J'écris ici en quelques sortes pour avoir de l'aide et des feedbacks des gens qui sont allés dans l'ouest Canadien.
Moi et 2 autres de mes amies avons prévus partir dans l'ouest canadien (Banff) cet été de juin jusqu'en août et nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d'emplois là-bas. J'ai lu plusieurs autres discussions datant des années antérieurs et j'ai vu que plusieurs s'étaient trouvés un emploi rendu là-bas. Je me demandais s'il était plus facile d'arriver là-bas et chercher un emploi rendu la que faire des démarches pour se faire embaucher avant de partir du Québec. Ça nous stresse un peu d'arriver là-bas sans emploi.
J'ai un contact pour appliquer dans les Hôtels Fairmont, mais jusqu'à maintenant ça ne semble pas vraiment marcher.
Je me demandais si vous auriez des endroits à nous proposer?
Aussi, on aimerait savoir quels moyens de transports est le plus avantageux au niveau prix, le train, le bus où l'avion?
Nous avons dans l'idée de partir travailler et passer l'été à Banff, mais y a t-il d'autres endroits que vous nous suggérer en Alberta?
Salut, jai deja fait de calgary a l'ile de vancouver sur le pouce, a 3 occasions, en effet pour l'emploi c'est plus facile d'en trouver en se presentant sur place, je sais pas si vous tenez vraiment aller juste a banff??Lors de mon premier voyage moi et mon ami on c'est rendu a banff le 1 juin 2008 apre quelque jours(3) a ce faire dire qui avait rien a banff, on c'est dirige a Canmore c'est a 20 minute de banff, cette ville est tombe "ma ville" dans les rocheuses, il y a une agence pour le travail appele le PPP vous vous presentez dans leur bureau donnez vos renseignement, et eu vont vous trouver des job(souvent pour 2-3 jours)l'agence fouri le materiel necessaire , dependament cest quoi la job, en attendant de se trouver une job stable le PPP est pafait.
Pour le moyen de transport si vous reservez avec greyhound ,21 jours davance ou plus, moi ca ma couter 125$ pour un billet dautobus jusqua Edmonton le 1 avril(seulement 20 jours avant le retour en alberta :), c'est sur cest plus long 55h de voyage mais vrm pas chere.Moi je demenage de shawinigan a edmonton le 1 avril, c'est moins beau que dans les rocheuses mais ya bcp plus de job , plus payante et le cout de la vie est moins chere.C'est a 4h de jasper.Mais bon la je m'eloigne de votre sujet :P

Merci beaucoup, pour ces bonnes informations, c'est bien pour l'agence d'emploi, on aura des possibilités à ce niveau là, on va regarder ça et si jamais la-bas on a besoin d'aide on aura ça pour nous aider. C'est une bonne idée pour l'autobus, c'est pas trop chère, peut-être qu'on pensait prendre l'avion étant donné qu'on veut arriver la-bas le plus vite possible. J'avais aussi entendu parler un peu de Canmore ça l'air d'un beau coin aussi, on vise Banff en premier, mais c'est sure que si on voit qu'il n'y a rien, on va probablement se diriger là ou à Jasper, beaucoup dise que c'est également une belle place.
J'avais aussi une question, pour l'argent la-bas, on paie tout avec crédit ou il y a des endroits où ils prennent débit (desjardins)?
Souvent ils accepte le debit et les places ou il refuse les cartes ya toujours un guichet pour faire des retrait(2,50$ frai dutilisation), moi jai jamais voyager avec une carte de credit et jai jamais eu de probleme.
Vous prevoyer vous presentez a banff quand??Pcq au mois de mai c'est le mois ou vous avez les meilleurs chances de trouver une job.Banff etant tres petit comme ville il y a pas beaucoup d'emploi, donc le mieux c'est de se presenter 1-2 semaine avant le debut de la saison estivale la bas pour arriver avant les autres voyageurs.

Si vous etes chanceuses la saison va commencer plus tard, a mon premier voyage on etait arriver le 1 juin et la saison etait bien commencer(Pour Jasper c'est pas mal pareil, ce sont 2 villes petite mais qui attirent beaucoup de monde et quand les centre de ski ferme les emploie diminue)...j'avais ete voir une agence de travail et ces eux qui mavaient suggere d'aller a Canmore vue la ville es plus en developpement, donc plus de job.Je dit pas ca pour vous decouragez de Banff mais c'est mieux de savoir a quoi s'attendre en arrivant, moi personellement jpensai arriver la bas et travailler direct en arrivant a banff, mais comme je dit vous pouvez vous essayer quand meme ya des bonne hotel de jeunesse pour avoir une place ou vivre en attendant d'avoir une job.Et si vous reussisez a vous trouver une job vous allez passe une ete inoubliable a vous faire des connaisance de partout dans le monde et tripper parce que vivre dans les rocheuses c'est le bonheur pur !!

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
Are there any special requirements before leaving France (aside from taxes...)?

Hi, I’m a self-employed physiotherapist in France, and as my wife (a nurse) and I look into working abroad in about two years, I’ve been offered an equivalence to become a respiratory physiotherapist in Switzerland. Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?
