler et qu'elle n'a pas d'autorisation au préalable, elle sera renvoyée illico dans son pays. Il faut garder en tête que les emplois sont réservés aux locaux, pas aux étrangers!
Va voir le site du gouvernement canadien (cic.gc.ca) ou contacte l'ambassade canadienne en France, ils te donneront l'info.
Pour les logements, cela dépend des endroits, va voir ce site:

le pvt représente la meilleure option pour vous, car c'est le seul visa qui ne necessite pas d'avoir trouvé un travail avant de venir. Si votre dossier est complet, il n'y a aucune raison que ca soit refusé... Les prochains pvt sont disponibles en octobre (dans une semaine, oui 😎), pour un départ en janvier 2008 au plus tôt.

Exact, non seulement c'est long, mais c'est une démarche sérieuse qui demande temps et bcp d'argent. Pour un jeune qui ne connait pas le pays et qui souhaite plutôt avoir une expérience temporaire, je ne recommande pas tellement le visa de résident permanent.

Ce n'est pas tout à fait vrai; si on possède des qualifications ou une spécialisation dans un domaine en demande, il est tout à fait possible de trouver du travail avant d'arriver au Canada! Par exemple, les boulangers sont très demandés car au Canada, il n'y a presque pas de diplômés! Même chose pour les professions d'infirmières, les gestionnaires, informaticiens, etc. où on recherche de la main-d'oeuvre qualifiée.
Cependant, rien ne tombe tout cuit dans le bec: il faut avoir une démarche sérieuse, motivée, contacter plusieurs entreprises, faire valoir ses qualifications, etc. Rien ne vous sera servi sur un plateau d'argent.

non, c'est bon pour vous : c'est pour un départ en 2008, valable un an maximum (donc retour en 2009 possible, tant que c'est dans les 12 mois qui suivent). Par contre, faites la demande bien à l'avance (le mois prochain) en précisant vos dates de départ... car ca va partir très vite !
par contre, vous y aller bien pour visiter et travailler ? parce que pour les études, ce n'est pas possible avec le pvt...

tu px bien sur rester où tu veux pendant la durée de ton pvt, personne n'ira voir si tu as bien visité tout le canada ou juste montréal (ou ailleurs). D'ailleurs, le pvt canadien permet même de travailler toute l'année avec le même employeur (ce n'est pas le cas en Australie par exemple où c'est 6 mois max)... pas de soucis là dessus. De toutes facons, en envoyant vos demandes en octobre, vous serez assez vite fixés. Mais je ne vois pas pourquoi on vous en refuserai un, si vous donnez tous les papiers necessaires...

non, je suis allé au canada en tant qu'étudiant puis stagiaire (permis de travail). Mais je me suis pas mal renseigné sur le sujet, je vais peut etre en demander un l'année prochaine...
Je rencontre un autre problème : esque il faut un passeport biométrique ? pasque je compte en faire un dans tous les cas mais il sera prêt d'ici trois mois et donc pour l'instant je n'ai qu'un passeport delphine (le passeport qu'on m'échangera contre le biométrique, bon bref, c compliqué lol) mais c bon qd mm ?!

Ma foi, cela dépend de ce que vous recherchez! En Alberta, dans toutes les villes, il est facile de trouver du boulot car il y a une pénurie de main-d'oeuvre. Le problème sera le logement, difficile d'accès en ce moment.
Faites une recherche sur les différentes villes canadiennes pour voir ce qui pourrait vous convenir. Il faudra vous trouver des critères.

non, pas d'aide au logement au canada, mais rassure-toi les loyers sont quand meme moins chers qu'en France (bon, sauf apparement en Alberta...)
pour ton passeport, il est peut etre valable pour les etats-unis aussi (delphine antérieur à oct 2005... cf fonction rechercher), dans ce cas inutile d'en refaire un.
Le mien, par exemple est un delphine de 2004. Je suis rentré 6 fois aux Etats-Unis cette année, jamais de problème...
Re ! Bon c bon, on tous les papiers mais juste une dernière question (encore lol) c quoi comme documents qu'il faut fournir pr assurer qu'on a les 700 € dt les trois premiers mois ?

le dossier peut être téléchargé lundi il me semble, mais va voir sur internet, ya un site spécial PVTistes (g plus l'adresse, mais tape ça et tu trouvera) et ils expliquent pas mal de chose. Sinon le délai de traitement... je rois que c 5 semaines après réception du dossier à l'ambassade mais je suis pas sure...
Après pr l'assurance, c à souscrire que si tu es pris, mais je sais pas spécialement comment ça se passe désolée.

Sérieusement, je me bats souvent en France avec mes collègues qui considèrent que la lettre de motavation doit impérativement être manuscrite, au contraire du CV. La majorité des entreprises exige que ce soit manuscrit, effectivement.
oui mais justement, comme tu dis, en général on demande des letrtes manuscrites...donc je pense que je me ferais à la main, pasque après un sondage, je nen connais pas ( à part toi nikky ?!) qui en écrive à l'ordi (cecidit je suis d'accord av vs !) bon, et autre question (lol moi et mes questions !) esque on peut emmener des animaux facilement au canada ? (je pense en l'occurence à un tit chat...) et si oui, y a-t-il des modalités particulières ?!
Honnêtement, je doute que le fait que ta lettre soit manuscrite au lieu de par ordinateur fasse une différence dans tes chances d'obtenir ton PVT...si tu rejoins tous les critères et que ton but est vraiment de travailler et de voyager, et que tu soumets tes documents, tu auras ton visa.
Pour les animaux, il faut apporter le carnet de vaccination qui stipule que le vaccin contre la rage est toujours valide. Il faut payer à la douane des frais de 35$ (cartes de crédit acceptées) une fois arrivé au Canada. Évidemment, faut voir avec ta compagnie aérienne quelles sont les modalités pour le transport.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
